Lost ground near the 1000m when crowded and buffeted between ENTERPRISE GRAND and FUJI FLYER, which was carried inwards slightly by I DREAM OF GREEN when that colt was racing tight to the inside of MAKFI AMOUR, which in turn was racing tight to the inside of DEFENCE MISSILE. Checked near the 900m when severely tightened for room. Shifted outwards near the 600m after becoming awkwardly placed at the heels of MAKFI AMOUR.

Began awkwardly. Stewards questioned jockey S. Bogenhuber regarding the seemingly disappointing performance. Jockey Bogenhuber advised that, despite being forced to do some work in the early stages to obtain a position outside the leader, the filly travelled strongly until placed under pressure, at which point it failed to respond to her riding and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. A swab sample was taken from the filly.
