Stewards questioned Jockey E. Ljung regarding the tactics adopted and the overall performance of the gelding. Jockey Ljung stated that from todays wide gate and rising several kilograms on its most recent performance, it was her intention to ride the gelding off the speed. Jockey Ljung then added when trailing EUROKING near the 700m was forced to commence a run earlier than anticipated as that gelding was tiring. However, Jockey Ljung felt overall todays performance was disappointing. Stewards noted her comments and the gelding was sent for a post-race swab.
