Raced four wide without cover. When questioned regarding the horse’s disappointing performance, jockey B. Appo stated that his instructions were to lead if possible, however the filly failed to show the necessary speed to comply with these instructions and as a result when attempting to improve forward was caught racing wide. He added that the filly was not entirely comfortable on today’s tight track, however was still disappointing in its performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Added instructions were to have wherever comfortable and keep up momentum. Further added after passing 800m when close to heels of LAND OFFICE elected to improve to outside of that runner and no sooner had he done that LIMERICK MOON commenced to lose ground, forcing him to race 4 wide from 600m. Rdr stated that mount was under pressure from 500m & disapp to line. Rdr stated the fact mount is a small mare, required to carry 60kg & had a tough run were all to its detriment. Tnr advised would be spelled. P/R vet exam found no ab's.
