RACE TWO

MONUMENTAL (1) will shoot for the hat-trick after successive wins at the sprint and middle-distance trips here at Redcliffe. Making the most of the pocket trail last time out, he sprinted sharply once the gap opened to claim the prize. With the right trip on offer once again, he can arrive.

CONCENTRATION (8) returns from a freshen after a tough trip last time out when wide out and then working in the run. Chasing home behind the smart LIFES BLACK the start prior to grab the bronze, he can land in a handy position here and with even luck will be in the fight.

GUNNAREIGN (6) has the wide gate to overcome at her 1st run back from a let-up. Settling in the 1x1 trail last start, she was sound to the line against much stronger opponents. She can chime in here.

SPONDOOLEY (7) loves the soft trip against the pegs and will get the perfect conditions here from inside the 2nd line. Only beaten an eyelash 2 starts back, look for him slicing through on the pegs.

SELECTIONS: MONUMENTAL (1), CONCENTRATION (8), GUNNAREIGN (6), SPONDOOLEY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MONUMENTAL (1) to win

RACE THREE

GOALKICKER (8) found a cheap race here on Sun night and after a perfect trip in the pocket trail sprinted straight past them once the passing lane opened to claim an easy 7m victory. Her record here on the triangle is strong with a top-two in 7 of 10 appearances and this looks within reach.

DEADLY ROCKER (1) returns from a freshen and lands the perfect gate. Last seen back on Jul 4 when down the line off a 2nd line gate, his run 2 starts back was sound in slick time with LIFES BLACK clearing out to a big win. With the speed to fire the early shots and options, he won’t be far away.

ARBIT MAJOR (9) was stuck looking for position from the five hole last start and was forced to retreat before again coming wide. Despite again facing a sticky gate, he can be in the mix.

ONYAJANS (7) took on a mares event last start when doing her share of work in the run and finishing close up lost the bronze on protest. With the economical trip, look for her taking the inside runs.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (8), DEADLY ROCKER (1), ARBIT MAJOR (9), ONYAJANS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GOALKICKER (8) to win

RACE FOUR

In a race where all runners are looking to capture some form, it might just be DOLLARBILL (4) that is going the better at the moment and can capitalise. He struck some early trouble and lost stride for a brief period before res-setting and closing out in good order. Back into the main draw, he gets a chance.

DATSGOOD (2) returns from a spell without a public trial after a string of costly performances in recent starts. Well supported at her past 6 outings, her best return from those was a 6th placing. A handy mare when right, if the issues are sorted, she can flash her early speed and would have this within reach.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (8) returned a tidy effort last start when working home wide off the track when 8m from the winner ROWDYS ACE. With the right early trail, she can chime in late.

NICSTAR (5) hasn’t had the best of luck in recent starts as he still searches for a Qld breakthrough. Buried away against the markers at his past 2, with even luck he can be thereabouts against these.

SELECTIONS: DOLLARBILL (4), DATSGOOD (2), FLASHING GOOD TIME (8), NICSTAR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLARBILL (4) to win

RACE FIVE

HALF MOON BEACH (5) was a winner from this same gate here 2 starts back when sent to the front and taking control packed too many guns in claiming a big 14m victory. Off the 2nd line at Marburg last time, he circled them early and was only grabbed late, beaten 3m. He can look to take control.

CALL ME YOURS (4) has placed at her past 3 starts with the past 2 of those at Marburg. From the 2nd line last time out, she was attacking the line in good order against much stronger opposition when 2nd to CROWNING GLORY. With a top-three in more than 50% of her Redcliffe starts, she can feature.

IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (8) looked to take them all the way over the sprint trip here 2 starts back and was only grabbed in the closing stages by LETS DIG IT. With the right trip, she can place in this.

THE LAST DRAGON (2) made the most of his bets gate to lead throughout here 3 starts back. Not suited from wider gates in 2 runs since, he can breathe some early fire here and be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: HALF MOON BEACH (5), CALL ME YOURS (4), IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (8), THE LAST DRAGON (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HALF MOON BEACH (5) to win

RACE SIX

AINTNOBETTOR (3) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins at the 1780m trip and both when using the passing lane. Taking the sit on HEZ RAZOR SHARP last start, his closing moves were too slick in arriving in time. He steps up to the 2280m and despite the map being a query, he looks hard to stop.

PASS THE SPEIGHTS (1) was a passing lane winner here 3 starts back when making the most of the cheap run to arrive for a neck margin victory. 2 starts back he did plenty of work in the run when fading out and last start wasn’t far away. With the gate he looks to get his chance.

SUBTLE ADVICE (2) was locked away against the pegs here 2 starts back and found the line nicely to grab the silver. Chasing home behind AINTNOBETTOR last start, he can look for a cheap run and chime in here.

SELECTIONS: AINTNOBETTOR (3), PASS THE SPEIGHTS (1), SUBTLE ADVICE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: AINTNOBETTOR (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

SOMEDASH (6) has been runner-up at her past 2 starts when hitting the line strongly in the closing stages in each. Last start over the longer 2280m trip she went within a head of the winner from the 30m tape and the start prior was 6m in arrears over this trip. With even luck in transit she can arrive.

LAVROS SEGIL (4) will be further tightened from his latest start when 2nd up from a break. Settling in the 1x1 trail he was sound to the line behind POPCORN SUTTON. His 1st up start he found them a bit sharp when down the line behind LAVROS TEXAS, with this looking the right assignment to feature.

NO TRANSACTIONS (3) held on for the bronze at Marburg 2 starts back after taking on the 2200m mobile. Back to the same track last start, the run was full of merit and from the 10m is in the mix.

MONORAIL (5) switches barns and will line up for Lisa Bahr. His last start was a tidy effort behind NORAHS FLING and back to the 20m tape, he looks well-placed to chime into things here.

SELECTIONS: SOMEDASH (6), LAVROS SEGIL (4), NO TRANSACTIONS (3), MONORAIL (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

in a tricky contest to line up, it might be RANFURLY RULZ (5) that can look to overcome a tough map to arrive for the prize. Fitter now following 2 runs back off a brief let-up, he was forced to do plenty of work last start. A smart winner 3 back, the start prior to the freshen, he is worth a dabble in this.

BARA CHARLOTTE (9) was attacking the line strongly last start from the 2nd line at Tamworth and went within a head of victory. Locked away on the pegs here 2 starts back, she was within 5m of the winner and with even luck in transit, this would be well within reach.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (7) was sent forward to the breeze last start from gate 12 over the AP 2138m and faded after a tough trip. His previous 2 were good and with a rub of the green can chime in late.

COLOMBIAN GOLD (1) can look to capitalise on the good gate here and be sharper than her past 2 where she has just been left behind in the closing stages. With the options, she is an exotic hope.

SELECTIONS: RANFURLY RULZ (5), BARA CHARLOTTE (9), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (7), COLOMBIAN GOLD (1)
SUGGESTED BET: RANFURLY RULZ (5) to win

RACE NINE

BOPPIN THE BLUES (4) was having his 1st outing for the Dixon stable last start and just the 2nd of his career when finding the 1x1 trail. Chasing gamely for the bronze behind the all-the-way winner MISS LILY MAY, he will take good benefit from the run and can open his account here.

DUCHESS DOWNUNDER (2) returned a handy effort ton debut when taking cover from gate 1 and then using the passing lane to be 6m in arrears of the winner. That was a nice improvement from her qualifying trial and with the experience form the run can feature here.

DUSTY PLAINS (5) found the pegs 1st from gate 4 at Tamworth last start before opting for cover and then finishing with the silver when 4m from the winner. Placed in 2 of 4 career starts, she has claims.

MAYWYNS HONEY (1) was back in the pack at her race debut last week after starting form gate 9. With the race experience and the gate improvement, look for her to be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: BOPPIN THE BLUES (4), DUCHESS DOWNUNDER (2), DUSTY PLAINS (5), MAYWYNS HONEY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BOPPIN THE BLUES (4) to win
