RACE TWO

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (7) resumes from a spell after 8 starts in her last campaign that netted 2 wins and 4 minors. Runner-up here in 3 of her past 4 starts, all behind her stablemate ELLE JAY, she can look to secure position by following through and fresh up can take her chances to return in style.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (8) snagged back from gate 6 last start and was closing strongly when pinching the bronze and only 5m from the winner HARRY CROFT. With wide gates resulting from her manners, she can trail through this time and hitting the board in 2 from 3 at the track can add to that.

SCHOOBY (2) claimed the prize at Warwick 3 starts back and followed that with a down the line effort at Redcliffe. With an improved alley, he can put himself in the battle sooner to feature.

LITTLEDEE (4) was mid-field at Warwick 2 starts back behind TIMENPATIENCE and then last start at Redcliffe set the tempo before being collared in the closing stages by HARRY CROFT. The gate stings but she has claims.

SELECTIONS: GROOVY MISS ANNIE (7), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (8), SCHOOBY (2), LITTLEDEE (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

TEACHERS PET (4) has a nice record here at Marburg and despite landing a tricky gate, can look to capitalise on her options. Buried away at Redcliffe last start from the 2nd line, she was closing in nice order from well back the start prior. Only beaten an eyelash in a much stronger race here 5 runs back, this is within reach.

POSER (1) has been chasing home when beaten some big margins of late, 4 of those when down the line behind the flying GINA TARANTELLA and then last start behind the smart filly REGNIA ELENA. With the benefit of the good alley in this line-up, she can be much sharper.

FREMARKSINDI (8) held the 1x1 trail over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back when grabbing the bronze behind the smart winner SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE. Franking that effort with a passing lane win last start, she can be chiming in late.

REDDY FIRE (6) had no luck last start when unable to secure position and was forced to retreat after being repelled for a forward spot. Mid-field to FREMARKSINDI, he will get the soft trip and be searching for a way clear.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (4), POSER (1), FREMARKSINDI (8), REDDY FIRE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TEACHERS PET (4) to win

RACE FOUR

KISSESFORYAMISSES (3) speared off the arm to find the front over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start and was never in danger thereafter in landing the prize as a red figure fav. Kept fresh since that victory, she lines up here with the good gate and taking control again here will attempt to stave off the challengers.

BIG GEM MONTANA (6) made the most of conditions last time out on the grass at Warwick when sent straight to the front and once in control was never in danger in claiming a 7m victory. Grabbed the start prior by MAGGIE, he will appreciate a return to age base competition and can be searching for space.

ROYAL PRINCESS (4) will take further benefit from her latest outing when 3rd up from a break. Sitting outside the leader and winner BOOMCHUCKALUCKA, it was a tidy effort and back to this company can feature.

LAKER (2) has had 2 starts back from a break, the latest when buried away in the run from inside the 2nd line. Sound when 1st up against older company, from the gate he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: KISSESFORYAMISSES (3), BIG GEM MONTANA (6), ROYAL PRINCESS (4), LAKER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KISSESFORYAMISSES (3) to win

RACE FIVE

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6)
will need some factors in his favour from inside the 2nd line but finding open road with track to work with, can look to descend upon them late. Working home in nice order last start when 2m from the winner SIR SEMPER FIDELIS, he can force clear to land the loot.

JINGLES BROMAC (1) was content to hold position and face the breeze over this trip last start and in for the fight was only a head in arrears of the winner despite the tough trip. Kept fresh since that outing, he can hustle early to hold position and, in this line, up can look to Jingle all the way.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (7) settled in the running line from the 2nd line last start and was making late metres behind BRONSKI MACARENA to grab the bronze. Landing another 2nd line gate, he looks to be right in the mix here.

DONT CALL ME (2) is slowly starting to show some improved performances with his latest run a sound effort after retreating from gate 5 to find position. From this alley, he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6), JINGLES BROMAC (1), TICK OF THE CLOCK (7), DONT CALL ME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE SIX

HEADWIN (2)
did not have the speed to get across them at Redcliffe last start yet was still too strong from the 1x1 trail when arriving to claim the prize. 3rd up from a break in that and following a barn switch, he can look to utilise his early speed here and from the front will give them a target to gun down.

KOTARE ELITE (3) should find this a few shades easier than what she has been facing in recent starts and boasts speed out of the machine. Forced to hang tough in the breeze last start, she was mid-field and the start prior she was ambushed in front when the in-form BLISSFULDAY arrived. She can challenge.

ARMA AUGUSTUS (7) did his share of work when pressing forward to find the front over the Redcliffe 2040m last start and the effort took a toll when fading. Winning 4 on the bounce leading into that, he will be in the fight here.

ABERCOMBIE TAB (5) has been a model of consistency with a top-3 in 9 of his past 10 appearances. Grinding it out for the bronze last start, he has no favours from the gate but can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: HEADWIN (2), KOTARE ELITE (3), ARMA AUGUSTUS (7), ABERCOMBIE TAB (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HEADWIN (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

DONNY JONES (2) has been without a win for a few months, but he looks ideally suited from this alley. Not that far away from ROLL WITH ROCKY last time after having an early look, he was forced to work hard from the breeze 2 starts back. He looks the leerie and can look to light every lamp home.

MAGGIE (7) will be looking to keep her unbeaten record in-tact after she has landed successive wins on the grass at Kilcoy and then Warwick. Too strong for them last time in claiming a 6m victory, she can look to follow through in the early stages to settle handy. With even luck she can grab the threepeat.

BUKTHSYSTEM (3) is a tow-time winner at the track and should appreciate this level of contest after facing some tougher opponents in recent times. Buried in the run last start from inside the 2nd line, he can join in.

ONYAJANS (1) eased to the pegs from gate 3 last start for the short-cuts when never really working into the contest. With the soft trip, she can be running up behind them at the finish.

SELECTIONS: DONNY JONES (2), MAGGIE (7), BUKTHSYSTEM (3), ONYAJANS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DONNY JONES (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (7) had returned a smart trial in readiness for his 1st Aus start and that was franked when leading throughout for a maiden breaking win. Running home, a slippery 55.1 from the front in that victory, he has a tricky gate but looks to have the class to put them away again here.

GOING FOR GOLD (2) arrives in Qld from the South Island of NZ and steps out for gun trainer Jack Butler, without a public trial in preparation. Failing to hit the board in 6 attempts in the Shaky Isles, he steps back in trip after his past 3 have been over 12 and 13 furlongs. From the good alley he can challenge 1st up.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (8) has been a model of consistency since joining Taleah McMullen and has claimed 3 from 4 here at Marburg. Chasing home for bronze behind the smart TARGARYEN last start, he can chime in late here.

HIGH ON MONTANA (6) closed strongly to grab the silver in a qualifier 2 starts back after settling back in the pack. Buried in the run last start, he will be searching for a way clear to offer.

SELECTIONS: BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (7), GOING FOR GOLD (2), GOSLING IN FLIGHT (8), HIGH ON MONTANA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BOOMCHUCKALUCKA (7) to win

RACE NINE

ADRENALINE RUSH (1) has raced here on 4 occasions for 2 wins and importantly comes up with the gate to look to dictate. Charging home in the closing stages last start for the bronze at Redcliffe, she arrived for a career best rate at AP the start prior. From the gate she will need to hustle early to fight them off.

CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (8) is 1 from 1 here at Marburg and despite a tough alley can be looking to join in. Eased to find position last start over the AP mile, it was the 2nd successive run he had chased behind OAXACAN DREAM. With even luck in transit, he can be swooping late to challenge.

ROGER THAT (2) was locked away against the poles last start from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe and then could not work into the contest. His form has tapered but back to this type of contest gives him the chance to be sharpen.

OLIVER WINKLE (6) returns to Qld after not having any real success in NSW and will be 1st up from a break here. Likely to be pinned down on the poles from this alley, he will be probing for a way clear.

SELECTIONS: ADRENALINE RUSH (1), CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (8), ROGER THAT (2), OLIVER WINKLE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ADRENALINE RUSH (1) to win
