RACE TWO

SONNY SAVEAO (6) will strip fitter following his latest return from a spell when doing plenty of heavy lifting from the breeze when only 4m from subsequent winner NIKALONG HENRY. Putting together 4 successive wins prior to his latest return, he can overcome the tough alley here.

GOTTA MOMENT (8) is mighty tough to follow as he has several versions, but the good version is hard to stop. Pressing on to find the breeze over the AP mile last start, it was the better version that arrived when packing too many guns to score. The gate hurts but this is well within reach at his best.

ADRENALINE RUSH (4) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after claiming a narrow victory over the AP mile last time out. That followed a Marburg victory, and she can feature once again.

GOOD AS IT GETS (2) has been to the track 3 times this prep and been down the line on each occasion. The past 2 have been in strong Saturday night events and back to this type of contest will be much sharper.

SELECTIONS: SONNY SAVEAO (6), GOTTA MOMENT (8), ADRENALINE RUSH (4), GOOD AS IT GETS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SONNY SAVEAO (6) to win

RACE THREE

HEADWIN (3) will be further tightened from his latest offering when 2nd up from a spell. Off the 2nd line when resuming, he was wide for a long way when finishing mid-field behind HUNTER RED. Not suited when asked to race first over from a wide gate 2nd up, he can take control and dictate.

MAJOR LUCKY (9) tackled the 1200m sprint trip on the grass at Warwick last start when sent forward early to find position but repelled and forced to work hard. Fighting hard for the silver, he again comes up with a tough gate but with even luck in transit can be making a closing play.

OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (7) was a winner here 3 starts back when 3rd up from a break and finishing over the top of them. Placed in both runs since that win, she will be probing for the openings here.

TACTFILLY MAGIC (2) was a winner over the AP mile 3 starts back when holding them wide from the ace and leading throughout. Wider gates have stung at her next 2, but the improved alley is a big plus here.

SELECTIONS: HEADWIN (3), MAJOR LUCKY (9), OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (7), TACTFILLY MAGIC (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HEADWIN (3) to win

RACE FOUR

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (4) has slowly worked his way back into some form and looks to have found winnable conditions here. Easing from gate 5 last start over the AP 2138m, he was strong to the line in grabbing the bronze. Not far away from gate 7 over the mile 3 back, this looks his chance to cash-in.

SUGARKANE (1) has a strong record here on The Triangle and lines up with 4 wins and 4 minors in her 12 outings here. Finding them a bit too sharp in the 3YO Fillies QBRED event last start, she was not that far from the in-form NIKALONG HENRY the start prior. With the good alley, she looms large.

CALL ME TRISH (2) will take benefit from her latest outing when returning from a break. Locked away after angled to the pegs, she was back in the pack but will be an improver in this.

MIZZZ ADELE (9) started from gate 8 last time out and was wide off the track when working home to grab the silver behind ONE OFF when 3m in arrears. Striking trouble, the start prior, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: IFOUNDTHEBEACH (4), SUGARKANE (1), CALL ME TRISH (2), MIZZZ ADELE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: IFOUNDTHEBEACH (4) to win

RACE FIVE

HUNTER RED (3)
has been sparingly raced this prep and lines up here 3rd up from a break but with one month between runs. Beaten a half-head when resuming, he showed the benefit of the outing when ripping home, a strong last 800m from the front to score 2nd up. If forward enough in condition, he can go back-to-back.

BOULDER CITY (4) was a winner over the AP mile when charging off the arm to get forward and once in control was never in danger to claim an easy 6m victory. Beaten by gate 7 last start, he faces some tough gates and with early speed he can be charging forward here to throw down the challenge.

SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (9) had been thereabouts in 4 starts since arriving in Qld and 2 starts back when strong in defeat when only beaten a neck. A smart winner last time out, she is right in the fight.

WANJIRU (8) loomed up strongly last start but was unable to land the winning blow as FARRAHFOWLER nabbed her on the wire. Closing in good order for 3rd the start prior, she can place once again.

SELECTIONS: HUNTER RED (3), BOULDER CITY (4), SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (9), WANJIRU (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

BEYOND A SHADOW (8)
has landed the outside gate at each of her past 3 starts, 2 of those because of her starting manners. Retreating last start to look for short-cuts, she was never in the mix and the start prior was asked to roll the sleeves to race tough. This looks her chance to capitalise.

MY ULTIMATE HELL (2) does not venture to Redcliffe that often but does bring 5 placings in 13 attempts. Hitting the line in nice order from a long way back last start behind SHEZALUCKYLADY, he was only 4m from the in-form VOODOO FELLA the start prior. With early speed, he is in the fight.

ITS ALL TORQUE (1) was not that far away from them at Marburg 2 starts back after being locked away soon after the start from gate 1. With a cosy trip he has podium claims here.

MISTER DECORUM (7) set the speed on the grass at Warwick last start but could not see it out when finishing 7m in arrears of the winner MAGGIE. With a cosy trip he will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: BEYOND A SHADOW (8), MY ULTIMATE HELL (2), ITS ALL TORQUE (1), MISTER DECORUM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BEYOND A SHADOW (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (8) threw his chances away over the AP mile 2 starts back when making an error that proved costly. Starting from the ace last start, he could not muster the early speed and then was down the line in a tidy mile. Back to this level, he can overcome the wide gate to claim this.

LEAPING LEO (1) has started inside the 2nd line at each of his past 2 starts, the latest when buried away and making good closing ground to be 2m from the winner SHEZ GOT BLING. Away from the inside to work home wide out here 3 starts back, he can be close enough to make his challenge.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6) found the line strongly here on Thursday to be just outside the money. Claiming the bronze behind ROUSEY here 4 starts back, this is well within his reach.

WEASEL (9) was eased from a wide gate to find position last start and from back in the pack was then never really in the mix. Grinding it out the start prior, he can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN TROUBADOR (8), LEAPING LEO (1), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (6), WEASEL (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN TROUBADOR (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (4) has not raced here on The Triangle for close to 18 months yet his form here is strong with 4 wins and 7 minors in 16 attempts. Scoring over the AP mile 2 starts back when securing the pocket trail, he was not far away last start over the mile. He can capitalise here.

WILLSINTOWN (9) had worked his way into some form and went a stretch of 3 wins in 4 starts. Tapering off somewhat since the last of those wins, he should find this more to his liking. Beaten by gate 6 last start when retreating early from gate 6, he can find position to challenge in this line-up.

BARBOO (2) was too far back when trying to work into the contest last start from the 2nd line which had followed a 5m 3rd behind ROCKNROLL DA GAMA. With early speed he can be thereabouts.

CHUMP CHOP (8) has chased home some in-form performers at his past 2 starts when down the line behind ROUSEY and ARMA AUGUSTUS. Only a half-head away 4 starts back, he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (4), WILLSINTOWN (9), BARBOO (2), CHUMP CHOP (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (4) to win

RACE NINE

MAGHERA MAGGIE (9) has the 2nd line to overcome yet should appreciate this class of contest after meeting some marginally tougher assignments in recent times. Angled to the pegs from gate 4 last time out, she was back in the pack against the poles. In an open contest she might pinch this.

LITTLEDEE (3) was mid-field last start on the grass at Warwick after starting from the inside alley. Down the line as were the rest of the field the start prior when chasing home GINA TARANTELLA at Marburg, she strikes a winnable race here and from the gate will get her chance to challenge.

BETTERTHAN TORQUE (2) returned from a spell when easing from gate 4 to find position before making a determined challenge to claim a 2m victory. Locked away last start, she can bounce back.

HARRY CROFT (4) set the speed out in front on the grass at Warwick last start when holding on for the bronze. With even luck in finding position, he can be thereabouts in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: MAGHERA MAGGIE (9), LITTLEDEE (3), BETTERTHAN TORQUE (2), HARRY CROFT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MAGHERA MAGGIE (9) to win

RACE TEN

REDDY FIRE (4) has been winless for some time but may have found the right conditions to end the drought. Not suited last start when wide off the track, it followed a tough run at Marburg after starting from a wide alley. Limiting the early burn, he can look to take an open event.

TEACHERS PET (8) had been runner-up in consecutive outings including a tough effort from the breeze here 3 starts back. Finding theme out of reach in a strong Saturday night event, she was sound to the line from back in the pack behind RAINBOW STYLING last start and can challenge.

FREMARKS INDI (7) weaved a passage to grab the bronze here on Thursday when working home soundly.  Needing a slice of luck from this gate, if she can find some space she can feature.

SAVANNAHS BOY (1) is a maiden 3YO stepping out for the in-form Jonah Hutchinson barn and arrives with 2 placings in 20 attempts. From the gate he stays under notice 1st up.

SELECTIONS: REDDY FIRE (4), TEACHERS PET (8), FREMARKS INDI (7), SAVANNAHS BOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
