Jumped away awkwardly inward. Checked at the 900m. On returning to scale, apprentice A. Patis lodged an objection against ALEYSA’S DREAM being declared the winner for alleged interference in the first 200m, and in the home straight. After taking evidence from the riders and trainers of the respective runners, and in considering the nature of the interference along with the manner in which the horses’ finished off the race, Stewards dismissed the protest and declared correct weight on the semaphored numbers. Checked at the 900m.
