Racing Queensland's annual Greyhound Sweepstakes at the Brisbane Exhibition on Sunday has yet again proved popular among industry participants and the general public.

About 40 greyhounds and handlers participated in the event, which aims to give showgoers a glimpse into how greyhounds are cared for post-racing.

Staff from the QRIC Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) were also in attendance, offering people the chance to meet, pat and have a photo with a friendly greyhound.

Racing Queensland Chief Operations Officer Adam Wallish said the event was enjoyed by all.

"I must congratulate stakeholders for once more supporting this wonderful opportunity to showcase the love our participants have for their greyhounds," he said.

Judge John Palmer, who has been showing dogs since 1975, awarded prizes across multiple categories.

Racing Queensland made prize money available for the RNA to pay winners upon judging.

The award for Best of Breed (Neutered) went to Toni Potter's 'Sandy' (Sharkiaya).

Best of Breed (Entire) went to Sidney Goodwin's 'T Rex' (Master Corasair).
