Dipped on a number of occasions during the middle stages. Stewards questioned Jockey N Tomizawa in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance of the gelding. Jockey Tomizawa advised that the gelding never comfortably and was off the bit during the event which he attributed to it stepping back in distance for today’s event. He added that when placed under pressure the gelding failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing.
