Had to be severely restrained near the 950m when continuing to over race and getting on the heels of KILKENNY DAZZLER. Shortly after passing the 800m, lost ground and had to be checked severely whilst over racing and commenced racing tight between KILKENNY DAZZLER and BUBBLES ‘N’ MORE. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Stewards inquired into an incident rounding the home turn, it was established that jockey L Cassidy had attempted to shift wider on track to secure clear running and in doing so, initiated contact with COTTON FIELDS after passing the 500m and when attempting again to secure clear running approaching the 400m, both horses shifted ground and as a result made heavy contact which caused both runners to become unbalanced. When considering the evidence tendered, stewards took no action.
