RACE TWO

ARNOLD (7) put it all together last start, powering home in the stretch and trotting cleanly to claim his 1st win in Aus. Providing plenty of headaches along the way, he looked good in the victory, trotting cleanly and maintaining his rhythm under pressure. This is no harder and he can look to repeat.

ZOOMALONG JOHNNY (2) settled in the pocket trail last start after content to release the pressure. With the closing shot, he was 3m in arrears of the in-form HAVANA MAGIC in claiming the silver. Splitting the win in a dead-heat here 2 starts back, he will be close to the action from the front tape.

HAVANA MAGIC (10) made it 3 in succession last start, pressing forward from the 20m tape to take control over the 2647m and cruise to a 3m victory. Despite the 30m tape, she is flying.

SKYLINE (9) has been chasing home behind HAVAN MAGIC his past 3 and will appreciate receiving the 10m advantage this time. Beaten 10m off equal terms last start, he is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: ARNOLD (7), ZOOMALONG JOHNNY (2), HAVANA MAGIC (10), SKYLINE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ARNOLD (7) to win

RACE THREE

SPIRIT WALKER (6) went to the pegs last start and with the good trip was only 5m from the winner JEDDY R YA READY after giving away 10m at the handicaps. She found the line nicely in that, which had followed a smart 1st up win over this trip. Loving the longer distance, this is within her grasp.

JEDDY R YA READY (7) had been building towards another victory and with the right trip last start, finished a six-pack of wins here at The Creek. With a well-timed finish, he powered home to take a 2 victory. Closing strongly the start prior, he is right in the fight again in this contest.

JUSTABITLIKEMUM (2) went straight to the front over the 2138m 2 starts back and dictating terms, fought them all off to score a smart win. Within 3m of SPIRIT WALKER over this trip last start, she can feature again.

SIR FAHRENHEIT (8) will take good benefit from his 1st outing since arriving in Aus when working home in good order to finish 3rd. Fitter after 6 weeks and a Trans-Tasman migration between starts, he stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: SPIRIT WALKER (6), JEDDY R YA READY (7), JUSTABITLIKEMUM (2), SIR FAHRENHEIT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SPIRIT WALKER (6) to win

RACE FOUR

WHICH HUNT (3)
will be further tightened from her latest start when 2nd up from a spell. Her return run from gate 7 was a nice effort after restraining early and then hitting the line strongly and that was followed with a tough run when wide for a long way behind the handy FOND MEMORIES. With her only win coming at this trip, she can land her 2nd career win.

SUNNY RICE (2) was 1st up from a spell last start following a 6-start campaign to kick-off her career that returned 3 placings. Not interested in pressing for the front at her return, she had led them up over this trip 2 starts back when grabbed on the wire, beaten a head. Fitter for the run, she can be sharper here.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (8) will have early options as the lone 2nd line runner to position in the running line or stay against the inside. Breaking his maiden 2 starts back, he can be thereabouts.

FLO RYDA (7) took them all the way at his Aus debut here 3 starts back and then at his next appearance from the pocket trail, found them a bit sharp. The wide gate stings, but the longer trip looks to be in his favour.

SELECTIONS: WHICH HUNT (3), SUNNY RICE (2) CHANCELESS CENTURY (8), FLO RYDA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WHICH HUNT (3) to win

RACE FIVE

A tough race to open the Quaddie where you could put forward some sort of case for nearly every runner. Settling on THE RAGNBONE MAN (9) despite the 2nd line gate with his runs this prep good. An all the way winner 3 starts back, he will appreciate the return to this type of opposition after meeting much stronger line-ups his past 2.

PHOTOZEN (10) wasn’t suited last time when forced to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way outside the leader. Fading under the pressure, it had followed a handy 3rd when taking short-cuts after easing to the pegs from gate 7. With even luck in transit, he won’t be too far away.

FEEL THE THUNDER (4) has placed at his past 2 starts, the latest when 3m from CUT FROM ROCK. Locked away on the pegs 2 starts back, he chimed in for the bronze and can fire the 1st shot here.

BEAUDACIOUS (8) will need a slice of luck in the run, but if a gap should open in time, he can make a closing play. Keen in front last start, he was a beaten fav the start prior and has podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: THE RAGNBONE MAN (9), PHOTOZEN (10), FEEL THE THUNDER (4), BEAUDACIOUS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THE RAGNBONE MAN (9) to win

RACE SIX

RICH VIRGIN (7) has the wide gate to overcome, yet he has been racing in stronger events than he will take on here. Unable to find position last start, he retreated and was then too far back to make any impact. That was in open company behind the flying MAJOR CAM. Completing a hat-trick of victories I his past 5 starts, he can arrive in this.

BIG BANG LEONARD (8) resumes from a freshen and had been racing in good style prior to the let-up. Finding the line in good style last start when 5m from MAJOR CURRENCY, he was forced to grind it out in the breeze the start prior when not far away. With early options as the lone 2nd line runner, he can challenge.

MAYWYNS BEST (6) is in nice touch, taking them all the way over the mile in Sat night company 2 starts back. Following that with a 2nd last start when grabbed up the passing lane by CLARKEY, he won’t be far away.

BULL MARKET (4) was a winner from gate 7 here 3 starts back when biding his time in the pack prior to finishing strongly and take a claiming victory. Only 6m away last start, he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: RICH VIRGIN (7), BIG BANG LEONARD (8), MAYWYNS BEST (6), BULL MARKET (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RICH VIRGIN (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

This race shapes as a great contest, with the front-line speed and battle for early position looking a tricky puzzle to piece together. Following 3 runs back from a break, GINGER MICKY (10) might just get the right trip to take the prize. Arriving for a smart win here 2 starts back, he was dead game in the breeze last start when beaten a lip by the in-form CAUTIVAR. He can arrive.

BLACKSADANCE (2) started fav from gate 1 last start and after setting the speed, dialled it up through the last 800m. Grabbed near the wire by CAUTIVAR, the last half was put down in 55.3 and had followed a narrow defeat over the 2138m from the 2nd line. Tightened from the run after 4 weeks between starts, he is right in the fight.

BLACKJACK BART (4) will take further benefit from his latest start when 2nd up from a spell. Only an eyelash off beating GINGER MICKY 1st up, he bounced back with an all the way win last start and has a strong hand in this event.

A RAINBOW DELIGHT (5) faces a sticky gate but if it is keen and willing early, she might just land the right position to then take the closing shot. Holding on for the silver behind the smart STREET APPEAL last start, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GINGER MICKY (10), BLACKSADANCE (2), BLACKJACK BART (4), A RAINBOW DELIGHT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GINGER MICKY (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

MAFUTA VAUTIN (5) should be close to full fitness now following 4 runs back from a spell. Placed in 3 of those runs, his latest came when locked away 3 back on the poles, using the passing lane to be 4m from the winner URBAN GIRL. Finding position cheaply, he can look to finish hard off what looks to be a strong tempo.

ARTHUR LOWE (2) eased back from gate 5 last start to slide into the running line over the 2138m trip. Hitting the line in nice style in some smart closing sections, he was only 6m from the winner SABRAGE. Working home strongly the start prior behind the in-form ANYCHANCE, he can challenge.

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (3) has been gunned down at 4 of his past 5 starts when setting the tempo. He looks likely to get to the front again and will be gripping on. Can he see it out?

BUMPER (10) wasn’t suited last start when forced to snag back from gate 6 to find a spot. Too far back in the pack, he was sound in the closing stages and with the speed on here, can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: MAFUTA VAUTIN (5), ARTHUR LOWE (2), SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (3), BUMPER (10)
SUGGESTED BET:
