RACE TWO

FAIREACHDAINN (2) has raced herself into confidence and form to land in the money at her past 4 in succession. Breaking the maiden status 4 runs back when finding the pocket trail and making the closing shot a winner, she was game in holding on for the bronze after a tough trip last start. This looks ideal.

ILLUMINOSCITY (1) eased from gate 6 last start to find the pegs and look for some luck and short-cuts. Striking trouble, the start prior that ended her chances, it had followed a tidy effort from gate 4. Still searching for that elusive maiden breaking win, she lands the right gate to issue the challenge.

READILY (7) snagged back from gate 6 last start and once he was back in the field was always facing a task as the power was on up front. With the cosy trip from this gate, he will be slicing through gaps to chime in.

JILLIBY MONKEY (3) makes his Qld debut for the visiting Josh Turnbull barn, arriving a maiden from 10 attempts.  Runner-up over the Bathurst sprint trip 2 starts back, he is in the picture in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: FAIREACHDAINN (2), ILLUMINOSCITY (1), READILY (7), JILLIBY MONKEY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FAIREACHDAINN (2) to win

RACE THREE

MONTANA EXPRESS (6)
eased back from this gate last start over this trip, waiting until late in the contest to make his challenge. Looming up wide off the track, he was eating into the margin but could only get within a half-head of the winner in claiming 2nd. With a similar trip, he can go close again.

PACIFIC COIN (9) took on a 2nd division qualifier last start when retreating from gate 3 to find position and look for short-cuts along the inside. Sent forward from gate 4 here 2 starts back and finishing 7m from the winner BETTOR SPORT, he can look to make a closing challenge.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (7) has a 50% top-3 strike-rate here at the Triangle but has been left disappointed by tough gates at his past 3 outings here. Too far back from gate 9 last start, he can get the easy trip and will be probing for the openings.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (4) eased from gate 4 in the same race as PACIFIC COIN last start and buried in the run worked home in good order for a mid-field finish. Racing tough here 2 starts back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA EXPRESS (6), PACIFIC COIN (9), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (7), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

It may only be a small field for this contest, yet there looks to be plenty of front-line speed. With some strong late closing efforts in recent starts BEEF CITY BLAZE (6) might just be able to swoop over the top of them. Charging home off a sizzling 1780m time set by CRUNCH TIME last start, look for sweeping hard.

AMILLION PROMISES (5) resumes from a spell for Shannon Price after returning to her barn. Last seen when within 3m of the winner MAJOR CURRENCY via the passing lane, he comes into this with a smart record of 3 from 4 at this track. With a pair of preparatory trials, he can feature fresh.

THERESACHANCE (2) took the trail on CRUNCH TIME last start and despite the cosy trip just couldn’t match the speed in the closing stages. He can look to fire the 1st shot here and is a place hope.

VANTO HANOVER (1) held on for 2nd here 2 starts back after showing early speed. They were too slick last start for her, but with the benefit of the gate and options, she can be included in the exotics.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY BLAZE (6), AMILLION PROMISES (5), THERESACHANCE (2), VANTO HANOVER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY BLAZE (6) to win

RACE FIVE

JAMAICAN RESORT (2) was looking to complete a triangle threepeat last start after successive wins at the 1780m trip. Stepping up to the 2040m, he was soon buried from inside the 2nd line and never really had a good crack at them. From the gate he gets every chance to dictate to a bounce back win.

ROLL WITH ROCKY (9) features in a stable switch and lines up for the Donny Smith barn for the 1st time here. Last seen over the AP mile when he looked far from comfortable when down the line behind NOTORIUS, it had followed a tidy effort for 3rd to LEFT A HURRIKANE. He stays under watch.

BARA JAYLA (1) has gone 12 months since her last win yet her recent efforts have been sound. Buried away in a mares qualifier last start, she can settle one spot closer here and be ready to strike late.

TINKA TERROR (8) entered the SE Oaks 2 starts back off the back of successive wins and was far from disgraced when within 10m of the winner JENDEN STRIKE. Not far away last start, she can get the right early trail and is in the calculations here.

SELECTIONS: JAMAICAN RESORT (2), ROLL WITH ROCKY (9), BARA JAYLA (1), TINKA TERROR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-8-9

RACE SIX

WILD ABOUT TOWN (7) was sent forward from gate 5 last start when obliged to grind it out in the breeze over the sprint trip. The tough run took its toll when he faded out. That followed a similarly tough run and with the chance for a cosy trip here, just needs the passing lane with momentum to fire the closing shot.

OOZINVILLE (1) was a winner here 4 starts back when hustling out of the Hilux to take control and from the front had a 12m margin in the locker. Wide and 2nd line gates have proven costly in his past 3 starts and with the return to the ace gate will get his chance to take them all the way.

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (5) looked to take them all the way from gate 1 at Marburg 3 starts back when returning from a spell and only nabbed right on the wire. Retreating from gate 2 last start, she will need to work home wide from this gate.

FAMOUS SHOES (9) found the 1x1 trail last start when hitting the line soundly to grab the bronze behind PIN CODE. Back in the pack and wide off the track the start prior, he is place hope again here.

SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (7), OOZINVILLE (1), SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (5), FAMOUS SHOES (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WILD ABOUT TOWN (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

ALLSTAR SEA (7) made the most of gate 1 at Marburg in a Heat 2 starts back to hold them wide early and then cruise home in front to an easy 5m victory. Not much went to plan for him in the Final of that Series over the AP mile. Sweating on the 1 holding up, that looks likely and he can make the closing shot a winning one.

RITCHIE BEE (1) started from the 2nd line last start and despite being officially last , was only 9m in arrears of the winner after settling in the running line. Releasing the speed here 2 starts back, he is at his best when dictating and from the gate with limited pressure will get his chance in this.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (8) was setting the tempo here last start and with even sub 30 panels, hoisted the white flag. Forgiving the run and assess his 6m 3rd to COPPERFIELD the start prior, he can look for the pegs here and can slice through the openings to feature.

A RAINBOW DIAMOND (9) pressed ahead from a wide gate last start to find position and despite some early work, fought on late when not too far away. The gate stings, but she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: ALLSTAR SEA (7), RITCHIE BEE (1), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (8), A RAINBOW DIAMOND (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

Back under the care of returning trainer Darrel Graham, MONTANA CHIEF (8) might have found a suitable assignment here. Using the passing lane when 7m off MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN last time out, he was not suited from a wide gate the start prior. With the right trip, he can arrive.

SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW (6) resumes from a spell and returns to the Shannon Price barn after his stint with the Dixon stable. Placed in both outings prior to going for a break, his most recent run was a tidy 7m 3rd to GOONLY. With a pipe-opener at the trials, he can challenge in this despite the gate.

LITTLE CHANGE (7) returns from a spell for the visiting Rickie Alchin barn and steps out with a smart record at Redcliffe from previous Winter campaigns. With a rub of the green in transit, he has claims.

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (4) settled in the running line last start over the AP 2138m trip when unable to get into the contest behind CHANTREY. He can fire some early bullets here and is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA CHIEF (8), SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW (6), LITTLE CHANGE (7), PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTANA CHIEF (8) to win

RACE NINE

WICKED AZZ (8) tackled a mares qualifier last start where she was snagged back from gate 4 to find position. With the tempo on throughout, she was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages to grab the silver when within 5m of the winner. Only 6m away from PARAVANI 2 starts back, this looks within reach.

GOJOE (7) will need some factors in his favour but he is going well enough. Breaking the shackles of the maiden tag with victory here 5 starts back, he quickly added a further 2 wins to his tally. Shooting for the hat-trick here last start, he was only a neck away. He can challenge if the gaps open.

STONE CRACKER (1) lands his best gate for some time and can look to rei-ignite some gate speed into his repertoire after the string of bad gates. Placed in 4 of 5 here at the triangle, he is right in this.

A KERRY MAN (5) will take some further benefit from his latest appearance when 2nd up in Qld. Rolling forward to do it the tough way, he was only 5m off the winner. He will be in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: WICKED AZZ (8), GOJOE (7), STONE CRACKER (1), A KERRY MAN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: WICKED AZZ (8) to win
