RACE TWO

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3) returned from a spell in fine order here 3 starts back when finishing over the top of them to claim the prize, defeating subsequent winner RINGOS A STAR. Meeting a stronger line-up 2nd up when 2nd to ONE OFF, he was not that far away last start. He looks tough to stop here.

GOLDEN SAND (6) made an error prior to the release last start at AP and was left chasing the gate and was then keen in transit when positioned on the poles. Gunned down in a 2nd division qualifier 2 starts back, he can press forward here and with the ability to work in the run can throw it down.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (1) has been freshened since her last outing when starting from the 2nd line and not that far from the subsequent winner ROCKNROLL DA GAMA. The gate is a big help for this.

SHEREACTS (7) has been kept fresh since her last appearance when scoring a gritty win from the breeze after being sent forward from the 2nd line. With the cosy trip on offer, she has place claims.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3), GOLDEN SAND (6), TORQUE IN CONTROL (1), SHEREACTS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3) to win

RACE THREE

PAGEANTRY (2)
was 2nd up in Qld last time out when settling back in the pack from gate 3 before finishing off in nice order to grab the bronze behind SHEZ GOT BLING. Forced to race tough when 1st up, he faded under the toll. The front line looks a little thin here and that gives him every chance.

MUSTANG DUDE (7) will be requiring a slice of luck in transit from this gate to find the space to make a charge. Gate 6 was his undoing last start when retreating early to position near the rear and then could not get into the contest. Runner-up here 3 starts back, he will be probing for a way clear.

MELTON MAX GENTLE (9) started from gate 4 last time out and found them out of reach when down the line behind CAPTAINS PICK. Grabbed in front 2 starts back, this looks more suitable.

BERTILS FIREFOX (8) worked to the front from gate 2 over the 2040m trip here 2 starts back and looked to dictate when finishing 4m in arrears of the winner. It did not go to plan last start and he has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: PAGEANTRY (2), MUSTANG DUDE (7), MELTON MAXX GENTLE (9), BERTILS FIREFOX (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PAGEANTRY (2) to win

RACE FIVE

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (4) has been thereabouts of late without looking a threat but may just have found the right race here. Firing out before releasing last start, he was 4m in arrears of the winner which followed successive 3rd placed returns. Settling close to the action, he can take his chance.

WEASEL (1) keeps on keeping on and lands the ace marble which should secure him an economical trip. From the pocket trail last start, he lost all chance when carted through the pack when the leader hoisted the white flag. Closing soundly the start prior from the 2nd line, he is in the fight.

SHEZ GOT BLING (7) settled back in the pack from her 2nd line gate last start before charging over the top of them to take the prize over the sprint trip. Runner-up to CRIME BOSS at this trip 3 starts back, she can be joining in.

TRACES OF TARA (3) resumes from a spell, sent for a breather after setting the speed and then wilting over the AP 2138m back in January. With early hustle she can press forward to feature here.

SELECTIONS: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (4), WEASEL (1), SHEZ GOT BLING (7), TRACES OF TARA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (4) to win

RACE SIX

CHUMP CHOP (2)
has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings and lines up here after finishing top-3 at his past 3 in succession. Pressing forward from the 2nd line to get outside the leader last start, he showed plenty of gristle to only go under by a head. A winner 3 starts back, he can grill them here.

CRIME BOSS (8) broke his maiden status and quickly converted that to a hat-trick of victories when powering home strongly from gate 6 to score here 3 starts back. Placed in both runs since, he was asked to do the work last start when sent to the breeze from the 2nd line when 5m in arrears. With the right early trail, he can challenge.

PERFECT FEELING (1) settled back in the field last time out from the 2nd line when wide off the track as THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS prevailed. 3m from the winner 2 starts back, he lands his best gate for some time and can take advantage.

MISS CATALINA (7) finished over the top of them to score wide off the track at Narrabri 2 starts back. Chasing hard when taking inside runs behind LIVING GRAND last time, she can be probing.

SELECTIONS: CHUMP CHOP (2), CRIME BOSS (8), PERFECT FEELING (1), MISS CATALINA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE SEVEN

PACIFIC COIN (2)
was last in victory lane here back in January when leading throughout from this same gate at the sprint trip. Game in defeat last start when facing the breeze and only wilting late to be 5m in arrears of the winner, he should secure an easy lead here and from the front will be tough to roll.

SIR JUJON (4) was looking to make it a hat-trick of victories when given a sot in a qualifier last time out. From gate 2, he secured cover and was sound to the line as LOMBO HEAVEN arrived. That followed successive wins here at Redcliffe over the 1780m and securing position cheaply can see him throw it down late.

DARBY BRIGHTS (1) has been given a slight freshen since her last appearance in a heat of the Marburg Goldstrike. Not that far from the action in recent outings, the gate is a big plus here.

SUBTLE ADVICE (8) was a winner here 4 starts back when settling in the 1x1 trail from this same gate over the 1780m trip and proving too slick at the end. With a similar trail, he can be looking to join in.

SELECTIONS: PACIFIC COIN (2), SIR JUJON (4), DARBY BRIGHTS (1), SUBTLE ADVICE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PACIFIC COIN (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

GOALKICKER (2)
should appreciate a return to The Triangle from the good alley to utilise her early speed. 8m from the winner last start at The Creek after settling in the pocket trail, it followed a midfield finish when lighting the lamps before being claimed in the stretch. The past 4 times she has led on this track she has won and that looks the scenario here.

ASHLEE NITRO (5) is a winner at 3 of her past 4 starts, the latest when finishing over the top of them after being pegged away over the 2040m. Shooting for the hat-trick 2 starts back, she was giving to the wire when only beaten a half-neck and despite the wide gate here will be attacking the line late.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (8) started from this alley 2 starts back when angled to the pegs and then staying to the inside had too much in the tank in the closing stages. Trailing through, he can join in.

IMFEELINGIT (9) was a winner when able to lead them all the way here 2 starts back over the sprint trip and running a smart closing half. Striking trouble last start, he can be looking for the podium.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (2), ASHLEE NITRO (5), CHANCELESS CENTURY (8), IMFEELINGIT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: GOALKICKER (2) to win

RACE NINE

COURAGEOUS LEO (7) will be reliant on some factors falling in his favour but under the right scenario, he can be dressed and ready to dance up the passing lane. Searching for runs that saw him dart back to the lane last start and finish best to score, he has been a winner on the Show circuit since and just needs the momentum.

SUKI DAYO (2) started from gate 5 last time out when eased to the rear and go searching for some luck and short-cuts. Down the line the start prior over the AP mile, it did not really go to plan in that contest. From the good alley she can settle close to the action and be ready to make a challenge.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (5) has a pair of wins in his past 4 starts, the latest coming when eased from a wide gate to the pegs before finishing best to claim a smart win. With a similar trip, he can chime in.

WITH AUTHORITY (1) has ticked over 12 months since he last tasted success, but the conditions here look in is favour. With early hustle he can keep them wide and give plenty of cheek of this alley.

SELECTIONS: COURAGEOUS LEO (7), SUKI DAYO (2), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (5), WITH AUTHORITY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: COURAGEOUS LEO (7) win/place

RACE TEN

MARK OF INTEGRITY (8) did some early work before cover arrived last start and was sound to the line in a sharp closing panel as COURAGEOUS SAINT landed the loot. Locked away from inside the 2nd line the start prior, he should settle in a handy spot here and look to break his Redcliffe duck with a closing play.

COREY WILLIAM (2) started in red figures last start from gate 2 over this trip and was soon pegged away in the run and in all sorts of bother. Rearward as COURAGEOUS SAINT landed the prize, he wilted badly the start prior over the 2138m. From this gate, he gets every chance to take control and turn it around.

CAPTAIN KIRK (5) has now been to the track 4 times since arriving in Qld, the latest when easing from gate 6 and facing a task as KURAHAUPO GAMBLER was dealing in front. He looks a place hope here.

LETTERKENNY BOY (7) was 1st up for the new stable last start when eased from gate 5 to secure position before hitting the line solidly over the closing stages to grab the silver. He will be locked away but can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: MARK OF INTEGRITY (8), COREY WILLIAM (2), CAPTAIN KIRK (5), LETTERKENNY BOY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MARK OF INTEGRITY (8) to win
