RACE TWO

ARMA AUGUSTUS (9) sat back in the pack here last start and wit the leader dawdling though an opening half of 68.9, was content to sit back and wait. Making his run too late in grabbing 3rd, it had followed a strong win at the 2040m when proving too strong. He can bounce back here.

ILLBEWATCHING (2) started in red figures from gate 4 here last time out and with no lead available was able to snag into the trail. Losing momentum as the leader stalled, the race was gone when he finally saw space. An all the way winner the start prior, he can look to dictate to them here.

FAST IS BETTOR (7) held the pocket trail last start from this same gate and with the leader getting her to the passing lane, she had bullets to fire in landing the win. She may need a slice of luck here, but will be searching for the gaps.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) was not suited last start when forced to race tough and he could not see it out. With the opportunity for an easy trip, he can be probing to chime into the minors from this alley.

SELECTIONS: ARMA AUGUSTUS (9), ILLBEWATCHING (2), FAST IS BETTOR (7), ITS YOU NOT ME (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ARMA AUGUSTUS (9) to win

RACE THREE

STORM GILBERT (3) has placed at his past 3 starts, the most recent when leading until the stride that mattered most, beaten a pimple. The start prior from gate 4 he rolled forward to cut the breeze and was grinding hard to get within a head of the winner. With the opportunity to take control, this looks within his grasp.

MYKINDOFFEELING (7) was building towards a victory after 3 successive placed efforts. Starting in red figures from gate 5 here 2 starts back, she chased gamely for the bronze when 7m in arrears of the in-form GOJOE. Sent forward from the 2nd line last start to score a smart maiden breaking win, she just needs a slice of luck to challenge.

CHRISKEN COUNTRY (4) went to the pegs from gate 9 last start and was searching for the short-cuts when mid-field behind JACKBKWIK. Not too far away in recent starts, she can be probing.

TURN TURN FLYER (5) settled in the pocket trail last start and was within 3m of the winner CAM YOU FEEL IT. Fighting gamely the start prior when working hard, he can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: STORM GILBERT (3), MYKINDOFFEELING (7), CHRISKEN COUNTRY (4), TURN TURN FLYER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: STORM GILBERT (3) to win

RACE FOUR

ROCKNTINGIRA (9)
comes up with the tough gate here again after facing some sticky gates in recent outings. Ending up in the breeze last start, it was not the place to be with a slick tempo and he faded under the tough trip. Tough in the breeze the start prior at Marburg, with some early tempo he can arrive.

CAM YOU FEEL IT (3) was building towards a victory, having placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, including a fast closing 2nd when within a nose hair of the win. Finding the right conditions last start, he finished best to arrive for the prize with even sections throughout. From the gate he can challenge.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (5) found his race last start and from this same gate was sent forward. Wrestling away control, he was never in danger once in front in scoring a 6m victory. He can look to repeat.

JAMAICAN RESORT (7) faces a tough gate as he lines up searching for a hat-trick of wins. Taking them all the way in each win, he will be probing for open space and needs a slice of luck.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNTINGIRA (9), CAM YOU FEEL IT (3), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (5), JAMAICAN RESORT (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (8) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried away and was keen in the run. Closing nicely when he did sight some space, it followed a tidy effort over the AP mile. From this gate he can find a handy spot in transit and is worth a chance to land the loot.

MELTON LUCKY (3) has been racing in consistent fashion in recent outings, in the money at his past 6 in succession. Easing from gate 5 last start, he was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages to get within a half-head of the win. Tough in the breeze when successful 3 starts back, he can throw down the challenge.

CHROMOZONE (5) made the most of conditions here 2 starts back when sent straight to the front from gate 2 to lead them all the way. Forced to hang tough prior to fading last start, she can place.

FAIREACHDAINN (2) has put it together in after 26 runs searching for a maiden breaking success, having now won 2 of her past 3 starts. Finishing strongly last start, she can settle handy to feature.

SELECTIONS: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (8), MELTON LUCKY (3), CHROMOZONE (5), FAIREACHDAINN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (8) to win

RACE SIX

DAPPER BESSIE (7) has started from 2nd line gates at her past 4 in succession, the latest from gate 8 when charging home in the closing stages to get within a head of the winner. Scoping for inside runs the start prior, she will be sweating on the 1 looking to dictate and can make the closing shot a winner.

MOLLYS SECRET (1) returned from a 12 month spell in great order when leading them all the way here 4 starts back to land career win number 2. Placed behind MAFFIOSO GIRL at her next start, wide gates have hampered her chances the past 2. Back to the tight gate, she will be fighting.

A RAINBOW DIAMOND (5) was angled to the pegs from the 2nd line last start looking for short-cuts when down the line behind the in-form GOJOE. Tackling mares qualifiers in her 3 starts prior, she can chime in here.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6) went to the pegs last start from the 2nd line and was using inside runs when grabbing 3rd. The gate stings but back to mares only is in her favour.

SELECTIONS: DAPPER BESSIE (7), MOLLYS SECRET (1), A RAINBOW DIAMOND (5), NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-6-7

RACE SEVEN

GOJOE (9) has found his mojo with wins in 3 of his past 4 appearances. Shooting for the hat-trick, he was too sharp out in front as the fav when running a smart closing half. With some tempo on offer early here, he can look to continue the good form and close out strongly.

ROCKNROLL GIRL (7) steps out in Qld for the 1st time and arrives with wins at her past 3 starts in succession. Snagged back in the early stages last time out over the Bathurst 2260m, she was charging home to claim a smart win. A Dubbo winner 2 back, she will be coiled and ready to strike.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (1) held on for the bronze last start when taking the trail over the AP mile when 6m in arrears of the winner COPPERFIELD. With the benefit of the good alley, he is right in the fight.

CALLMEDEMARO (2) landed in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start and held 2nd behind DONNY JONES. Forced to grind it out in the breeze behind that same winner last start, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: GOJOE (9), ROCKNROLL GIRL (7), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (1), CALLMEDEMARO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GOJOE (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

BURMACH (1) settled back in the pack from a 2nd line gate last time out and with the power on up front in the closing stages, those chasing were facing a near impossible task. Runner-up the start prior when beaten an eyelash behind HEART OF COOPER, he lands the gate to take full advantage.

HEART OF COOPER (6) was looking for a hat-trick of victories last start when not much really went in his favour. Easing from this gate to find position, he then didn’t have the cleanest passage when trying to mover into the race but was still within 5m of the winner ELMS CREEK. He can challenge.

MISTER HART (7) is still looking to get out from his run here last Wednesday night when he never saw open track to make a play. With an economical run, he can be ready to take a closing shot.

MACHIN OUT (9) hits the board in 50% of his appearances here at the triangle and from this gate an inside passage might be a play. Chasing home behind ELMS CREEK at his past 2, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: BURMACH (1), HEART OF COOPER (6), MISTER HART (7), MACHIN OUT (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

SWEET AS (7) is 12 months without victory now, but if some factors fall in her favour here, that might just change. Hitting the line nicely in some smart closing panels last start behind WILL THE WIZARD, she should enjoy the cosy trip and if sighting the passing lane with momentum, can take the snipers shot.

MARETTI (6) should appreciate this assignment after meeting some handy performers in recent outings. Obliged to roll the sleeves and grind away in the breeze last start as ESCALERA dictated from the front, it followed a half-neck 3rd after a tough trip. With a smart Redcliffe record, he looms large.

NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (4) has been to the triangle on 2 previous occasions for 1 win. Back in the pack last start behind MYMATEPOG, early position will be key to his chances in this.

CRACKA STRIDE (1) finds his way to another new stable and resumes after finishing down the line last start in slick time over the AP mile. With early speed, he can give cheek fresh up from the gate.

SELECTIONS: SWEET AS (7), MARETTI (6), NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (4), CRACKA STRIDE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET AS (7) win/place (1x4)

RACE TEN

MAJOR GRANDEUR (1) was promoted to 2nd last start after working home wide off the track as the leader set even fractions in front. A winner 3 starts back when angled away from the pegs to come around them, he was too far back at AP 2 starts back. He has the options to capitalise here.

PIN CODE (2) held the pocket trail last start over this trip and was making a late dive to get within a half-neck of the winner BONNIES CAM. Working home strongly from gate 6 over the AP 2138m trip 2 starts back to be within 4m of the winner, she can settle handy here to throw down the challenge.

GO ANNE GO (4) made the most of conditions to pounce on the poles and take them all the way here 3 starts back. If she can hustle off the arm to find the front, she can give them a target.

HIGH ON MONTANA (6) was an eye-catcher over the AP 2138m 2 starts back when probing for gaps and slicing between them late. Fading after a tough trip last start, limiting the burn here can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR GRANDEUR (1), PIN CODE (2), GO ANNE GO (4), HIGH ON MONTANA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
