RACE TWO

BREACH THE BEACH (4) was again game in defeat last start when rolling the sleeves and working hard in the run when 4m in arrears of the passing lane winner TUPAEKA LIGHT. Grabbed in the last strides the start prior as the subsequent winner HURRICANE ROY nabbed him, he will be in for the fight.

BET IM SPECIAL (3) pressed on from gate 4 here 2 starts back and taking control was able to take them all the way in holding on for a 2m victory. Not much went his way last start from the 2nd line and a return to the front from this alley can see him fire some early bullets to make his challenge.

ARBIT MAJOR (2) eased from gate 6 over the longer 2280m trip here 3 starts back and then finished best to claim a 1m victory. Too far back last start, he can settle closer here and will be chiming in.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (7) will requiring a slice of luck from this alley but when he can spot open road will be making a late bid. Runner-up to HURRICANE Roy last start, he capitalised from the ace 2 starts back when leading all the way. He will be probing.

SELECTIONS: BREACH THE BEACH (4), BET IM SPECIAL (3), ARBIT MAJOR (2), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BREACH THE BEACH (4) to win

RACE THREE

This looks a strong contest and a number of chances dependent on the early map and the pressure in transit. Leaning to VIEWBYTHEROCK (4) who made an error over the AP 2138m last start and was back in the pack from gate 6. He finds a winnable contest and if able to limit the burn in finding position, might just sneak away with it.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (7) faces a stiff gate here following his last start victory. Sent straight to the front from gate 2, he was never in danger when leading throughout for an easy win. Runner-up in both starts prior, he will be searching for a way clear and if finding space with track to play with, can throw it down.

JOVIAL JULIE (9) is moving ever closer to another victory after placing at her past 4 in succession. Working home wide off the track last start to get within a head of the winner, she can be steaming home here.

TOANUI SPIRIT (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start from gate 3 when holding on for the bronze behind PACIFIC COIN. Meeting some stronger 3YO opponents the start prior, she can show some early hustle here.

SELECTIONS: VIEWBYTHEROCK (4), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (7), JOVIAL JULIE (9), TOANUI SPIRIT (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

ONLY IN ROME (2) does not win that often, but he is super consistent and looks to have found conditions to suit here. Runner-up at his past 2 starts, he closed in good order from gate 5 last start when 2m from the winner MONTEREY JACK. 2nd to his in-form stablemate OUR UNCLE JIM the start prior, he can capitalise from this alley.

MAJORDOIT (5) was slammed with gate 7 over the AP 2138m last start when easing back early to find position and soon locked down on the poles. Closing hard to be within 5m of the winner MILLWOOD TILLY, it was a smart effort and followed 3 successive placings. The gate stings again, but he is up to the task.

NIKALONG HENRY (7) has been in great touch and lines up here with 3 wins in his past 4 starts and a head defeat in the other outing. Too strong for them last start, he has the 2nd line options and looms as a player in this.

MISTER COLE (3) completed a hat-trick of victories here 3 starts back when too strong out in front over the 2040m trip. Down the line in stronger AP races his past 2, the return to the Peninsula is in his favour.

SELECTIONS: ONLY IN ROME (2), MAJORDOIT (5), NIKALONG HENRY (7), MISTER COLE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ONLY IN ROME (2) to win

RACE FIVE

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (1)
looks superbly placed in this race under the conditions and lands a further bonus of the ace gate. Not far from PACIFIC DRUMS in slick time against a smart field on Sat night against qualifying company, it had followed successive placings. He looks mighty hard to hold out.

MOLLYS SECRET (4) loves The Triangle and lines up here in search of a hat-trick of victories. Doing some early work before easing to find running line position, she had too many bullets to fire int eh closing stages when arriving for a half-head victory. The smaller field suits and she can be charging late.

COULDNTBETOLD (5) was asked to roll the sleeves early before pressing on to take control over the sprint trip. Once in control he held on for the silver with only TRUNKEY DIGGER able to get past. The gate stings but he can be working into the action.

MIZZZ ADELE (7) worked home strongly when wide off the track here 2 starts back to grab the silver when 3m from the winner ONE OFF. Backing up from Monday night, she will get the cold sit here.

SELECTIONS: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (1), MOLLYS SECRET (4), COULDNTBETOLD (5), MIZZZ ADELE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (1) to win

RACE SIX

MISTER DECORUM (1)
is on the short back-up from Monday night where he looked to get his chance. Unable to see it out on the grass 2 starts back, he set the tempo most of the trip before being overpowered in the closing stages. From this alley he gets every chance to dictate.

CANNAN (7) has been super consistent to be in the money at 9 of his past 11 and finish in 4th in the other 2 outings. Working home strongly wide off the track last start, he grabbed the bronze when 4m from the winner ABERCROMBIE TAB. From this alley he will be probing to make his challenge.

MISS CATALINA (5) broke through for a drought breaking win here 3 starts back when closing over the top of them to score. Runner-up on the grass at Warwick last start, look for her swooping late.

TORQUE WRITER (6) worked home in good order from the 2nd line here 3 starts back to grab the silver behind ROUSEY. Strong in victory at her next start, she can defy the gate to feature here.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (1), CANNAN (7), MISS CATALINA (5), TORQUE WRITER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-6-7

RACE SEVEN

ROUSEY (8) tasted defeat in Qld for the 1st time last start when charging home in the closing stages and only falling a head short of victory. Looking a risk in that event from inside the 2nd line, it was still a top effort and had followed 6 successive wins. She can bounce back here with a knockout.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (4) was rewarded for his consistency here last start when pressing on to find the front from gate 5. Once in control he was able to fight them off in claiming victory by a head. Runner-up in 5 of his previous 7, he can roll the sleeves if needed and will be whacking away here.

CONDAFEW (9) finds himself back a fair way in grade and the option for a cheap ride against the poles looks on offer here. Chasing from the inside behind TRUNKEY DIGGER last start, he can join in.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (1) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Looking for the pegs and a cosy trip, he was down the line behind VOODOO FELLA. From the gate, he lands the options and is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ROUSEY (8), ABERCROMBIE TAB (4), CONDAFEW (9), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROUSEY (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROCKNHOLME (6) has no favours from the car park but should take good benefit from his latest outing following a brief freshen. Settling back in the pack from the 2nd line, he was making some good ground in the closing stages for silver behind SOMEGIRLDOMEWHERE. This looks within reach.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) backs up from a much tougher 2YO contest on Sat night where he found them a bit stiff when down the line behind FRONTLINER. Runner-up to MY ULTIMATE LOUIE here last week from gate 1, he will need a slice of luck but back to this grade can throw down a challenge.

AMANDER (8) eased from gate 5 last start to find position and was soon back in the pack and could not work into it. A winner here 2 starts back, this looks mores suitable and she has podium claims.

ESTARDAY (1) was angled to the pegs from the 2nd line last start to look for some luck and short-cuts when down the line behind MY ULTIMATE LOUIE. The gate is a bonus and she is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNHOLME (6), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7), AMANDER (8), ESTARDAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNHOLME (6) to win

RACE NINE

BELLAVICTREE (4) has found them out of reach at The Creek in recent starts and lines up here after a tough run last start when grinding it out from the breeze. Angled to the pegs the start prior when chasing home behind WOODLANDS ROSE, she can tuck in behind the speed here to take the closing shot.

LEFT IN THE WIND (6) will take benefit from her latest offering when resuming from a spell for the new barn from gate 1. Showing the early speed to hold them out, she was fighting hard but ultimately no challenge for REGINA ELENA. The gate stings but with added fitness is in the fight.

HURRIKANE KAT (1) sped out from gate 4 last start to find the front last time out. Setting a steady tempo, she was gripping on in the closing stages when grabbed by VERMONT. The gate is a big plus.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (3) looked to take them all the way from gate 1 here 2 starts back when finishing 5m from the winner AURORA ROSE in claiming the bronze. With early speed she can feature.

SELECTIONS: BELLAVICTREE (4), LEFT IN THE WIND (6), HURRIKANE KAT (1), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (3)
SUGGESTED BET:
