Stewards questioned apprentice rider regarding the tactics she adopted during the race. She confirmed she was instructed to lead if possible and when she was unable to reach the lead, she elected to remain four wide as she felt by restraining her mount and receiving kickback from the sand would have been more detrimental to her chances. The Stewards noted her comments with no further action required.
