RACE TWO

RITCHIE BEE (2) does his best work up near the pointy end in his races and has the opportunity here to get to the front and from there would get his chance. Forced to retreat last start, he was midfield which followed an unsuitable 2nd line gate. 5m from SIR JUJON here 3 starts back, he can dictate.

SHEFEELINPRECIOUS (1) has just the 1 win here from 43 attempts but has placed in 2 of her past 3 outings here on The Triangle. Searching for the gap that did not present last start at Marburg from inside the 2nd line, she can look for the trail over the 2040m here to make a closing play.

COBBLER LANE (5) slid across to find the 1x1 trail last start and was thereabouts as REGAL NIGHTSHADE took the prize. Hitting the line strongly in the closing stages when only a head away, he can feature in this line-up.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (7) will need a slice of luck from this alley to find the space to make an offering. Forced to work hard in the run last start when cutting the breeze, he will be probing here.

SELECTIONS: RITCHIE BEE (2), SHEFEELINPRECIOUS (1), COBBLER LANE (5), IMA BIRUBI BOY (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

WHATELEY (8)
started from outside the front line here 2 starts back when snagged back off the arm in the early stages. Making a solid run wide off the track, he was best of the chasers behind the winner LIVING FREE. Franking that effort when leading throughout here last time out, he can press through early to go back-to-back.

GIGANTIC JASPER (2) is moving closer to a win and from this gate can look to take his opportunity. Setting the speed last start, he was gunned down in the closing strides. 2 starts back he had to settle for the bronze from inside the 2nd line. With his early speed, he gets his chance to take this.
TICK OF THE CLOCK (1) was not suited last start at Marburg when ending up back in the pack from a 2nd line gate and wide off the track. Strong to the line 2 starts back, the inside gate is a big plus.

PACHWORK JET (6) has no favours from the wider gate but can look to be working home in the closing stages. A winner here 5 runs back from a 2nd line gate, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: WHATELEY (8), GIGANTIC JASPER (2), TICK OF THE CLOCK (1), PATCHWORK JET (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATELEY (8) to win

RACE FIVE

LITTTLELIONELJAMES (8) would ideally be better suited off the front line for this assignment, but he comes into this with strong form against some tougher opponents and has a smart record here on The Triangle. Spearing out from gate 7 at headquarters last start when holding on for the bronze, he can power over the top.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (2) started from gate 1 here last time out and sent to the post in red figures was looking to take them all the way. In front deep into the stretch, she could not repel LA PISTOLA in the closing stages. With the good alley, she can look to fight them off.

SWEET LOMBO (7) will need some factors in his favour here but if the gaps should arrive, he can be looking to make a closing play. Runner-up at his past 2 outings, he will be probing for openings.

HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (1) was luckless last start when searching for a way clear that never arrived when 5m in arrears of LA PISTOLA. With the economical trip he can be ready to strike in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: LITTTLELIONELJAMES (8), MAFFIOSO GIRL (2), SWEET LOMBO (7), HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTTLELIONELJAMES (8) to win

RACE SIX

QUALITY TIME (3)
only has the 1 win, but he may just have found the right conditions to add to that tally and spoil the Trent Hodges party. Not suited last start when easing from the 2nd line to the pegs and finishing down the line behind the talented DOCTA FEELGOOD. That followed a chasing effort behind LOVE YOUR WORK. He can press forward here and from the front give plenty of cheek.

STAR OF WONDER (5) is 1 of 5 Hodges trained runners in this race and comes into the battle with a last start victory when securing the prefect run in behind the leader before making the closing shot a winning one. Finding position cheaply will be key to his chances of going back-to-back.

ITS YOU NOT ME (7) is on the back-up from the Toowoomba Show on Friday and should enjoy a cosy run in behind the speed. Looking for space here last time out, he can make a play for the podium.

ARTISTIC HUMMA (8) was pegged away from inside the 2nd line last time out and was able to take inside runs to grab the bronze at big odds. Not suited when working hard the start prior, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: QUALITY TIME (3), STAR OF WONDER (5), ITS YOU NOT ME (7), ARTISTIC HUMMA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: QUALITY TIME (3) to win
