RACE TWO

PURE CHARISMA (7) will need a rub of the green from this alley, but following a smart beginner can get the right run in transit. Not suited last start when eased back early before circling to the breeze, her run 2 back had merit when 5m in arrears. In a tricky mares race, she will be probing for the openings.

TORQUE IS MY GIRL (3) will strip fitter following her latest start when 1st up from a spell. Eased from this gate to find the pegs and an economical trip, she was doing her best work late and against the tempo to be mid-field. Finding position cheaply will be key to her chances that look good here.

GODDESS JUJON (6) started a red figure fav last start when striking some early trouble before using the passing lane to finish with the bronze. Gate 6 stings her chances, but she can chime in late.

TELL THE FUTURE (1) led them up last start over the sprint trip and was worried out of it by LETHAL STAR who was positioned outside her. The 2040m is a query, but she has the gate speed to feature.

SELECTIONS: PURE CHARISMA (7), TORQUE IS MY GIRL (3), GODDESS JUJON (6), TELL THE FUTURE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

SIR JUJON (7) started from this gate last time out when eased away from the pegs early and sent to the breeze. Fading in the stretch under the load, he was 8m in arrears of the winner. 3rd the start prior behind the handy filly TRUE STEPPER, he just needs to hit the lane with momentum to arrive for the prize.

TOANUI SPIRIT (6) was sent forward to take on the lamp lighting duties last start from gate 5 over the sprint trip. Setting it up for a strong closing 800m, she was grabbed in the closing stages. Fitter for the run after a 3-week gap between starts and a stable switch, she can overcome the gate.

BRONSKI MACARENA (1) looked to take them all the way from this gate last start when gunned down in the stretch. Placed her previous 4 in succession, she will be gripping on again.

ART SUNSET (5) returns to start her 4YO term after ending her 3YO season with successive wins here over this trip. Opening the pipes in a recent trial, she will take benefit from the run.

SELECTIONS: SIR JUJON (7), TOANUI SPIRIT (6), BRONSKI MACARENA (1), ART SUNSET (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR JUJON (7) to win

RACE FOUR

BOLT THE BOMB (1)
lands the gate to take full advantage here and with limited pressure drawn to his outside, looks tough to run down. A smart winner when leading all the way from this gate 3 starts back, he has placed in both appearances since, the latest a tough effort in the breeze at AP.

FRENCH GLOBE (7) started from this gate last start and was soon locked away and then facing a big ask as the front end tempo made it tough for the chasers. Down the line his previous 2 starts prior to that, he can settle one position closer and with the soft run looks the one to issue a challenge.

DYNAMIC DEEJAY (3) eased back early from gate 5 last start before trying to work into the contest when grabbing the bronze. Not suited in the breeze the start prior, he is a podium chance.

ROWDYS ACE (8) can dart down to the pegs here, with that looking a good place to be in this. Runner-up via the passing lane 2 starts back, look for the big grey taking inside runs.

SELECTIONS: BOLT THE BOMB (1), FRENCH GLOBE (7), DYNAMIC DEEJAY (3), ROWDYS ACE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1 / 3-7-8

RACE FIVE

RITCHIE BEE (8) hasn’t been to the winners stall for a while now, however he might just have found the right contest to change that. His run 3 starts back was sound when working home in good order and he followed that with a wide run at Marburg. In an open contest, he is worth a ticket.

DANCING IN MANOLOS (1) has been racing consistently and lines up here with a top-3 at 7 of her past 9 outings. Breaking her maiden at Marburg 2 starts back when able to take control and walk them early, she followed that with the bronze from inside the 2nd line. The gate is in her favour.

CAM YOU FEEL IT (5) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 3rd up from a break. Not looking entirely comfortable in the early stages he was sound to the line when mid-field behind JINGLES BROMAC. If he can put it together, he can feature.

TRENTLEIGH (7) found the front prior to releasing last start and then held on for the silver behind BETTOR WATCH HIM. With an economical trip here, he can be searching for the openings.

SELECTIONS: RITCHIE BEE (8), DANCING IN MANOLOS (1), CAM YOU FEEL IT (5), TRENTLEIGH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: RITCHIE BEE (8) to win

RACE SIX

EYE SEE DOUBLE (1) will need to hustle out of the machine here, but protecting the inside can see him look to control the scamper. Fitter following his last outing when having just his 2nd run since December, he closed in good order behind the winner SEA HAWKE. A winner here 1st up back in Feb in good style, he looks the one to beat.

DASHING HANNAH (3) might just have the early burn to put it to them and if able to clear, will take some catching over the short course. Striking trouble and choking off here 2 starts back, she set a good tempo in front when grabbed in the latter stages, the speed looks on early here.

LETHAL STAR (4) shoots for a hat-trick after wins at Marburg and then here over the 1780m last start. Working forward from gate 6 and rolling he sleeves, she packed too many guns from the breeze to claim a 2m victory. Look for her to just keep coming if the speed is too hot.

SELECTIONS: EYE SEE DOUBLE (1), DASHING HANNAH (3), LETHAL STAR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: EYE SEE DOUBLE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

The first 2YO race of the season at Redcliffe has thrown up an open event where the 1st starter from the Dixon stable, DYNAMIC DAN (5) can start his career with a win. A son of Sportswriter that is a half-brother to the former top-liner Pub Blitz, he trialled nicely in preparation for his debut.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (2) has shown good gate speed in previous starts at The Creek and from the good gate and back to the smaller track, might just be able to use that to her advantage. 1st up last time for the new stable following a barn switch and with 3 weeks between runs, she stays under watch.

A RAINBOW DANCER (1) made a mess of things on debut at AP and came in down the line. She had trialled nicely in readiness for that and with the good gate can search for atonement here.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (3) is the most experienced ‘baby’ in the field, having been to the races on 5 occasions, returning 2 minor placings. Finding early position can see her in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DYNAMIC DAN (5), BAILEYS WITH LEGS (2), A RAINBOW DANCER (1), TORQUE IN CONTROL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DYNAMIC DAN (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (5) hasn’t been far away at his past 2 starts after winning over this trip 3 starts back. Proving too strong form outside the leader in that contest, he was run down in the closing stages at his next appearance when leading them up. The gate hurts, but he can tough it out.

CANNAN (3) has places on a further 2 occasions since winning his 2nd race here 5 starts back. Finishing over the top to claim the prize in a blanket finish on that occasion, he was sound to the line here last start over the longer 2040m trip. Settling handy from this gate, he can challenge.

GO ANNE GO (7) has been close up in each of her starts since arriving in Qld and with an even stroke of luck from this gate, is in the mix. A passing lane 3rd last time which followed a Trot Rods heat 2nd, she will be probing.

WHATA STRIDE (4) was finding the line nicely last start to get within a head of the winner. Buried away in the run the start prior, she was closing strongly to grab the silver and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (5), CANNAN (3), GO ANNE GO (7), WHATA STRIDE (4)
SUGGESTED BET:
