AMANDA CHANT

Queensland Off-The-Track proudly introduces Amanda Chant as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.

Amanda offers a range of horsemanship services to ensure that Standardbreds receive the best start to their new careers and ensure their success in their lives off the track.

“My passion lays with the Standardbred and I am a huge advocate for gaining as much acknowledgement for these horses as possible. Standardbreds are extremely capable of a diverse range of disciplines, and the more we can get this breed recognised the better. I take great pride in producing nice, steady horses that are recognised out and about. To see a horse only knowing racing life and seeing them change both mentally and physically is beyond rewarding.”

With over 20 years’ experience in the saddle and a passion for Dressage, Amanda proudly leads by example and has successfully retrained her own Standardbreds and competed gracefully in the arena, winning multiple State Championships in Dressage and Showing with the Standardbred Association of Queensland and the Standardbred Pleasure & Performance Horse Association of NSW.

Founder of Equine-Konected, an equine therapeutic centre, Amanda has a keen focus on retraining, and in particular, connecting people with safe and well-grounded off the track standardbreds to experience the same joy and fulfilment of owning and riding these magnificent horses as Amanda herself has experienced.
