RACE TWO

OUR DELIGHT (5) was quickly away from gate 4 last start to find the pegs and then released the speed to opt for the trail. Using the passing lane she was too slick in arriving for a 1.5m victory. Fitter from that run when 2nd up for the term, the small field suits and she can go back-to-back.

RICH RUBY RED (1) was in the pocket trail here 2 starts back and with the cosy run was looking to finish best up the passing lane when 1m off the winner PRESLEYBEGOOD. Forget her last start where she struck trouble, with the benefit of the gate she will be ready to take a closing shot.

SPECIAL RESERVE (3) will be tightened from her last start when resuming to start her 3YO season. Starting the fav from gate 1 she was buried away and chased late when 8m from the winner OUR DELIGHT. She is in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: OUR DELIGHT (5), RICH RUBY RED (1), SPECIAL RESERVE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR DELIGHT (5) to win

RACE THREE

RED CHARMER (2) was locked away on the pegs last start and the run had merit under the circumstances after being snagged back from gate 7 in a Rising Stars final. A winner of a mares qualifier here 3 starts back when leading throughout from gate 2, she can take the early shot and look to dictate.

LIFEONTHEBEACH (3) was charging home in the closing stages here 3 starts back off the 2nd line when going under a half-neck behind TOM ME GUN. Only beaten a head when looking to lead throughout in a Rising Stars heat 2 starts back, he can settle handy here and look to challenge.

HAPPY FEELINGS (1) made the most of conditions when taking the trail from this gate over this trip 3 starts back and finishing best arrived for the prize. Finishing hard from the 2nd line for the silver last start, she will be ready to strike.

SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW (4) has been in the money at his past 5 starts and last start was strong from the breeze over the 2138m trip when 2nd to CASINO GRIN. He will need to work again here.

SELECTIONS: RED CHARMER (2), LIFEONTHEBEACH (3), HAPPY FEELINGS (1), SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RED CHARMER (2) to win

RACE FOUR

COREY WILLIAM (2)
is in top form and has been able to secure win in 3 of his past 4 starts with the other result a head 2nd to LINCOLN ROAD. Last start from gate 3 he pounced on the pegs and once in control was never in danger in scoring with a career best 1.53.4 mile. From the gate he looks mighty hard to stop.

SPIKE BROMAC (5) took the trail from gate 1 over the 2138m trip 2 starts back and was chasing all the way behind the flying MARETTI. A beaten fav on Sat night after he was put out of business in a scrimmage, he can come out of the gate hard and ask some questions in this.

BEAU CISHLOM (1) worked home in good order here 5 starts back when claiming the silver behind JOSSIE JAMES and had excuses at his next 3. A tidy 3rd last start to ITS JUST KENNY, he can make the most of the good gate.

PATERNITY SUIT (7) has no favours from the wide gate but the smaller field with a hot tempo should give him his chance in the closing stages. Force to work last start he has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: COREY WILLIAM (2), SPIKE BROMAC (5), BEAU CISHLOM (1), PATERNITY SUIT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: COREY WILLIAM (2) to win

RACE FIVE

SPORTS STORY (6) makes her Qld debut for Graham Dwyer and has missed a top-3 just once in her career. Arriving a winner of her past 4 in succession, the past 2 of those have been since resuming for her 3YO term. Pressing on to the front last start over the 1710m trip at Goulburn she held on to score. She is up to the task.

MACH TORQUE (1) opted for cover last start at Marburg and went within a half-head of victory after the cosy run. Fighting from the breeze 2 starts back at Redcliffe, she lands the options from this gate and with a likely cosy trip can look to take the snipers shot in the closing stages.

LIFES BLACK (2) was after a hat-trick of victories last start when he was sent forward to bully his was to the front over the Redcliffe sprint trip. A tough winner from the breeze 2 starts back, he will be looking to grip on.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (8) has started 3 times for the season and been able to land wins in 2 of those. Sent to the front from gate 2 last start she took tm all the way over the 2138m trip. Looking locked away, she will be closing out hard.

SELECTIONS: SPORTS STORY (6), MACH TORQUE (1), LIFES BLACK (2), SAINT KILDA BEACH (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

TOM ME GUN (2)
was too strong from the 2nd line here 3 starts back when arriving to claim a tidy 2138m victory. Finding the pegs over the mile last start in a Rising Stars Final, he was given an early stare down and went down swinging when only beaten a neck by FAME ASSURED. This looks his.

LISA LINCOLN (3) has great early speed and can have a good shot in the opening stages and might even open up the trail if unable to cross. Searching for a hat-trick of victories after consecutive wins at the mile when leading throughout in each, she can throw down a big challenge here.

MACHSASWINGER (6) will be 1st up in Qld and facing the starter for the 1st time in 21 months. A last start Newcastle winner, he has trialled once in preparation and will take benefit from the outing.

TOOK YOUR TIME (1) was angled to the pegs here 2 starts back and from 3 back against the pylons chased hard to finish 3m from the winner. He will get a cosy trip and be ready to sprint when the gaps arrive.

SELECTIONS: TOM ME GUN (2), LISA LINCOLN (3), MACHSASWINGER (6), TOOK YOUR TIME (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TOM ME GUN (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

TOP TRIO (9) was working home strongly from back in the pack over this trip 2 starts back when finishing 3m from the winner. Doing some early work last start he was facing a task with a sun 27 closer and trying to make ground. This is much easier and he can look to close out the best.

GASMONKEY (5) eased back from the widest gate of 6 runners last start over this trip and was never in the mix as GANGSTER BOY controlled from the front. Not far away at his previous 2 starts, he took them all the way over the mile here 4 starts back and despite the gate can feature here.

SWEET AS (1)
made the most of an improved gate here on Sat night when able to lead throughout for a good win over the mile. That was against mares only and she rises to this trip but is still a live chance.

CANKICKATARGET (8) will be sweating on SWEET AS looking to go all the way and if that scenario eventuates, he will be coiled and ready to strike. Possessing a slick closing burst, look for him swooping late.

SELECTIONS: TOP TRIO (9), GASMONKEY (5), SWEET AS (1), CANKICKATARGET (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

ROYAL LINCOLN (2)
returns from a spell following 4 Qld starts when 1st arriving from NZ. Facing 2nd line draws at his 1st 2 appearances he made the most of gate 1 at Redcliffe when 3rd up and taking them all the way. Sharpened with a slick trial for his return, he can look to capitalise from the gate.

KARLOO JOHNNO (9) makes his Qld debut for Wayne Graham and returns from a freshen. Looking to lead throughout over the sprint trip at Bathurst 2 starts back, he wasn’t suited off the 2nd line at Dubbo last start. With the right trail through in the early stages he can find position and challenge.

PINUP BOY (3) was grabbed right on the line 3 starts back when looking to lead throughout over the 2138m and has raced well in a Rising Stars series since. From the gate he is right in the fight.

GOALKICKER (10) took them all the way here 3 starts back and then was best of the chasers in a Golden Guitar heat. Chasing gamely in the final, she can be working home in the closing stages here.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL LINCOLN (2), KARLOO JOHNNO (9), PINUP BOY (3), GOALKICKER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-3-9-10
