RACE ONE

An interesting trot to kick off the day that will see the 2YO and 3YO squarer gaiters do battle. The 1st of its kind in Qld looks to favour the chances of INDEFENSIBLE (3) who looks well-placed from the 40m tape. A winner off the front against the open age performers 3 starts back, he has struck trouble at his past 2 runs. If he can trot cleanly throughout, he will get every chance here.

AURORA (4) has the big 70m impost to negotiate, yet she is a such a professional filly, that may prove to be no impediment. Only a half-head away on Friday when tackling the older trotters for just the 2nd time, she was making a closing play when only a half-head off victory. Blitzing the 3YO Springboard Final 2 starts back, she is he danger.

DEAD SET MUSCLE (1) opened her account here last week when showing a clean gait to work to the front and then keep the small field chasing all the way. That was good reward following some tidy runs including finishing runner-up at 3 of her previous 4 starts. The front tape helps her chances.

SELECTIONS: INDEFENSIBLE (3), AURORA (4), DEAD SET MUSCLE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

MAJESTIC SIMON (9) struck trouble last time out when settling back in the pack over the 2138m trip. The start prior he did not handle the conditions yet was still only 11m from the winner IL PIRATA in the Qld Cup. Smart enough that the 20m is not out of reach, the drop back to Tues company looks ideal and can see him arrive.

SKYLINE (1) was a winner over this trip 2 starts back when working forward from the 10m tape to face the breeze and proved too strong for them in grinding out a 2m victory. Forget his last start where he struck trouble in the run that ended his chances, the front tape is in his favour for this.

JEDDY R YA READY (8) backs up from Sat night where he settled nicely in the run before trying to mount a late challenge when 5m from the winner GEE UP NEDDY. Only a similar margin away the start prior behind WEE MAN TROUBLE, he can feature in this.

SENITAS SUCCESS (2) was buried in the run last start before working home in nice order to gran the bronze. That followed a 3rd to GREG THE GREAT and from here will be in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: MAJESTIC SIMON (9), SKYLINE (1), JEDDY R YA READY (8), SENITAS SUCCESS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJESTIC SIMON (9) to win

RACE THREE

ONE CHANGE (8) made a successful return from a spell at his 1st run for Vicki Rasmussen when swooping home over the top of them to claim a smart win at the 2138m trip. Taking further benefit from the run, this is no harder and with the early options as the lone 2nd line runner, can cruise home once again.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5) is on the back-up from Saturday night where he took the trail from gate 1 before trying to make a closing dive up the passing lane when 3m in arrears of the winner MAYWYNS BEST. Gunned down in front the start prior when leading, he looks the most likely challenger.

JUST ROKIN (3) will take good benefit from her latest appearance when returning from a spell. From gate 7 she was eased to find position before closing nicely behind ONE CHANGE. She can get in the action early from this alley.

LENNY THE LEGEND (7) has been kept fresh since his last outing when taking inside gaps to grab the bronze behind CULTURE KING. Striking that same in-form pacer at his past 3 starts, look for him swooping.

SELECTIONS: ONE CHANGE (8), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5), JUST ROKIN (3), LENNY THE LEGEND (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 8 / 3-5-7

RACE FOUR

MOTU AMETHYST (2)
has faced the starter on 4 occasions where her best return was a 2m 3rd over the mile. Put away after fading out following a slick early tempo, she has not been sighted at the trials in readiness for her 1st up assignment yet looks to strike a winnable race. From the gate she looks to get the right trip to return in style.

MISS LILY MAY (3) had a 6-start campaign last preparation where she did not really fire a shot and returns here without a public trial as a tune up. Fading out after setting the tempo over the mile last start, it had followed a tough run when forced to work in transit. With a suitable race 1st up, she can challenge.

SIXPENNY RED (10) was a Redcliffe winner 2 starts back when locked away from inside the 2nd line she was able to finish over the top to take the prize. Closing nicely last start, the gate stings but she can feature.

THE SECOND CHANCE (1) worked home in good order from back in the pack last start to be mid-field and only 8m in arrears of the winner ABERCROMBIE TAB. Only 4m away the start prior, the gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: MOTU AMETHYST (2), MISS LILY MAY (3), SIXPENNY RED (10), THE SECOND CHANCE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-10

RACE FIVE

COPPICE (1) has been crying out to land a marble and he finally had it drop in his favour for this assignment. Snagged back from gate 7 last start, he was too far back when trying to make ground against the tempo. A nice 2nd here 3 starts back when attacking from a long way back, this looks his chance to capitalise.

FOUR STARZZZ FORSA (10) has been in great touch since arriving from WA having yet to miss a cheque which includes 3 wins here at The Creek. Settling in the running line last start from gate 9, he was strong in the closing stages to grab 2nd to BLACK HAWK JOE in a sharp mile. Despite the gate he can throw down a challenge with these opponents no tougher.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (8) returns to the main draw after a string of runs where he has been banished as an ODM runner. Last start he worked home soundly, and with the chance for a nice trip is in the mix.

BLUE SHARD (9) worked home in good order last start to grab the bronze behind HELLO ITS ME. Probing for openings the start prior when 8m from FOUR STARZZZ FORSA, he can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: COPPICE (1), FOUR STARZZZ FORSA (10), LITTLELIONELJAMES (8), BLUE SHARD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: COPPICE (1) to win

RACE SIX

WINKANDITSOVER (1) eased to find position here last start over the middle distance and was searching for openings when closing nicely. Working hard in the breeze the start prior and still within 5m of the winner, he comes up with the options here and looks to get a chance for a 2nd AP win.

COREY WILLIAM (5) will strip fitter from his latest outing when returning from a let-up. Locked away on the pegs from inside the 2nd line, he held ground to the line when 8m from the winner STOMPEM over the 2138m. Back to the front line over the mile, he has early bullets to fire to issue a challenge.

MAFUTA VAUTIN (8) Started from gate 6 in a small field on Saturday when easing to find position. With the sped on all the way, he found the line in some good closing splits. With the cosy trip he has claims.

DEECAESAR (10) has faced some tough gates of late, the latest pair a result of his starting manners. Angled to the pegs for short-cuts last start, he was making a late impression. He can be closing out again to grab a minor.

SELECTIONS: WINKANDITSOVER (1), COREY WILLIAM (5), MAFUTA VAUTIN (8), DEECAESAR (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

He may have landed the extreme gate and be 2nd up from a spell yet AMILLION PROMISES (12) was a smart winner when resuming at Redcliffe and can build off that here. Eased from gate 5, he was attacking the line strongly to arrive for a nice win. He was meeting handy performers prior to his spell and with good tempo can arrive once again.

VINTAGE DREAM (1) retreated from gate 6 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start to find the running line. Working home wide off the track she was closing strongly to arrive to claim a 2m victory. Only 4m away the start prior, she looks set for a cosy trip here and can look to make the closing challenge.

FEEL LIKE DANCIN (4) is a winner of 2 of her past 3 starts, the latest when gripping on in front over the mile to a narrow win after zipping home in a 27 flat closing split. From the gate she can feature.

THE MONEY BALL (8) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when mid-field behind NOTORIOUS over the mile. 5m from UNCLE JORD the start prior, he will likely be buried but can use inside runs to chime in.

SELECTIONS: AMILLION PROMISES (12), VINTAGE DREAM (1), FEEL LIKE DANCIN (4), THE MONEY BALL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: AMILLION PROMISES (12) to win

RACE EIGHT

THE FORTUNATE SON (6) steps out for the 1st time under race conditions for Narissa McMullen arriving with a last start 5th at Cranbourne. Warming up for his 1st race with a sharp trial, he was sent forward from a wide gate and was strong in front in good time. He can start in Qld with a bang.

HELLO ITS ME (4) found the right conditions at her 1st Aus start when pressing forward to take control in front over the 2138m trip. Giving nothing else a look-in she cruised home to an easy 11m victory, zipping home in 27.2. Back to the mile and a slight rise in grade, she can make the step.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (1) was back in the pack after starting from gate 10 last time out and did not really eat into the deficit. Mid-field the start prior, he can settle handy from this gate to chime in.

TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (3) was obliged to race tough last start and after the tough trip was 11m in arrears of the winner. That followed an all the way win over 2138m from gate 4 and she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: THE FORTUNATE SON (6), HELLO ITS ME (4), JILLIBY JACKPOT (1), TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: THE FORTUNATE SON (6) to win
