Rdr stated when asked to improve from 600m mount responded only fairly before peaking on its run & weakening to the line. Rdr stated it was his mounts first attempt at the journey and in his opinion the manner in which it was obliged to race in the early and middle stages was to its detriment running the distance out. P/R vet exam found no ab's.
