RACE TWO

After looking to get the perfect conditions last start COREY WILLIAM (9) was a touch on the disappointing side last start when 3rd, beaten 1.5m. Setting the tempo over the mile he was collared in the stretch. Despite the 2nd line, he meets easier opposition here and with a handy record on the triangle gets his chance to atone.

CIRCLE LINE (3) sat in the pocket trail behind COREY WILLIAM on Friday but just didn’t have the same zip in the closing stages, beaten 7m. Luckless the start prior, he can use his early speed to advantage here and fitter for the last start after returning from a freshen, will be trying to fight them off.

INVITE ONLY (10) took on a mares qualifier last start from gate 8 and was hitting the line in good style when mid-field to ROYAL STORY. 3rd to VASARI here 2 starts back, she will be charging home.

FEEL THE REIGN (7) will be needing plenty of luck from this gate, but if the gaps arrive, he will be finishing hard. Holding on for the bronze to RUTHLESS ARMBRO last start, he is in the mix if the gaps open.

SELECTIONS: COREY WILLIAM (9), CIRCLE LINE (3), INVITE ONLY (10), FEEL THE REIGN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: COREY WILLIAM (9) to win

RACE THREE

In a race where the early map could be all-important to the hopes of a few of these, the chances of MONUMENTAL (7) fit squarely in that scenario. With the 1 looking to lead throughout, he should be able to get the perfect trip and aim up for the passing lane. Arriving for the prize last start, he is worth the chance here.

DOLLARBILL (10) has been facing some tough gates in recent starts and receives no favours again here from gate 10. Sent to the pegs at AP 2 starts back and looking for luck, he wasn’t too far away and then last start, was trying to make ground in a last panel scamper. He is not without hope here.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1) might need to hustle in the early stages to protect the poles here, but if able to take up the lead with limited pressure can look to fight them off. 6m from CAESARS ASTRUM 2 starts back, she was game in the breeze last start and can fight here.

STUDLEIGH WILL (8) might just get his chance here if the early tempo sets it up for the swoopers to arrive. Forced to grind it out last start when a 4m 3rd, he is in contention against this line-up.

SELECTIONS: MONUMENTAL (7), DOLLARBILL (10), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1), STUDLEIGH WILL (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

ALL GOOD WALLY (7)
will be relying on some factors to fall his way here, but following out a good beginner, he should enjoy an economical trip and be ready to strike when the gaps open. Snagged back last start, he then moved forward to the breeze in the middle stages. He just needs the gaps.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (6) used her good early speed last start to find the pegs from gate 3 but was never given any peace in front and faded in the latter stages. Chasing behind the in-form CAESARS ASTRUM 2 starts back, she faces a sticky alley here, but might just find this a shade easier.

KEARNEY LANE (1) will take benefit from her latest start when returning from a break. Sitting in the pocket trail her condition just faded late behind CAESARS ASTRUM. Fitter for the run she has claims.

ITS YOU NOT ME (2) made the most of the pocket trail to chase home for the bronze here 2 starts back. Retreating from gate 5 last start, he was too far back and settling closer here is an exotic hope.

SELECTIONS: ALL GOOD WALLY (7), FLASHING GOOD TIME (6), KEARNEY LANE (1), ITS YOU NOT ME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ALL GOOD WALLY (7) to win

RACE FIVE

MATRON JUJON (1) has been around the money in recent starts with a placing in 4 of her past 5 and strikes a race and a gate here to take full advantage. Rolling across from gate 3 over the 2040m last start, she loomed up prior to ZED CODE getting the passing lane to score. She looks to get every chance.

GUTS (7) sat in the pocket trail over the AP 2138m 2 starts back and was out to chase when 3m from the dictating winner CAPTAIN THUNDERBOLT. Buried away last start from his same alley, he will be sweating on the 1 looking to dictate and with that scenario looking likely, he will be ready to strike.

MISTER HART (10) has been runner-up at 2 of his past 3, the latest when attacking the line strongly to get within a head of the prize. Within 2m of BONNIE JUJON 3 back, he can be thereabouts.

KISS CAM (8) retreated from gate 6 last start over the sprint trip and then making a closing play finished best to arrive for a head victory. With the right early trip, he can chime in late here.

SELECTIONS: MATRON JUJON (1), GUTS (7), MISTER HART (10), KISS CAM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MATRON JUJON (1) to win

RACE SIX

BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (5) was forced to roll the sleeves last start when there was no lead after spearing across from gate 4. In for the fight she held on for the bronze behind the swooping MONUMENTAL. Taking them all the way over the AP mile 2 back, she can bounce back in this.

INDYS APPROVAL (9) pressed on to sit outside the leader here 3 starts back and proved too strong in clearing out to a big 15m victory. Not suited when working early in a hot tempo over the 2138m at her net start, she beat herself last time. This is an easier assignment and she can challenge.

REGALIA (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon away from the pegs and worked home in good order to grab the bronze. Buried away 2 starts back, he can get a nice trip here.

NON PASSARE (7) will be relying on some luck and looking to probe for openings in the stretch. Angling to the outside to grab 2nd after racing in the pocket trail last time, he has place claims.

SELECTIONS: BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (5), INDYS APPROVAL (9), REGALIA (1), NON PASSARE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

MISS LILY MAY (2) heads to the triangle for the 1st time looking to break the maiden tag after some nice runs thus far in her career. Fighting gamely to hold 3rd after working in the breeze 2 starts back, she can use her early speed here and if able to grab a breather in front, looks hard to stop.

BETTERTHANLEGO (10) will have the tricky gate to negotiate here as she looks for her 1st victory. Placed in all 3 career starts to date, the latest was when taking a trail from gate 1 and finishing 4m from the winner CAM YOU FEEL IT. With the right cart home, she can be in the thick of the action.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (3) has started fav at both career starts to date, the latest from gate 5 when 6m from the winner CAM YOU FEEL IT. With the added experience she can be around the money here.

MAYWYNS HONEY (9) makes her debut for Kelli Dawson and is a half-sister to the handy performer IMA TOP TYCOON. With a tidy trial to prepare for her 1st start, she stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: MISS LILY MAY (2), BETTERTHANLEGO (10), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (3), MAYWYNS HONEY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS LILY MAY (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

TODAYS HERO (6) resumes from a long break following a 4-start prep to kick off his career that yielded a win and 2 minors. Beaten 1m behind MONTANA CHIEF at his last start back in Nov of 2018, he has been to the trials twice to open the pipes, the latest a tidy hit out. Despite the gate this is within reach 1st up.

ALSJEANSMAXSSTAR (2) will take great experience from his debut here last week when leading them up and looking to go all the way. After securing some cheap early sections, he was grabbed in the latter stages, holding on for the silver. Using that good early speed, he can go one better.

MAC SWEENEY (1) lands the best gate of his career to date as he returns from a freshen. He found the line in good style 2 runs back when 2nd up and from the good gate should enjoy a nice run.

KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (7) was a tidy all the way winner in debut here 3 starts back. Following that with a 2nd when gunned down in the closing strides, she will enjoy a soft trip and can probe for gaps.

SELECTIONS: TODAYS HERO (6), ALSJEANSMAXSSTAR (2), MAC SWEENEY (1), KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

In a race that might be a bit easier than what she has been meeting, the 30m impost might not be too much of a concern for JUSTABITCOCO (7). Buried on the pegs last start she found the line in good order behind MAJESTIC COURTNEY. Her record on the triangle is strong and she gets a chance.

LAVROS SEGIL (4) will strip fitter from his latest outing when resuming from a long break. That was against a much stronger line-up when chasing home LAVROS TEXAS. With just the lone trial to prepare for the return, he can settle handy in the run from the 10m and the small field a plus.

GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (5) went to the pegs to save some metres last start when finishing mid-field. A tidy winner over the sprint trip here 2 starts back, he has place claims here.

DAENERYS STORMBORN (6) started fav here last time and struck trouble in the run that ended her chances. A winner at 50% of her runs here on the triangle with 5 from 10, she can bounce back.

SELECTIONS: JUSTABITCOCO (7), LAVROS SEGIL (4), GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (5), DAENERYS STORMBORN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JUSTABITCOCO (7) to win
