RACE TWO

THE REAPER (7) was safely away from the big 50m handicap last start and soon found the pegs before making a closing play to grab the silver behind HEART OF CHANGE. Too strong for them here 3 starts back when cutting the breeze, he is at his best when rolling near the front and from the 10m if he can get forward cheaply will prove hard to hold out.

ORLANDO JOLT (12) has been kept fresh since his last outing and trialled rather than be sent to the races to prepare. A smart winner of that trial, he was game in defeat at his last race outing from a 20m tape after rolling the sleeves to race first over. Despite the 20m impost, he can throw it down I this.

SPIDERS DEVIL (2) caught the eye here 2 starts back when making a sustained run from the 600m to hold 2nd behind UNKNOWN SON after starting from the 40m. Within 6m of the winner MATATOKI last start, back to the front is a big plus in this grade.

EYRE I GO (8) broke through for a tough victory here 3 starts back when sent forward from a big 50m handicap and had too much in the locker to score. Hitting the line nicely last start to grab the bronze, he can feature once again.

SELECTIONS: THE REAPER (7), ORLANDO JOLT (12), SPIDERS DEVIL (2), EYRE I GO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THE REAPER (7) to win

RACE THREE

JOVIAL JULIE (2)
has been racing at Redcliffe in recent outings and heads back to town where she has 6 minors and 3 wins on the track. Only 8m in arrears last start after not receiving the smoothest run in transit, she had placed her previous 2 starts when not far from the winner in each. With even luck, she has found conditions to strike.

DONNY JONES (5) started from inside the 2nd line last start when holding the pocket trail but unable to go with them in the closing stages. Forced to do some work in the run 2 starts back over the Redcliffe 2040m trip from a wide gate, his run was sound under the circumstances. Against this line-up with some early speed to call on, he can challenge.

WHERES TASCOTT (1)

MACHIN OUT (7) has no favours from the wide gate once again after facing gate 6 last time out. Eased before working wide in the latter stages to be 8m in arrears, he can be around the mark in this.

SELECTIONS: JOVIAL JULIE (2), DONNY JONES (5), WHERES TASCOTT (1), MACHIN OUT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JOVIAL JULIE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

This is by far the strongest of the two McNeil Heats with 6 last start winners lining up to do battle for the all-important points. Super impressive at his first start in Qld, UNKNOWN SON (3) worked forward from a 10m tape to take control and was never in danger thereafter. That was off the back of a handy trial and he can look to maximise his points straight up.

ALADDIN SANE (13) has finally put it together and looks to be sorting it out at the right time coming into this series. With gait issues proving costly, he made an error here 2 starts back but was able to reset and go on to claim a smart win. Too strong for them last start, he has the field to loop at some point off the back mark but looks up to the task.

JANSSON (8) will appreciate a return to a 10m tape after facing 30m at his past 3 stand starts and then taking on the pacers from the mobile last start. A smart winner last time he was off 10m, he will be in the mix here.

VAN SANK (7) has been kept fresh since his last start back on January 5 when pressing on to find the front and then holding them off in the closing stages. With a tidy trial to keep the pipes open, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: UNKNOWN SON (3), ALADDIN SANE (13), JANSSON (8), VAN SANK (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Tricky little race here to dissect where the speed looks drawn in 1 but with that runner below her best at present which could be the fly in the ointment. WICKED AZZ (2) took the 1x1 trail after doing some early work last start at Redcliffe before finishing 4m in arrears of the flying RUM DELIGHT. Runner-up in a mares qualifier here 3 starts back, she can arrive here.

DAPPER (7) looks hard to stop if he is able to slide across the field and find the chair without over doing it early. Sent forward from this gate last start over the 2138m, he was game in defeat when grinding it out and finishing just a half-neck from the winner. Not far from the in-form TIZ A SIZZLER the start prior, he looms large.

BLUE IVY (5) was able to squeeze in to secure the pocket trail last start and with the easy trip thereafter was able to make the closing shot a winner. The wider gate stings but she is in the mix.

AMILLION PROMISES (10) returns from a spell after last seen back in November. A Redcliffe winner 3 starts back when working home wide off the track to claim a smart win, he can join in late here.

SELECTIONS: WICKED AZZ (2), DAPPER (7), BLUE IVY (5), AMILLION PROMISES (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

COOL AND CALCULATING (7)
has no favours from the carpark here but looks to have the edge required to put this line-up away. Beaten a neck at her 1st Qld outing when fresh from a 5-month break, she quickly added successive wins to her tally before a smart 2nd last start. With speed off the arm, she can get into the contest early.

NICKS PICK (1) started in red figures from the widest gate at The Triangle last start. Eased to the rear at release, he was trying to work into the contest wide off the track but could not pick them up when settling for the bronze. Runner-up to BOOMCHUCKALUCKA here 2 starts back, the improved gate is a big plus.

OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (4) was hitting the line in smart order when not far from BOOMCHUCKALUCKA in a strong Saturday night race. Beaten by the tempo in a mares qualifier behind ROCKITA last start, she can be joining in here.

XAVIERS HURRIKANE (3) showed plenty of promise as a 2YO, winning the first 2YO race of the year back in 2019. Runner-up to WILL THE WIZARD in the Breeders Classic at his 4th start, he has not been seen since. He will take benefit from whatever he can achieve here.

SELECTIONS: COOL AND CALCULATING (7), NICKS PICK (1), OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (4), XAVIERS HURRIKANE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: COOL AND CALCULATING (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

TIZ A SIZZLER (6)
has returned from a spell in fine fettle and lines up here for 3 on the bounce after wins at the middle-distance and mile. Pressing on to take control from gate 4 last start at the mile, he was never in danger in claiming an 11m victory in a slippery 52.7 rate. Despite the tough gate the threepeat is on.

KINGOFTHESTARS (7) looks to get into this race nicely under the conditions but has that offset by again copping a wide gate. Sent around them from gate 11 last start, he was in for the fight when holding on to 3rd behind CLARRY. Early position will be key to his chances of challenging.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING (2) was 1st up from a freshen to kick off his 4YO term here last week when snagging back from gate 6 over the 2138m. Strong to the line in some slick closing panels, he can settle closer to feature here.

LUCKY UNLUCKY (3) shoots for the hat-trick after wins over the Redcliffe 1780m and then here at the mile. Taking them all the way in his mile win here to set a new PB of 1.53.2, he will be right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: TIZ A SIZZLER (6), KINGOFTHESTARS (7), DOUBLE OR NOTHING (2), LUCKY UNLUCKY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TIZ A SIZZLER (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROYAL OBSESSION (3)
has been in nice touch of late, hitting the board at his past 4 in succession including a win over the mile when finishing over the top of them in the closing stages. Making a closing dive last start to get withing a neck of the winner BLUE IVY, tucked in behind the action here can see him arrive.

KIAMASROSIE (2) slid into the 1x1 trail from gate 3 over the sprint trip last start and with the good run was able to make the closing shot a winner to score a 4m victory. Game in defeat the start prior when forced to work hard in the run, she can be settling handy to the speed here to throw down the challenge.

GOLIGHTLY (8) was attacking the line strongly last start to get within a neck of the winner. Buried away here 2 starts back, he was closing hard when finding the space and he will be probing again in this.

SUGARKANE (1) was too smart for them at Redcliffe 3 starts back when finishing over the top of them in a smart last half. Striking MISS RUBY SUNSHINE 2 starts back, from this alley she can feature.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL OBSESSION (3), KIAMASROSIE (2), GOLIGHTLY (8), SUGARKANE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL OBSESSION (3) to win

RACE NINE

Taking good benefit from his 1st outing since arriving in Aus GOPATI (5) can look to go one better this time around. Sent to the post a white-hot favourite, he was able to take control early but could not maintain the rage and was gunned down in front. Fitter for the run after being 1st up without a public trial, he can gain redemption.

GOALKICKER (2) has made the most of conditions when taken to Redcliffe with wins at her past 2 outings on The Triangle when leading throughout in each. Sandwiched between those wins has been 2 down the line efforts here at The Creek, the latest when no match for MISS RUBY SUNSHINE. Firing the early shots in this line-up, she can feature.

APACHE WHITESOX (9) might be able to bring the luck of number 9, wearing number 9 in race 9 despite the fact he is yet to win in 9 outings here at the track. Finishing strongly down the centre of the track at Redcliffe last start in scoring a smart win, he can be chiming in late in this.

CHEESANDKISSES (4) will take benefit from her latest offering when returning from a spell. Not aided by carting a flat tyre for a period, she was not far from the winner KIAMASROSIE. With even luck she is in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: GOPATI (5), GOALKICKER (2), APACHE WHITESOX (9), CHEESANDKISSES (4)
SUGGESTED BET:
