RACE TWO

BOMB SUIT (5) added another minor to his tally last start, having placed in 6 of 7 here at The Creek but with no breakthrough. The letter B has been his nemesis in recent starts- last week he was wide when chasing for the silver behind BOOMCHUCKALUCKA which followed a real eye-catcher behind BLACKSADANCE and 3 back was beaten a head by BOHANNAN. He can capitalise here.

NOTORIOUS (1) took the trail from this gate last start over the mile and via the passing lane was charging home with the winner just stealing enough of a march with the momentum to land victory by a half-head. His run the week prior behind BLACKSADANCE was a nice effort and he lands the options again. The nagging concern is the record of 0 from 14 at the AP 2138m.

ONE OFF (6) is in nice touch and was charging home here last week when finding the space after retreating early from gate 5. Only 2m from subsequent winner GOOTA MOMENT, it followed a smart passing lane win. The gate stings but he can be charging late.

THEARTOFINFUSION (9) eased from gate 5 last start to find the pegs and from back in the pack was hitting the line strongly in the closing stages for the bronze behind BLACKSADANCE. With even luck in transit, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BOMB SUIT (5), NOTORIOUS (1), ONE OFF (6), THEARTOFINFUSION (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BOMB SUIT (5) to win

RACE THREE

This whole race will be dependednt on where BLACKSADANCE races, as he listed as the 2nd Emergency for the Paleface Adios Stakes at Menangle.

BLACKSADANCE (8) has no favours from inside the 2nd line but his last start win at the 2138m was a demolition. Sent around the field from the 2nd line in the early stages, he was able to press on to find the front and once in control kept the power on to score an emphatic win in slick time for the trip. If they opt to stay home rather than head to Menangle, he will need some luck but is up to the task.

PARAVANI (3) has been hitting some nice areas of late and comes in here off a last start victory when leading throughout at the mile. Sent to the front from gate 3, he rated the pace with a 2nd stanza breather to then keep them chasing. Chasing from the 1x1 when 4m from KEY LARGO 2 starts back, if he can pinch a panel in front, he will take some stitching.

MASTER CATCH (5) was warming up to something and delivered it last week when sweeping around the outside to claim a qualifying victory at the mile. Working hard the start prior when 3 wide for a long way, he was hitting the line strongly the start prior behind WILL THE WIZARD. With even luck he can challenge again here.

BOHANNAN (10) started from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe 3 starts back and in a small field found the gaps when needed to arrive for a narrow victory. Finding the front last start at the mile, he kept them chasing all the way for a strong win and can be chiming in again here.

ALE ALE KAI (1) tackled the 2138m trip here 3 starts back when keeping them wide early from this alley before opting for the trail and landing a smart 3rd to ONE CHANGE. Charging home on Wed night at Redcliffe, the gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: BLACKSADANCE (8) PARAVANI (3), MASTER CATCH (5), BOHANNAN (10), ALE ALE KAI (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

GARLAND GREENE (8) started from the 20m impost last start and trying to make a closing play was hitting the line in nice order to grab the silver when 2m in arrears of the winner SIR FAHRENHEIT. Forget his run 2 starts back when striking trouble in the run, the mobile conditions look favourable and as the lone 2nd line runner will have the early options in plotting his course.

MUSCULUS (1) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Placed in both runs since resuming, he was attacking the line in nice style after starting from the 20m tape last time as ALADDIN SANE arrived. Only 2m in arrears of the winner SKYLINE the start prior, he has the options here to make a challenge.

SIR FAHRENHEIT (3) has 3 wins and 2 minors in 9 attempts from behind the mobile and comes into this off the back of his last start win when finding the space to charge home to score. Game when forced to work hard in transit the start prior, he is in the mix.

RED CASTLETON (4) has only faced the mobile start on 2 occasions, returning 1 win. His win here 2 starts back from the 20m was a sharp effort when charging hard down the stretch and followed that with a 5m margin to SKYLINE. Settling handy can see him feature.

SELECTIONS: GARLAND GREENE (8), MUSCULUS (1), SIR FAHRENHEIT (3), RED CASTLETON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GARLAND GREENE (8) to win

RACE FIVE

NIMAH FRANCO (6)
settled in a rearward position from her 2nd line gate last start and was strong to the line when grabbing the bronze behind MISS RUBY SUNSHINE. Trying to take them all the way the start prior, she had noa answer for SAUCY DREAMS when holding on for 3rd. The gate stings but this looks within her grasp.

ROCKITA (7) again must negotiate the wide gate as she searches for an elusive mare qualifier after placing in these races on 4 successive occasions. Best of the chasers behind the scorching leader and winner MISS RUBY SUNSHINE last week it followed a similar tough effort from this same gate. Once again she will throw down the challenge.

COOL AND CALCULATING (8) will requiring a slice of luck from this alley as she searches for a hat-trick of victories. Scoring a narrow win over BIG WHEELS last start, it had followed a strong all the way victory from gate 6. She will be probing for the openings.

OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (3) eased from gate 6 to find position last start and was making some nice metres int eh closing stages as BOOMCHUCKALUCKA took them all the way. Only a head way here 2 starts back, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: NIMAH FRANCO (6), ROCKITA (7), COOL AND CALCULATING (8), OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: NIMAH FRANCO (6) to win

RACE SIX

Just the small field of 6 for this week’s FFA but it should still provide a competitive clash that could well be a tactical affair. The flying MAJOR CAM (6) is likely to take a power of stopping despite the widest gate after he has been in great form. Eased from gate 7 last start to find the pegs, he then had superior speed to charge home in some slippery closing splits to score. His win 3 starts back was breathtaking and the small field looks to be right his wheelhouse.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (2) eased from gate 5 here last week and from back in the pack was left dodging the scorch marks TURN IT UP left on the back straight when he turned on the afterburners to put the field to the sword. Using the passing lane to grab the bronze here 2 starts back, he was an all the way winner here 4 starts back and has the gate to fire out and try to fight them off.

LETS KATCHMEIFUCAN (5) had all the answers last start despite landing gate 7 when rolling forward and proving too strong for his opponents. Working home strongly to grab the silver the start prior behind TENNYSON BROMAC, he will be in the firing line here.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR CAM (6), NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (2), LETS KATCHMEIFUCAN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR CAM (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

IMA SPORTSSTAR (5)
was buried away last week before charging to the line for the silver behind TURN IT UP with individual splits of 53.68 and 26.61 for the closing 800/400 panels. Forget his run the week prior over the 2138m, he looks better suited at the mile and tucking in here off the heat can power home.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (4) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when fading out against open company. Obliged to do it the tough way in that contest it had followed a strong win from the front over the 2138m trip. He might need to work hard again, but in this grade he will be in for the fight.

FRANCO LANDRY (6) has struck the smart ONE CHANGE at his past 2 starts, the latest when making an error that ended his chances. A beaten fav from gate 7 here 3 starts back when forced to work hard in the run, he can be thereabouts.

KEY LARGO (2) was shooting for the hat-trick here last week when sent around them from the 2nd line. He is a leader and does his best work in front, with all 16 of his 17 wins coming when lighting the lamps. He looks the leerie, can he light the final lamp?

SELECTIONS: IMA SPORTSSTAR (5), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (4), FRANCO LANDRY (6), KEY LARGO (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

AT WEST POINT (6)
has the wide gate but from out there he will be rolling forward and looking to put the heat into the contest. Taking them all the way last start, he was able to do it easily in a steady rate by his standards. Out powering them in a 53.2 mile 3 runs back, he will be trying to fight them off.

GOTTA MOMENT (3) is after a hat-trick of wins after being handed a victory on a platter here on Tuesday. Looking set to claim the bronze, the front pair locked wheels to end their day and the race was presented to this guy. That followed a career best run here just 7 days ago and he has the gate to chase the threepeat.

THATS HOW WEROLL (10) is effective when saved for one run and from this alley will be looking to finish hard. Gate 7 was his undoing last start which had followed a tough win when asked to do it the hard way. He can be chiming in.

MONTANA CHIEF (9) is racing in nice touch and was charging home here on Tuesday to grab the silver when only a head away from SPEEDY DOMINIC. Eased from gate 7 over the 2138m here 2 starts back, he was strong to the lien behind WILL THE WIZARD. He will be swooping.

SELECTIONS: AT WEST POINT (6), GOTTA MOMENT (3), THATS HOW WEROLL (10), MONTANA CHIEF (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-6-9-10
