Dougall was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.

When asked to comment on the performance, jockey E. Ljung indicated after being unable to improve at that point approaching the 600m, this cost the mare its momentum as well as its position and had a significant effect on the horse’s finishing effort as it did not respond to her riding over the concluding stages.
