RACE TWO

A RAINBOW DELIGHT (4) returns from a let up after her last start midfield finish when within 5m of the winner MAYWYNS COURAGE. Only 5m from MISS RUBY SUNSHINE in a strong mares event 2 starts back, she opened the pipes in stylish fashion at Redcliffe for this outing and looks hard to stop.

VENUS JUJON (2) was shooting for a hat-trick of wins last start when buried away on the poles in a strong mares race claimed by SAUCY DREAMS. Making the closing shot a winning one over the 2138m here 2 starts back, it followed a gritty win from the breeze at Redcliffe. She looms as the main challenger.

TOANUI SPIRIT (1) was sent to the breeze last start and after the tough run was unable to see it out in a mares qualifier as WICKED AZZ took the prize. The inside gate aids her podium hopes here.

FEARLESS FAITH (7) was returning from a spell when making an error that has seen her banished to the outside draw. Taking some benefit from that outing, the smaller field suits.

SELECTIONS: A RAINBOW DELIGHT (4), VENUS JUJON (2), TOANUI SPIRIT (1), FEARLESS FAITH (7)
SUGGESTED BET: A RAINBOW DELIGHT (4) to win

RACE THREE

REDRIVERDEBBA (1)
took on a much stronger open Trot last start when starting from this same lane and taking a trail over the 2138m trip. Fighting on to claim the bronze, she was 11m from the winner MUSCULUS. Grinding it out in tough fashion the start prior over this trip, she looks to be well-placed.

MELPARK MAGIC (3) has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings, with 3 minors and a win from his past 4 starts. Looming up strongly here on Tuesday, he was only a head from the winner after starting from the 20m tape. Taking them all the way here 2 starts back, he can throw it down.

KRAZE (7) was sent to the post deep into the sauce last start from a 30m tape over the 2138m. Settling rearward, he was charging home to get within a half-neck of the winner to grab the bronze. A big winner at successive starts prior to the 3rd placing, he looms large here and is a big player.

ORLANDO JOLT (5) started from 30m here on Tuesday and was at the rear of the main pack as the field settled into single file. Closing out strongly to be 2m away, he can look to feature again here.

SELECTIONS: REDRIVERDEBBA (1), MELPARK MAGIC (3), KRAZE (7), ORLANDO JOLT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Interesting contest prevailing here where there a few that have been out of form or struggling to remain error free. One of those is FAIRIESDELIGHT (7) that has made a mess of the start at 2 of her past 3 outings. On both of those she was from the 2nd line and sandwiched in between was a win from the outside front line. Back to the front again here, if the manners arrive, so can she.

PETITE PAREE (5) has proven an enigma of recent time and been banished to the trials in 2 of her past 3 starts. Doing everything right last start from the 2nd line at Redcliffe, she had been meeting far superior opposition in the starts prior. Maintaining gait, she can throw down a challenge in this grade.

GOALKICKER (2) tackled a mares qualifier last start when trying to take them all the way but her race was done by the home turn. Digging in to finish midfield, she can fire off the arm and will be gripping on.

MISS MONEYBAGS (6) was much sharper last start when probing for the gaps and finishing stoutly to be within 5m of the winner JINGLES BROMAC. She should appreciate this line-up and is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: FAIRIESDELIGHT (7), PETITE PAREE (5), GOALKICKER (2), MISS MONEYBAGS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FAIRIESDELIGHT (7) to win

RACE SIX

MAGGIE (1)
was luckless last time out in a mares qualifier when taking the trail but losing all momentum when the leader was under pressure before the turn. Charging home along the passing lane the start prior to grab the bronze, she was only 1m away 3 starts back. With better luck she can arrive.

BARKWAY ARNOLD (6) will be looking to remain undefeated in Qld after going 2 for 2 with wins at Marburg and then here at The Creek last start. Settling back in the pack last time out, he charged home to claim a stylish win and putting up a big margin. The gate stings but the threepeat is attainable.

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (9) eased from gate 5 last start before finishing over the top of them to claim victory 2nd up in Qld. Unsuited when 1st up, he can be chiming in again.

BONNIES A ROCKIN (4) fired off the arm last start when looking to take them all the way. Unable to see it out, she held on for 3rd behind ROYAL OBSESSION. Too strong in front at Redcliffe the start prior, she can feature again.

SELECTIONS: MAGGIE (1), BARKWAY ARNOLD (6), IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (9), BONNIES A ROCKIN (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MAGGIE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

MOHS EM DOWN (2)
has been running some strong races recently, the most recent when locked away against the poles from inside the 2nd line. Taken back from gate 5 the start prior, he attacked the line strongly in the closing stages to be just 1.5m from the winner NIMAH FRANCO. With the improved gate, he gets every chance to capitalise.

SO KOOL MASTER (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon pegged away 3 back and searching for the gaps. Unable to find the space to have a crack at them, he was still within 4m of the winner. Beaten by gate 6 the start prior over this trip, he can get the right trip to challenge.

FOND MEMORIES (4) will take great benefit from her latest outing when resuming from a spell and proving too strong to claim a mares qualifier. The gate might be a little tricky, but she is in the mix.

BEE GEES BANDIT (8) started from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start when finishing 9m from the winner COURAGEOUS SAINT. Not much went his way here 2 starts back and with 2nd line options can feature.

SELECTIONS: MOHS EM DOWN (2), SO KOOL MASTER (1), FOND MEMORIES (4), BEE GEES BANDIT (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

The Dixon stable hold a strong hand in this APG heat with 6 of the 10 from the States leading barn. He comes up with a tricky gate but BOMBADIER JUJON (6) could have the right conditions here to cash-in. Closing in nice order from back in the pack last start behind OUR UNCEL JIM, he was midfield 2 starts back. There should be some nice tempo to suit the swoop.

ADAM CROCKER (3) makes his Qld debut for Chantal Turpin, arriving a last start winner in South Australia when leading throughout to a big victory. Given a solid hit out at the trials to prepare, he was game behind A RAINBOW DELIGHT in smart time. With the good gate he can look to take advantage 1st up.

MUMMYS BOY (9) returns to Qld to the Charlie Cini yard after campaigning in Victoria. Grabbed in the latter stages last start at Swan Hill, his win 4 starts back in slick time at Bendigo was a smart effort and he is right in the fight.

GOOD AS IT GETS (8) had a solid dip for the lamp lighting duties last start that were repelled. In for the fight, it was a game 2nd that had followed a strong close out when resuming from a freshen. He will be probing here.

SELECTIONS: BOMBADIER JUJON (6), ADAM CROCKER (3), MUMMYS BOY (9), GOOD AS IT GETS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BOMBADIER JUJON (6) to win
