As this was the first occasion on which the gelding has bled, it will be ineligible to race for 3 months and prior to resuming racing must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a steward.

Lunney was advised that the horse will be ineligible to race for 3 months, and prior to resuming racing must perform satisfactorily in a 1000m gallop in the presence of a Steward.

Rider re tactics - explained after being keen in preliminary began well and obtained lead without pressure and rounding first turn when an attempt was made to restrain to slow the speed it failed to respond to his efforts and continued to overrace. Explained not his intention to go so hard but was unable to restrain further which contributed to its failure to finish race off.
