Mr Misunderstood Raced keenly in the early and middle stages despite the rider’s efforts to restrain. Returned to the enclosure with blood present in one nostril. The veterinary surgeon was satisfied that the presence of blood was as a result of external trauma and no action was taken. Apprentice C. Frater-Hill expressed disappointment with the performance of the gelding, which she advised raced very one-paced in today’s event. Toowoomba 23/09/2018

The Barracuda Began awkwardly and lost ground. Forced wider on the track for some distance by another runner from the 400m. Dalby 27/09/2018
Red Monkey Raced with cover for the majority. Laid out rounding the home turn. Dalby 27/09/2018
Dinisty Held up and unable to improve rounding the home turn and in the early stages of the home straight. Hung in over the concluding stages. Toowoomba 23/09/2018

Carpe Noctem When questioned regarding the horse’s disappointing performance, E. Ljung stated that the filly did not travel well throughout and raced greenly today and may not have been suited by the three weeks since its last start. Trainer B. Currie advised that the horse may be better suited racing on the speed in future starts and he will review the horse’s current preparation before determining whether the horse will be sent for a spell. Maidenover Raced wide throughout. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Gatton 15/09/2018
Rosendahl Red Stewards questioned apprentice R. Goldsbury regarding the tactics adopted in today’s event, in particular in the early stages of the race. Apprentice Goldsbury explained that whilst no specific riding instructions were issued, the filly has been ridden in rearward positions at its prior 2 starts and thought the filly would be best suited racing with cover. Apprentice Goldsbury also stated that when attempting to move away from the rail near the 200m, the filly hung in noticeably, which inhibited her from gaining a run to the inside DIAMOND ACCOUNT which was racing tightly to her outside unt Rockhampton 24/07/2018

Proud Captain Began awkwardly. Taree 16/09/2018
Tatoi Bumped upon entering the home straight by TONY’S DECREE which was laying in. Steadied near the 100m when placed in restricted room to the inside of TONY’S DECREE which was laying in. Rider reported hung out for majority. Toowoomba 02/09/2018
Honest Natalie Raced 3 wide Kilcoy 06/09/2018
Queen of Havana The saddle slipped backwards during the event, placing the rider at some disadvantage. Toowoomba 16/09/2018
Gratsie Hampered on jumping. Tightened for room shortly after the start. Raced wide with cover throughout. When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, which was heavily backed, jockey M. Du Plessis said the gelding was fractious in the enclosure and after jumping raced somewhat keenly throughout. He added that in his opinion the gelding was disadvantaged today, being three weeks between runs and stepping up to the 1625m in today’s event for the first occasion. He said that whilst it may have appeared to be disappointing, in his opinion the gelding would take significant benefit from it. Toowoomba 23/09/2018

Arctic Circle Bumped on jumping Rockhampton 28/09/2018
Shuda Known Better As apprentice M. Murphy was to be overweight, J. Murphy was substituted as the rider of the horse. Rider J. Murphy dropped his whip near the 200m. Doomben 29/09/2018
 
Race 6
Fomo Shied away from another runner near the 300m and became awkward. Had a tendency to lay in throughout the event. Sunshine Coast 25/02/2018
Magic Ink Slow to begin. Held up rounding the home turn and again approaching the 200m. Sunshine Coast 19/08/2018
Maginot Line Slow to begin. Gatton 15/09/2018
Hidden Sequel Blundered rounding the home turn. Stewards questioned apprentice R. Goldsbury as to the reason for steadying her mount near the 800m to allow ALL OUR WIVES to cross after having maintained the lead from the start. Stewards accepted the explanation, however, advised apprentice Goldsbury that in similar circumstances she should be mindful of her positioning in races as the option she took at this point resulted in her mount being held up for clear running rounding the home turn when ALL OUR WIVES commenced to weaken.
