RACE ONE

JAZZY ARTIST (2)
has been doing a super job from tough gates and will look to take full advantage of her best gate in some time. A winner from gate 4 when rolling forward to take control 3 starts back, her most recent start was a strong effort from gate 10. This looks to hers to lose.

OSCARS GLORY (1) has just seem to have tapered off somewhat but from this gate will get his chance to regather some form. Dropping out after working hard in the breeze last start, he can opt for the trail here and with a cosy run be ready to offer the closing shot.

NOVENA ROSE (6) shoots for the hat-trick but has been dealt no favours from gate 6. Sent forward in the early stages of the 2nd line last start here over this trip she held on to score. With even luck she can podium here.

GUTS (8) will be further tightened from his latest run when 3 runs back from a break. Those 3 starts have been from gates 10, 6 and 6 and getting a nice trail through early can look to be an improver.

SELECTIONS: JAZZY ARTIST (2), OSCARS GLORY (1), NOVENA ROSE (6), GUTS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JAZZY ARTIST (2) to win

RACE TWO

LETHAL PROMISE (4) was a stylish winner here 2 starts back when 1st up since returning to Qld and leading all the way for an 8m margin. Last week he was closing hard to get within a neck of the winner and from this gate can get forward early and continue his good record here at Redcliffe.

DAPPER (1) will find this easier than the past 2 events at AP he has taken on and from the gate will be looking to take them all the way. A winner here 5 start back from this gate and trip, he will be fitter again after 3 runs back from a spell and from the ace will prove a tough nut to crack.

TRAVELNFAST (8) will tighten from his latest run when resuming from a break where he did his share of early work and battled home well behind TIME TRAVELLER. With even luck in transit he can feature.

BLUE EYED CREATION (2) has won 2 of his past 5 starts with his most recent win at Marburg an impressive effort after striking trouble early. He will need a slice of luck from this gate but is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LETHAL PROMISE (4), DAPPER (1), TRAVELNFAST (8), BLUE EYED CREATION (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LETHAL PROMISE (4) to win

RACE THREE

WEASEL (2) has been no closer than gate 4 at his past 6 starts and from the improved gate will look to make his own luck. He was working home in good order last start after being well back and wide off the track and from the improved gate looks to get his chance.

MACH SAM (10) would be a good chance in this line-up if landing a different gate. From the ten-hole he will need some factors to go his way but if able to return a run like his effort 2 starts back from gate 9 when only beaten a neck, he can give this a big shake.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (4) has found her rhythm at her past 2 starts and last time out was a strong winner from the 2nd line when working to the breeze and proving too tough. This is a rise from that win but with the confidence can look to feature here.

LIFEINHEAVEN (7) will need her share of luck from this gate and need to see space at some stage. Last start from gate 4 she looked to take them all the way and was grabbed in the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: WEASEL (2), MACH SAM (10), MIRACLESDOAPPEN (4), LIFEINHEAVEN (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

THE FRAME (5)
started fav from this alley last week over this trip and after cutting the breeze in the run was fighting to the line to hold the bronze behind ITS ALL GO. There looks to be some more early pressure in close in this which will help his cause when he comes calling and he can put them away.

BALLATOR THOR (1) was taken back from gate 6 last start to go luck hunting up the pegs and was rattling home to get within a nose of victory. That was his best return for some time and with the improved gate should get a perfect trip and be ready to strike.

SPLASH OF GOLD (8) doesn’t know how to run a bad race here on the triangle and was in the money again last start extending her record to 18 cheques from 23 starts this season. From this gate she can find position and will be closing out late.

ARBIT MAJOR (2) can look to press for the pegs from this gate and in front tends to produce his best. 3 starts back at AP when resuming from a freshen he found the line nicely behind COTTON COLD CANDY. If finding the front without overcooking it, he can be hard to stop.

SELECTIONS: THE FRAME (5), BALLATOR THOR (1), SPLASH OF GOLD (8), ARBIT MAJOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-2-5-8

RACE FIVE

DATSGOOD (7) will need some factors to go her way and a good pinch of luck as well, but there was plenty to like about her return for the 3YO term last week. 1st up since July she was sent forward from gate 8 and after doing plenty of work was fighting to the line when beaten 7m. Stick with her.

MICKEE CULLEN (4) started fav last week in that same race as DATSGOOD off the ace and was also returning from a long break. Looking to lead all the way he was grabbed in the closing stages and beaten a half-head. Fitter for the run he is right in the fight.

NEVERHAVEIEVER (10) secured the pocket trail behind MICKEE CULLEN las week and was able to outsprint him 1st up the passing lane. Gate 10 makes it harder for her, but with the right trail into the contest will be finishing hard.

BIG BEAT (6) is yet to miss a placing in 6 starts since returning from a spell and been runner-up at the past 2. He worked hard in the run last start and 2 back was only a half-head away after hitting the line in good style. The gate hurts.

SELECTIONS: DATSGOOD (7), MICKEE CULLEN (4), NEVERHAVEIEVER (10), BIG BEAT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DATSGOOD (7) to win

RACE SIX

ARES (5)
will be nearing a fitness peak after 4 runs back from an extended break. 2 starts back form gate 3 he was within 3m of the winner and last start from the 2nd line couldn’t get into the contest. He strikes a wide open contest here and despite the wide gate he looks to get a great chance to breakthrough.

MAKE A POINT (10) did some early work last start and then hoisted the flag and dropped out. Forgiven for that, his runs leading up had been much better and that was also his 1st appearance in  weeks. Tracking home here he has podium claims.

ARMBROS LAD (1) will enjoy the cosy trip here and be ready to strike in the closing stages. He worked home well from gate 6 here 3 starts back and his past 2 has been too far back in the run to challenge. Settling closer to the tempo will suit.

DALACOS EMPRESS (7) will get the cheap run here and can look to work home in the closing stages to make a play for the exotics. Her Marburg effort 2 starts back was solid and she gets some hope in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: ARES (5), MAKE A POINT (10), ARMBROS LAD (1), DALACOS EMPRESS (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2) had been racing well without delivering the knock-out and then 2 starts back from the ace over the 2040m trip went bang when leading all the way for a big 15m victory. Last start he worked hard at AP in the run and from the gate can take control of this.

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (5) faces another tricky gate, yet he continues to return solid performances from the wide alleys. From gate 9 last start he hit the line nicely from back in the pack and 2 back finished best to score. He is right in the mix again here.

THE FORMULA ONE (10) was shooting for the hat-trick last start when taking on a Gold Pot final and was far from disgraced behind RED CHARMER. His win here off this gate 3 starts back was a top effort and he can be charging home again.

HERES MY NUMBER (8) returns from a break after being sent for a spell following a 7m 4th to MACH SAM. He took them all the way 2 start back and finding a good position in the run has some claims.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (5), THE FORMULA ONE (10), HERES MY NUMBER (8)

SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

JOVIAL JULIE (10)
did everything right on debut and even after cutting the breeze in terrible conditions was able to prevail. Better for the outing she can overcome this gate to make it 2 from 2.

BOULDER CITY (3) has been good at his 3 career starts and lines up here after a freshen. Last seen in the Paleface Adios, the effort was solid and from the good gate can look to settle handy and issue a challenge.

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (1) started from this gate last start and was 8 from the winner, the talented looking SIXPENNY RED. With further experience she can look to find the podium from the alley.

CUPCAKESNWHIPPEDCREAM (9) heads north for NSW based Darren McCall after 1 career start at Penrith. The run was full of merit after striking trouble and then attacking the line strongly at Penrith. She is right in this.

SELECTIONS: JOVIAL JULIE (10), BOULDER CITY (3), SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (1), CUPCAKESNWHIPPEDCREAM (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JOVIAL JULIE (10) to win

RACE NINE

NOT ALWAYS (1)
found his race at Marburg and from inside the 2nd line was able to get a soft run and forcing into space arrived to win by a nose. Making errors in recent starts his manners have improved and with the options from this gate looks to get every chance.

WEDDING NIGHT (2) looked to take them all the way last start and after a steady opening half was gunned down to finish 1.5m from the winner. This is no harder and from the gate can fire the first shot early and in front will take some catching.

VINNIE THE POET (10) resumes from a long break and was last seen when having his 3rd career start was only 3.5m from the winner off a 2nd line gate. He trialled behind some handy types to prepare for the return and stays under notice.

CHUMP CHOP (9) looked to take them all the way last start from gate 1 and led them deep into the stretch and was only grabbed up the passing lane in the closing stages. The gate hurts but the last run was a solid effort and he has some hope in this.

SELECTIONS: NOT ALWAYS (1), WEDDING NIGHT (2), VINNIE THE POET (10), CHUMP CHOP (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-2-9-10
