Tnr reported the mare can be somewhat disingenuous and may not have appreciated having to race amongst other horses in the straight and also the increase in weight today may have contributed to it not being able to finish off the race.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be foot lame in the near foreleg. A further veterinary examination of SEAT OF POWER revealed the gelding to have injured its near fore knee and will require a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.
