RACE TWO

GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (7) is in great touch and last start completed a hat-trick of victories when claiming the Marburg Goldstrike series with a win from the 20m handicap. That followed a sizzling heat win of that Series when scorching the last 800m in front. Despite the tricky gate, this is within reach.

GOTTA MOMENT (9) was angled to the pegs here last time out from the 2nd line and buried in the run, never really got into the contest as COURAGEOUS SAINT arrived. Not much went his way the start prior from a wide gate behind OUR MADIBA but with better luck here, he can chime in.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (4) has been hitting the line strongly in his races and on Saturday night had no luck at all when searching for gaps that never opened. With a smart record here at Redcliffe, he has podium claims.

LETTERKENNY BOY (5) steps out for Daren Garrard for the 1st time following a stable switch. Strong late in a recent trial to open the pipes, the gate is a stinger, but he can feature here fresh.

SELECTIONS: GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (7), GOTTA MOMENT (9), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (4), LETTERKENNY BOY (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

HUNTAWAY (1)
tried to take them all the way last start over this trip when sent to the post as favourite but was unable to see it out when gunned down. Grabbed in the closing strides by DENNINGTON HEIGHTS the start prior, he has the gate and with less pressure can see this one out.

VOODOO FELLA (7) eased from gate 6 here 2 starts back and from back in the pack was able to finish over the top of them to claim a smart win. Closing strongly again last start, he was able to grab the silver, albeit share it in a dead-heat behind ONE OFF. He will be probing for openings from this gate.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (8) angled to the pegs last start from the 2nd line and then had the closing speed to arrive along the passing lane for the prize. 5m in arrears his previous 2, he can chime in.

CAMROLLER (3) held the pocket trail last start and was angled wider to finish with the silver after the winner came from behind him, beaten a neck. Racing well of late, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: HUNTAWAY (1), VOODOO FELLA (7), CHANCELESS CENTURY (8), CAMROLLER (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

MAFFIOSO GIRL (1) capitalised on a good gate at Marburg 2 starts back when sent forward to take control and take them all the way, cruising home to a big 16m winning margin. She struck trouble last start that ended her chances and with this gate, gets the opportunity to bounce back.

LA PISTOLA (7) started from the five-hole last start when sent forward in the early stages to create the space to drop into the trail. Needing space that did not arrive in time and hampered his momentum, it followed a 3rd when only 1m away. He can be ready to make the closing challenge.

JOVIAL JULIE (9) has hit the board at her past 5 in succession, the latest when sent forward to face the breeze from gate 6. Grinding it out to be 4m from the winner, she can feature again in this.

DEVOUGED (4) settled in the running line from gate 9 last start and was trying to eat into the deficit when finishing in 3rd behind SIGNOR JUJON. With even luck in transit, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MAFFIOSO GIRL (1), LA PISTOLA (7), JOVIAL JULIE (9), DEVOUGED (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MAFFIOSO GIRL (1) to win

RACE FIVE

A race where the extra trip up to the 2040m might sort a few of these out. Although facing the tough gate, GOJOE (6) might just have found a race despite some poor numbers next to his name. All 4 of his career wins have been here at Redcliffe and while he could not work into last start, he can be an improver.

CONDAFEW (7) will be relying on some factors in his favour but if he can get to the passing lane with momentum, he can be looking to challenge in the stretch. Taken to Narrabri last start when 5m from the winner, he was hitting the line soundly for the bronze here the start prior.

CRIME BOSS (8) was looking to make it 4 on the bounce last start when sent to the post as fav from gate 9. Settling at the rear, he was too far back and did not get warm when a 6m 2nd. He can feature in this.

RISKY BUZINESS (1) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins at here over the 1780m. Taking them all the way last start, it followed a passing lane win and he is in the mix from this gate.

SELECTIONS: GOJOE (6), CONDAFEW (7), CRIME BOSS (8), RISKY BUZINESS (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

CAPTAINS PICK (7)
was resuming from a freshen here last week when easing from this same gate to work into the running line. Making a wide and sustained run, he closed over the top of them to breakthrough for his 1st win of the season. With the confidence, he can look to arrive once again.

WHICH HUNT (1) will take good benefit from her return from a long break when forced to race tough here last time out. Sent to the breeze, she did not shirk the task over the 2040m and only faded in the closing stages. Back to the sprint trip from this gate, she gets her chance to challenge.

GLITTER STRIP (8) pressed on to take control here 3 starts back and once in front had the power to hold them off. Hitting the line strongly last start, the pegs could be a play here and he has podium claims.

FOUR FOR FOUR (3) was 1st up from a spell here last start when trying to work into the contest wide off the track. Trialling since that effort, she can be sharper in this to fill the minors.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAINS PICK (7), WHICH HUNT (1), GLITTER STRIP (8), FOUR FOR FOUR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-7-8

RACE SEVEN

MANOFLISA (6)
has been hitting some nice areas in this grade with 3 wins and also finishing runner-up on 3 occasions in his past 6 outings. Working hard in the run when sent forward from the 2nd line last start, he went down swinging when only a half-head away. Despite the gate he can arrive.

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (4) faded last start after being required to work in the run and trailed the field home. Placed at her previous 2 starts here, she was only a head away 3 runs back and the next start struck trouble in the run when running into 3rd. With early speed, she can throw it down fresh.

REDDY FIRE (1) finished over the top of them last start at Marburg to claim a win at big odds. He will need to hustle early here, but looms a podium hope from the good alley.

FAMOUS SHOES (8) found his race last start when working home over the top of them from the 2nd line to take the prize. Only 3m in arrears the start prior, he is in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: MANOFLISA (6), MIDNIGHT QUEEN (4), REDDY FIRE (1), FAMOUS SHOES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MANOFLISA (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

ELLE JAY (5)
showed good speed out of the machine last start to take control from gate 2 and once dictating was never in danger to complete an effortless 9m victory. In the money at 6 of her 10 outings this season, the wide gate hurts but limiting the burn in sliding forward can look for the repeat.

MUSTANG DUDE (6) has no favours from the wide gate here but can be suited if securing position cheaply. Runner-up here 2 starts back when working home from the 2nd line to be 6m from the winner, he is still searching for his 1st win in Qld.

CHEYENNE AUTUMN (1) was sent to the post as fav last start but had no answer to them when trailing the field home. Only a half-head away 3 starts back, the gate is a big plus for this.

KID CALVERT (3) held the pocket trail from gate 1 last start when chasing home to be mid-field behind ELLE JAY. Placed his previous 3 in succession, he can settle close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (5), MUSTANG DUDE (6), CHEYENNE AUTUMN (1), KID CALVERT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ELLE JAY (5) to win

RACE NINE

A race made a little questionable by the fact that the main chances all step out to the 2040m trip for the first time. A smart winner last start, SHES MISS DEVINE (6) was 1st up from a spell and proved too classy in leading throughout. Runner-up in the Triad 2 starts back at her last run as a 2YO, she can look for a repeat win.

RINGOS A STAR (5) has been in the money at 4 of his 6 starts, including a win here 2 starts back from gate 5 when scoring despite making errors in the run. Placed in both starts since resuming, he will strip fitter from his latest outing when 6m from SHES MISS DEVINE. He can make a challenge.

OUR BOY BOBBY (8) was sent around them from the 2nd line last start to get outside the leader and doing it the tough way proved too strong. Another 2nd line gate does him no favours, but he cannot be ignored.

ROYAL PRINCESS (7) takes her first look at the longer trip after finishing runner-up at her past 2 starts. 2m from SHES MISS DEVINE last start, she will be searching for a way clear here.

SELECTIONS: SHES MISS DEVINE (6), RINGOS A STAR (5), OUR BOY BOBBY (8), ROYAL PRINCESS (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (3) led them up last start but was unable to see it out when nabbed in the closing stages to be 8m in arrears of the winner in holding 3rd. That had followed a much tougher assignment at headquarters and with the good alley, she might have found her chance to breakthrough.

COLDMOUNTAIN KATEY (2) is a 5YO mare on debut for Grant Dixon by Lonestar Legend. Taking on much more experienced rivals in a recent trial to qualify, she has shown enough that in this line-up she can challenge first up.

GO AWAY (7) showed early hustle last start when sent to the post as fav but had to settle for the silver when 6m in arrears of the winner. Needing a slice of luck from this alley, she will be probing.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (4) will take some benefit from her latest start when resuming from a break. 1st up since November, it was a sound effort and with even luck she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: BAILEYS WITH LEGS (3), COLDMOUNTAIN KATEY (2), GO AWAY (7), VALKYRIE HANOVER (4)
SUGGESTED BET:
