RACE TWO

After 3 runs back from a spell including a last start victory, ANYCHANCE (2) finds another suitable race and a good alley as he searches for successive wins. Pushing forward from gate 6 last start to park outside the leader, he pulled clear to record a strong 8m victory over the 2138m trip. Within 3m when 2nd up, he looks hard to stop here.

JAMIES BAD BOY (4) eased forward last start to park outside THE BUS and with the race developing into a sprint home, he couldn’t go with them when the power went on. Placed at his previous 2 starts from inside the 2nd line, he can position handy again here and will be in for the fight.

COREY WILLIAM (8) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts, the latest when making a late dive and finishing a flared nostril from the winner THE BUS. Tough in the breeze the start prior, he has claims.

COLONEL JOY (1) looked to take them all the way here 2 starts back when nabbed in the closing stages. Not too far away from gate 4 last start, he has the options from the gate to feature.

SELECTIONS: ANYCHANCE (2), JAMIES BAD BOY (4), COREY WILLIAM (8), COLONEL JOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ANYCHANCE (2) to win

RACE THREE

STOMPEM (4) will be further tightened from his latest appearance where he was 2nd up from a break. Sent for a spell following a strong all the way win when leading throughout over the mile, he returned when eased back from gate 4. Settling a long way back last start and hitting the line in nice style, he can capitalise here.

JUMPING JOLT (1) had it fall into place for him last start when sitting just off a solid tempo over the Redcliffe 2040m and when asked to present, was able to pull clear for a smart win. Charging home the start prior after retreating from gate 7, he has the options from the ace to throw out the challenge.

MAFUTA VAUTIN (8) backs up from Tues where he was trying to wind up in the stretch and closed soundly. That followed successive 3rd placed runs since returning from a break and the gate suits.

BUMPER (6) was taken back from gate 6 last start and went looking for short-cuts behind the talented SPEECH IS SILVER. Runner-up to the in-form B MAC C the start prior, he can swoop.

SELECTIONS: STOMPEM (4), JUMPING JOLT (1), MAFUTA VAUTIN (8), BUMPER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: STOMPEM (4) to win

RACE FOUR

RED CHARMER (8)
will need some factors in her favour here, but with the chance that she can secure a cosy trip, she can be ready to make the closing play a winning one. Taken back from gate 6 last start, she was a long way back when running some slick closing panels to finish mid-field. Charging home the start prior, she will be probing for the gaps.

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (1) will be 2nd up since joining the Hayden Barnes stable and from this gate can look to use his early speed. Buried away from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start, he was strong to the line behind JUMPING JOLT. Hustling hard, he can give this a shake.

MAYWYNS COURAGE (9) handed the lead over from gate 1 last start and soon found himself trying to find space behind tiring runners. Only a half-head away the start prior, look for him charging late.

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (7) tried to dictate last start over the 2138m and with some even speed early, couldn’t see it out when fading to last. Despite the tough gate, back to the mile suits and he is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: RED CHARMER (8), LEXUS ON THE BEACH (1), MAYWYNS COURAGE (9), SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: RED CHARMER (8) to win

RACE FIVE

COOL SCOOTER (6) was sent forward to do the tough stuff last start from gate 5 over this trip and keeping the leader company was able to forge clear for the prize. A beaten fav the start prior over the mile, he faces a tricky gate here, but with the ability to work in his races if required, can land the loot.

FEEL THE REIGN (3) sat back in the pack over the mile 2 starts back and saved for a closing shot, swooped hard to take the win. Finding the front prior to releasing last start over the mile, the chasers faced a task in a slick closing panel. With the early bullets to fire, he is in the mix.

BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (5) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts and placed in all 3 starts this prep. Setting the tempo over the mile last start, he was nabbed on the wire by HES NOVAK. He won’t be far away.

KILLARA KAOS (2) will take some benefit from his latest start when stepping out for the 1st time in 4 weeks. Angled to the pegs for a cheap run, he chimed in for 3rd behind HES NOVAK. The 2138m could be a query, but he has place claims.

SELECTIONS: COOL SCOOTER (6), FEEL THE REIGN (3), BRADNESS ELDEFUEGO (5), KILLARA KAOS (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

PELOSI (1) faces an ask here taking on the older mares 2nd up for the term, however she oozes class and has the benefit of pole position. Returning to start her 3YO campaign with an authoritative win after circling to the breeze and pulling away to score by 5m, she can go 2 for 2 with another win.

INNOCENT CROCKER (10) will appreciate taking on her own sex, conditions that she was successful in here 2 starts back. Swooping home hard from this gate score in that contest, she was beaten by gate 7 last start when retreating early. With even luck in transit, she can swoop hard here.

COLOMBIAN GOLD (8) will get the opportunity to tuck in for an easy trip here after using plenty of power in at the front of proceedings in recent starts. Fighting hard last start, she won’t be far away.

CHERRYS THE BEST (9) started fav at Redcliffe last start when striking trouble when looking to inject into the contest. Not far away 2 starts back behind MAYWYNS BEST, she can feature here.

SELECTIONS: PELOSI (1), INNOCENT CROCKER (10), COLOMBIAN GOLD (8), CHERRYS THE BEST (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PELOSI (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

After securing a dream passage along the poles last week, MAJOR CAM (3) had bullets to fire and hit the target as he sizzled home to score. Fitter for the outing where he was 2nd up from a break, he can settle close to the speed here and looks set to make it back-to-back victories.

GLENFERRIE HOOD (5)
fired off the arm from gate 7 and after a steady opening half, built the tempo to set a sub 55 closing half. Looking to hold on, he was nabbed by the flying MAJOR CAM. That followed a sharp all the way win with 6m to spare. He can get forward again and look to fight them off.

ROCK WITH SAM (2) lands his best gate for some time and with good early hustle can look to fire the early shots. His closing splits have been strong in recent starts and from the improved gate can feature.

WATCH PULP FICTION (4) has finished mid-field at his past 2 starts when tracking home wide out from tough draws in each. Settling closer to the action this time around, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR CAM (3), GLENFERRIE HOOD (5), ROCK WITH SAM (2), WATCH PULP FICTION (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR CAM (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (2) had a brief look for the front but with that position unavailable was then forced to hang tough outside the leader. In for the fight, he held on for the bronze in a position that he isn’t really suited to. Devoid of luck in his previous 3 starts, he can settle close enough to strike.

JUST JOSHIN (1) was finding the line in good order last start when grabbing the bronze to be under 3m from the passing lane winner HES NOVAK. Runner-up the start prior when looking to secure a hat-trick of victories, he has the options from the ace and will be ready to challenge.

CELTIC CRUZA (4) will be better served from this gate over the longer trip after snagging back last time out from gate 5 over the short course. Not too far away, he can look to apply some pressure.

BETTERTHANAJEEP (8) will need a slice of luck from this gate but the cosy trip should suit. Tightened following 3 runs back from close to 2 years off the scene, he was game in the breeze last start when beaten a half-neck.

SELECTIONS: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (2), JUST JOSHIN (1), CELTIC CRUZA (4), BETTERTHANAJEEP (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (2) to win

RACE NINE

HOT FLUSH (4) found the 1x1 trail form the 2nd line here last start and making a closing charge, went within a half-head of the prize. Luckless the start prior when locked away and searching for space, her run 3 back had merit behind SPEECH IS SILVER. From this gate she looks to get her chance.

LAUGHING EMOJI (2) found the front last start and looked to take control when fading in the stretch to be 7m from the winner. Firing the 1st shot here, she has podium claims.

BEZZA (1) features in a stable switch and will line up for Stephanie Graham for the 1st time. Kept fresh since her last appearance, she lands the gate to get the right trip and stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: HOT FLUSH (4), LAUGHING EMOJI (2), BEZZA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: HOT FLUSH (4) to win

RACE TEN

GREG THE GREAT (5) has returned in great order, landing a pair of wins in 4 starts this campaign. Sitting in the trail last start, he was angled into space in the stretch to cruise past the leader and claim a 7m victory. Finishing best when arriving to win from the mobile here 3 starts back, he can swoop late here.

ALS LAW (1) is a fast beginner from the mobile that the presents available options. Runner-up here 3 starts back over the mobile mile when releasing the leading role, he was run down here last start when looking to take them all the way. With plenty of speed wider off the front, he can strike late.

QUIETLY SPOKEN (6) was a winner over the mobile 2138m here 4 starts back when spearing across from gate 3 and taking them all the way. Coming off big handicaps in her 3 starts since, conditions suit here.

OUR OVERANOVA (10) will strip fitter following his run here last week when resuming from a spell. Coming off the 45m impost, he caught the field quickly and was sound to the line. With a great mobile record, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GREG THE GREAT (5), ALS LAW (1), QUIETLY SPOKEN (6), OUR OVERANOVA (10)
SUGGESTED BET: GREG THE GREAT (5) to win
