RACE TWO

CONDAFEW (1) has been out of the winner’s circle for some time and has slid down the ratings to drop below the maiden starting rating. 3rd here from the inside when within 4m of the winner and that was followed with wide gates at his next 2. With the right trip, he might just be able to turn back the clock.

ARTISTIC SAINT (2) has not had much in his favour since joining the Veivers barn and faced some tough draws of late. Gate 9 was his nemesis last start when the race was decided in front and the start prior, he grabbed the silver when starting inside the 2nd line. Taking control, he gets his chance.

LIFEINHEAVEN (7) was beaten by gate 6 last start when easing to find position before then trying to make a play. 3rd to MONTANA FLASH the start prior, she will be probing for the openings to chime in.

ASHLEE NITRO (5) eased from gate 6 to find position last start and from back in the pack was never really a threat on the grass as GOLIGHTLY dictated. Look for her making a closing play to feature.

SELECTIONS: CONDAFEW (1), ARTISTIC SAINT (2), LIFEINHEAVEN (7), ASHLEE NITRO (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

RUM DELIGHT (1)
has found the Redcliffe rhythm, finishing as the runner-up in two and the winner of two in his past four outings. Too strong last start over the sprint trip, he was obliged to do it the tough way when racing first over at the 2040m trip the start prior when 1m off the win. He will be looking to light every lamp home.

ADRENALINE RUSH (7) started from gate 1 last start over this trip and after releasing the speed was able to hold on for the silver behind RUM DELIGHT. Fading out the start prior when sent forward from gate 3 to take control but unable to see it out, she is set for the easy trip here to be ready for one last attack.

BLUES TERROR (5) has no favours from the tough gate here but he is racing well and is yet miss the board in 4 attempts here at the track. Grinding it out last start when 3rd to RUM DELIGHT, he will be in for the fight once again.

VENUS JUJON (6) finished over the top of them from the 2nd line here 3 starts back and then last start again finished best to claim the prize. The gate dents her chances, but she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: RUM DELIGHT (1), ADRENALINE RUSH (7), BLUES TERROR (5), VENUS JUJON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RUM DELIGHT (1) to win

RACE FOUR

GUY LOOKS GOOD (3) was sent around them in the early stages from the 2nd line last start to face the breeze over the 1780m trip. Grinding it out, he was in for the fight when gunned down right on the line by a swooping ROBINMEGOOD. He can look to take control and from the front can hold on.

ROBINMEGOOD (1) had been making some early errors in his runs that were proving costly. Doing everything right to settle in the running line last start, he made the closing shot a winner when grabbing them in the last strides to score. If he can avoid being crowded and stay clean early, he can take the snipers shot.

DEVOUGED (8) was a winner here 5 starts back when finishing over the top of them from the 2nd line. Placed at his past 2 in succession, he was closing strongly last start when 3m in arrears of the winner. If the tempo is solid, look for him late.

BLOOD MONEY (7) lines up for Vicki Rasmussen after 2 starts in Qld have not really worked in his favour. 9m from the winner after doing it the tough way last start, he will be probing for the gaps to chime in.

SELECTIONS: GUY LOOKS GOOD (3), ROBINMEGOOD (1), DEVOUGED (8), BLOOD MONEY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-7-8

RACE FIVE

SIGNOR JUJON (2)
had trialled in nice fashion in readiness for his latest campaign but it has not really gone to plan in his 3 runs back. Locked away from inside the 2nd line last start, he never had a decent shot at them as TOANUI SPIRIT arrived. Beaten by the 2nd line 2 starts back, he finds the conditions to cash-in here.

NON PASSARE (4) was pinned down against the poles last start when trying to make a closing offering behind DARBY BRIGHTS. Easing from gate 4 before closing out in nice style the start prior behind the same winner, he can be in the right position to make a challenge for the prize in this.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (7) worked to the front from the two-hole last start and kept an even tempo in front when trying to take them all the way. Unable to put them away, he will enjoy the cosy trip here to make a late play.

FEEL THE THRILL (1) tried to take them all the way last start when leading every step, bar the most important when beaten a neck. His previous 2 were in stronger company and he has the gate to make them earn it.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (2), NON PASSARE (4), WILD ABOUT TOWN (7), FEEL THE THRILL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (2) to win

RACE SIX

MELTON MAX GENTLE (3)
will take good benefit from his latest outing when 3rd up from a spell. Easing from gate 3 to secure position, he was soon buried away. Attacking the line in fine style over the closing stages to grab 2nd behind FORTYFIVE ROCK, he can settle closer and gets his chance here.

LITTLE ARROWS (5) opted for the trail after showing early speed last start at Kilcoy and then held on for the bronze when 10m in arrears of the winner HURRIKANE SPECIAL. Fitter for that run after six weeks from her previous run when working hard in transit, she can look to make a challenge.

BERTILS FIREFOX (1) looked to take them all the way here 2 starts back and was setting a steady tempo when gunned down right on the wire when beaten a half-neck. He has the gate to feature.

FAMOUS SHOES (7) started from the ace last start when securing the pocket trail and then holding on for the silver behind ROCK THE HOUSE. With another economical trip he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MELTON MAX GENTLE (3), LITTLE ARROWS (5), BERTILS FIREFOX (1), FAMOUS SHOES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MELTON MAX GENTLE (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

MAKINMEFEELGOOD (6)
started from inside the 2nd line last start when securing the pocket trail and holding on for the bronze. A winner here 3 starts back when rolling the sleeves to grind it out, the gate is a stinger but in a race of many chances, he can look to out muscle them in the run.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (8) was sent forward from gate 4 last start and continued to take control over the 2040m trip. After a steady opening half, he could not see it out when gunned down by RAYONG PRINCESS. Working home soundly from the 2nd line 3 starts back, he can look to challenge.

ILLBEWATCHING (3) led them up here 2 starts back when looking to pinch it in front but was grabbed in the latter stages. With good early speed, he can fire off the arm to feature in this line-up.

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (7) found a suitable assignment last start when finishing over the top of them at Kilcoy. Approaching full fitness now after 4 runs back from a break, she will be probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (6), TICK OF THE CLOCK (8), ILLBEWATCHING (3), GROOVY MISS ANNIE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

Tricky contest to dissect here with many of these searching for some redemption in finding winning form. Despite the tough gate FORTYFIVE ROCK (7) can bring winning form to the plate with a win at his past 2 in succession. Locked away last start before charging home in the closing stages, with a rub of the green the threepeat is on.

BEYOND A SHADOW (5) returns to the main draw after enduring the ODM embargo at her past 3 outings. Working home soundly over the 2138m last start at The Creek, she was too far back the start prior when retreating from gate 7. This looks within reach and with her lone Qld win here at Redcliffe, she can make a challenge.

WHATA REACTOR (2) has ticked over 12 months since her last victory when leading all the way over the AP mile. Forget her last start when striking trouble and ending her chances, she can be sharper here from this alley.

CYCLONE KELLY (4) will take good benefit from his 1st Qld appearance when claiming the bronze on the grass at Kilcoy. Closing out in good order in that event, he can be close enough to feature in this.

SELECTIONS: FORTYFIVE ROCK (7), BEYOND A SHADOW (5), WHATA REACTOR (2), CYCLONE KELLY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

TYPHOON TORQUE (5)
has hit the board in 7 of her 10 starts here at The Triangle, including at her past 2 starts since returning from a spell. Locked away from inside the 2nd line last start, she was best of the chasers behind the easy winner KISSESFORYAMISSES. Fitter again, she looks ready to strike.

LEFT IN THE WIND (7) was locked away against the poles here 2 starts back and was able to find the space to get into the clear and finish over the top of them to claim a narrow victory. Looking to take them all the way last start, she faded in the closing stages when 5m away. Back to 1 win grade, she can challenge.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) features in a stable switch to line up for the Gary Gerrard yard for the 1st time. Tackling a stronger contest last start when beyond mid-field, she has the gate to be right in the fight.

FAST EDDY (9) worked across them from gate 5 last start and was soon outside the leader and obliged to do it the tough way. Fading under the pressure, he can be chasing here to chime in late.

SELECTIONS: TYPHOON TORQUE (5), LEFT IN THE WIND (7), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1), FAST EDDY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TYPHOON TORQUE (5) to win

RACE TEN

GOOD LUCK CHARM (1)
started from gate 5 last outing when retreating early before making a tidy finish behind the dictating winner BRISKET. Within 4m of JAMES THE JET the start prior, she is slowly gaining ringcraft and improvement from each outing and looks to get a breakthrough chance here.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (7) will be relying on some luck from this alley as she looks set to be locked away in the early stages. Resuming from a break here last week, she held the pocket trail from this same gate and chased when 6m in arrears of the winner FIRE EYES. She will be probing for the gaps.

POPEYE RUSSELL (2) showed the speed to lead last start and took up the lamp lighting duties with ease but could not see it out when 5m from the winner. He can fire the early shots here and be gripping on.

SHEREACTS (5) started in red figures last start from gate 1 but made a mess of things as the gate released them. The costly error saw her following the leader and winner in holding 3rd. She is in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: GOOD LUCK CHARM (1), TORQUE IN CONTROL (7), POPEYE RUSSELL (2), SHEREACTS (5)
SUGGESTED BET:
