Marrock Began awkwardly. Jockey Beau Appo reported that his mount overraced significantly in the early stages which placed him at a disadvantage. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding, which commenced to weaken from the 400m, revealed no significant abnormalities at the time of examination. A swab sample was taken from the gelding. Stable representative M. Currie was advised that the gelding must compete in an official barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to its next start. Toowoomba 17/11/2018

Sir Bam Began awkwardly and shortly after was slightly hampered when tightened for room. Passing the 800m when attempting to obtain cover commenced to overrace and had to be steadied off heels. Ipswich 08/11/2018

Haylee Prince Slow to begin. Wide throughout. Gympie 24/11/2018
I'm Favulous Laid in and away from MASSIVE ATTACK approaching the 1200m and in doing so tightened MOSSERATI which was racing to the inside. Cast the off hind plate in running. Ipswich 30/11/2018
Mr Markou Raced three wide without cover. Inconvenienced and forced wiser by another runner near the 400m and bumped again with another runner near the 300m. Sunshine Coast 25/11/2018

King Bart Raced wide throughout. Near the 1000m commenced to over-race and had to be restrained to avoid the heels of POWERFUL LASS which shifted in. Then continued to over-race for a short distance. Gold Coast 24/11/2018
Fat Max Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Ipswich 21/11/2018
Uno Tops Commenced to overrace at heels after obtaining cover near the 1000m, and had to be steadied. Improved onto the heels of THE INVESTIGATOR near the 400m when that runner shifted out abruptly and, as a result, UNO TOPS was bumped and forced wider on the track resulting in its rider almost being dislodged. Fourgrandman Passing the 900m when crossed by QUEACHY, MY DELILAH which was racing to QUEACHYs inside, laid in and away from that runner and made slight contact with FOURGRANDMAN causing it to become unbalanced for a couple of strides. Gold Coast 10/11/2018

Race 6
Fake News Slow to begin and, as a result, settled further back in the field than anticipated. When questioned by Stewards regarding the seemingly disappointing performance, jockey E. Ljung advised that after being slow to begin the mare settled towards the tail of the field, and never travelled comfortably at any stage of the race. She added that when placed under pressure near the 700m the horse failed to respond to her riding and proved disappointing. Jockey Ljung went on to say that, in her opinion, the mare may not have backed up, having its third run in consecutive weeks. Toowoomba 10/11/2018

Race 7
Aavaara Trainer N. Hocking reported that the gelding had become fractious whilst being unloaded from its float and, as a result, got away in the float carpark before being recaptured. As the gelding had sustained a laceration as a result of this incident, it was examined by the veterinary surgeon and passed fit to start. Began awkwardly. Toowoomba 24/11/2018
