Had to be restrained from the heels of LA FIREBIRD near the 1500m. Tightened for room near the 250m. When asked to explain the horse’s performance, J. Oliver stated that he was disappointed with its finishing effort and added that the horse is better suited on rain-affected tracks. Jockey Oliver indicated that connections had advised him that the mare will now be sent for a spell. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

Shifted out abruptly shortly after the start making heavy contact with AVENERO. Tightened for room near the 800m between RUBY RUSH (App. C. Gallagher) which shifted out when being eased, and NULLADANE (App. T. Williams) which shifted in. As a result of this incident, JACKSON STORM raced 3 wide from this point.
