RACE TWO

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (1) will strip fitter following his return from a spell and comes up with the perfect gate 2nd up. Easing from gate 5 when 1st up, he had the closing power to put them away in claiming a smart 3m victory. With the options here, he looks set to go back-to-back.

VOODOO FELLA (4) was snagged back at release from gate 6 here last week and from back in the pack made a sustained closing sprint to arrive for a smart win. 7m from the winner VENUS JUJON the start prior, he can settle close enough to the action to make a challenge here.

FOUR FOR FOUR (8) will take benefit from her latest outing hen returning from a spell. Easing early, she was wide off the track when trailing them in. Fitter for the run, she can be sharper in this.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9) held the pocket trail last start from gate 1 when finishing 7m in arrears of the winner DENNINGTON HEIGHTS. Pegged away the start prior, he can be chiming in late here.

There is a chance that LIFEINHEAVEN (7) is locked away 3 back against the poles here, but she has won from that position before and has the closing speed to arrive again here. Chasing home behind KATACHA MAN last start after doing some early work, she can be ready to take her shot in this.

NON PASSARE (2) was beaten by the 2nd line here last start when back in the pack and never really eating into the deficit. Closing strongly here 2 starts back to grab the bronze when within 1.5m of the winner, he can settle close to the action here to make his challenge.

SUGGESTED BET: LIFEINHEAVEN (7)

RACE FIVE

It may have taken 49 starts to break the maiden tag, but CRIME BOSS (9) has ben able to go bang, bang in both starts since the breakthrough and will line up here looking to secure 4 on the bounce. Powering home over the top of them last start to claim a strong victory, he can overcome the gate again.

SHEZ GOT BLING (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out and tried to make a closing play when runner-up to CRIME BOSS and finishing 9m in arrears. Beaten by the tempo the start prior when retreating from gate 5 to secure position, she can get in behind the speed here to challenge.

BEYOND A SHADOW (4) has been around the cash with a top-two at her past 4 in succession including a narrow victory at The Creek 3 runs back. Gunned down in front last start at Marburg, she has podium claims.

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (5) has no favours from this alley, with the gate hurting her chances at her past 2 outings also. 3rd to WOODLANDS WONDER here 3 runs back, she can chime in late in this.

SUGGESTED BET: CRIME BOSS (9) to win

RACE SIX

MANOFLISA (9)
is in great touch and lines up to make it 4 in succession and with a different rub of the green could be looking for 6 on the bounce after only being a head and a neck away his previous 2 outings. Overcoming gate 8 here last time to score a 3m victory, he can chalk up another one here.

RAYONG PRINCESS (2) did some early work last time out over the AP mile when trying to find a forward position when but could not go on with it as MANOFLISA scored. Fighting gamely when 6m away after doing all the work in the run the start prior, she can look to control this and be gripping on.

GHOST GUM (1) stepped to the front last start in a Goldstrike heat at Marburg but did not have any answers to them in the latter stages. With an economical trip from this gate, he can feature.

RISKY BUZINESS (7) will appreciate a return to mobile start conditions after facing the tapes at Marburg at his past 2 starts. An all the way winner 3 runs back, he will be probing for openings.

RACE SEVEN

GIGANTIC JASPER (7)
will need some factors in his favour from this alley, but with the right scenario can be ready to make the closing shot a winner. 3rd from the pocket trail ere 2 runs back, he could have been much closer if finding the gaps with momentum. In an open contest, he can arrive.

PRIVATE JUJON (5) eased from gate 4 to secure position last start before making a strong closing challenge to arrive over the top of them to take the prize. Working home in good order the start prior to grab 3rd, he has no favours from the wide gate but can be finishing strongly in this.

CATCH THE BOUQUET (8) showed good hustle from gate 5 here last time out to take control over the 1780m trip and with a steady opening half had the power to hold on. She is right in the fight.

RACE EIGHT

ELLE JAY (2)
started fav from gate 1 on Sunday at Marburg and after showing early speed, had control out in front. Trying to fight them off, she was unable to repel the closing challenge of REDDY FIRE and had to be content with the silver. Her record here is not the best, but she looks to get every chance.

MUSTANG DUDE (7) settled in the running line from a 2nd line gate here last start and with a steady opening half set from the front, he was able to hit the line soundly to grab the silver when 6m in arrears of the winner. With the easy trip against the poles, he can be probing to join in here.

RACE NINE

The tactics in this race look intriguing with the main players all drawing tricky barriers. HURRIKANE HOUR (6) has been in nice touch with a top-two at his past 4 in succession, the latest when chasing home behind KISSESFORYAMISSES. If he can stay in front of his main dangers, he might just hold on.

CAPTAINS PICK (7) faces the tricky gate but if finding space in time, can take this. Given a freshen since his latest outing when fading after a tough run in the breeze behind DANCE IN THE SUN, it followed a half-neck 2nd to JINGLES BROMAC. With a strong Redcliffe record, he looms large.

GLITTER STRIP (9) was a winner here 2 starts back when pressing forward to take control and then holding them all off. Gunned down last start, the 2nd line does not help but he is in the mix.

PRINCESS CHILLA (1) was returning from a spell last time out when making an error that saw her banished to the trials. Earning the return ticket, she can secure the right trip in behind the speed here and with the economical trip be ready to make the closing shot a winner.
