RACE TWO

ACE MONTANA (1) made his race debut here 2 starts back when starting from the 2nd line he was buried away in the run before finding the line in good style to claim a 10m 3rd. His latest effort at AP was a tidy effort to finish mid-field and with the improved gate can look to take control.

IFYOUBELIEVE (8) has the race experience to call on and from 2 appearances at the track has a win and a 2nd placing. Looking to take them all the way 3 starts back he was grabbed on the wire when beaten a head and hasn’t really been suited his past 2. Injected into the contest he can challenge.

LITTLE BOLT (7) returned to start his 3YO  term in fine style when finding the front from gate 3 and taking control was never in danger to land a 7m victory. With even luck he is right in the fight.

MOLLIGUANNA (6) has been freshened since her last appearance when locked away on the pegs after snagging back to find position. With a cosy trip she can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: ACE MONTANA (1), IFYOUBELIEVE (8), LITTLE BOLT (7), MOLLIGUANNA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

STONED AGAIN (10) has the back mark to overcome but he is a Marburg specialist that has missed a top 3 just once in 7 appearances. Starting off this mark 2 starts back he was wide off the track and was strong to the line to grab 2nd and last start fought gamely for 3rd under mobile conditions. He will be slugging it out again.

NORAHS FLING (8) had been building towards a win with some tidy performances including a late charging 2nd at Redcliffe 3 starts back. Taking on a 2138m at AP last start she worked home strongly to score her 1st win from the mobile and will be right in the thick of the action here.

GALAXY HUNTER (9) rolled forward early from a 20m tape here 3 starts back when resuming from a break and the effort told when fading in the closing stages to claim bronze. Only beaten a pimple last start he can be in the mix.

JUSTABITLIKEMUM (7) resumes from a spell and from the 20m might just need a run or 2 to get back near her best. Her run 2 starts back was full of merit when 8m from OLE SUN with the place looking her chance here.

SELECTIONS: STONED AGAIN (10), NORAHS FLING (8), GALAXY HUNTER (9), JUSTABITLIKEMUM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: STONED AGAIN (10) to win

RACE FOUR

GRINYDONTCHA (1)
found the front from gate 2 here 2 starts back and looked to take them all the way when grabbed late and forced to settle for the silver. Too far back off the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe to challenge, she can look to capitalise on gate 1 and can dictate terms in this.

JACKS GAMBIT (2) was strong from the breeze over the AP mile 2 starts back and went down swinging when 1m from the winner TRAIN WRECK. Buried away last start when trying to make ground in a 27.7 stanza set from the front, he fought hard and can challenge in this.

EMARGEE (7) was finding the line in good style last start at Tamworth off a 2nd line gate to grab the silver when 4m from the winner. With the right trail through here she can be thereabouts.

KEARNEY LANE (3) hit the line in good style at AP 2 starts back when a 3m 2nd to ULTIMATE RISK. Following that up with a nice effort from the running line behind INVITE ONLY she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: GRINYDONTCHA (1), JACKS GAMBIT (2), EMARGEE (7), KEARNEY LANE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GRINYDONTCHA (1) to win

RACE FIVE

VILLAGE CRUISER (2) doesn’t have the greatest numbers next to his name at his past 3 starts but they have been in much tougher contests than he faces here and lands an improved gate. Claiming a 9m 3rd at AP 4 starts back he can look to use his early speed to find the pegs and gets his chance.

EXPRESS PASS (7) has placed at his past 4 in succession with 3 of those here at Marburg. Finding the running line from gate 5 last start he worked home strongly to be 2.5m from the winner INCITER. From the gate he can look to follow through to find a position and can feature in this.

DOMESTIC ART (8) chased valiantly from the pocket trail at AP last start to be best of the rest behind the big winner BLINGITTOTHEMAX. With a great record on the track look for him finishing strongly.

LUCKY NED PEPPER (5) resumes from a spell after fading out from a tough run at his last start. His runs prior to that were in stronger contests and with even luck from the wide gate can podium.

SELECTIONS: VILLAGE CRUISER (2), EXPRESS PASS (7), DOMESTIC ART (8), LUCKY NED PEPPER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: VILLAGE CRUISER (2) to win

RACE SIX

DIAMONDSFROMHEAVEN (2)
fought on gamely from the breeze here when resuming from a spell and with the benefit of that run was able to come out and lead all the way at her next run. Her past 2 starts have been in strong mares qualifiers and forcing the issue here she can take control to score.

OUR CHAMPION (1) was a Redcliffe winner 5 starts back when releasing the front and then taking the winning shot up the passing lane. His past 2 have been in much stronger company where he has been trying to make ground from the rear and with the options can feature.

MIDNIGHT BENDER (4) was locked away on the pegs last start and chased valiantly behind the big winner CHARMING MAJOR. Placed twice from 3 attempts at the track he can be thereabouts.

LOTS MORE GRINS (9) sat in the pocket trail last start and was able to get within 2m of the winner CAESARS ASTRUM. The gate dents his chances but look for him working home strongly.

SELECTIONS: DIAMONDSFROMHEAVEN (2), OUR CHAMPION (1), MIDNIGHT BENDER (4), LOTS MORE GRINS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: DIAMONDSFROMHEAVEN (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

OLIVER WINKLE (2) was doing his share of work to find the breeze and then sitting there throughout faded in the closing stages behind COURAGEOUS LEO. His run here 2 starts back when off the 2nd line was a tidy effort when 1st up and with the added fitness has the draw to capitalise here.

JUMPING JOLT (5) was impressive at his Qld debut here over the 2200m trip when resuming from a spell here 2 starts back. Taken back from gate 6 at his next start he was finding the line in good order to be 7m from the winner. Tightened further from that run he can throw down a big challenge.

DRIVE THE DREAM (6) has found some form and converted that to wins in 2 of her past 3 starts. Sent forward from gate 7 over the AP 2138m trip she held them off to score. The gate hurts.

IMA TOP TYCOON (7) has claimed the bronze at his past 2 starts when beaten 1m and 3m in each. He found the line strongly from back in the pack at his latest outing and can be in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: OLIVER WINKLE (2), JUMPING JOLT (5), DRIVE THE DREAM (6), IMA TOP TYCOON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-5-6-7

RACE EIGHT

RIVERLEIGH JEFF (9)
was locked away on the pegs last start and worked home well behind MAKOA who scored in strong time over the AP mile. That followed a similar effort in a 2nd division qualifier when locked away and working home strongly can arrive in time here.

CIRCLE LINE (4) has faced some tough barriers in recent starts and although slightly wider again here can look to press forward to settle handy. Taken back from gate 6 last start he was working home well from a long way back to be under 10m from the winner COURAGEOUS LEO and has claims here.

ROLLING ALONG (2) lines up for Darrel Graham for the 1st time and has been meeting some very strong performers in NSW. Well beaten last start behind FRANCO LANDRY, he stays under watch.

SMILING ARMADA (3) was a Redcliffe winner 4 starts back when finding the front over the 1780m trip and holding on to score. Finding a handy position he can look to chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: RIVERLEIGH JEFF (9), CIRCLE LINE (4), ROLLING ALONG (2), SMILING ARMADA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: RIVERLEIGH JEFF (9) each-way
