RACE TWO

BLISSFULDAY (6) will need to be at his best to negotiate this alley, but he looks to be dropping enough in grade to overcome the gate impediment. Putting a line through his Kilcoy run where he was 1st up, his previous 3 outings returned placings including a half-neck 3rd in a strong Sat night Final. With a smart 3 from 4 record at The Triangle, he can cash-in.

VOODOO FELLA (2) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run and his hopes looking forlorn. Forced to work hard the start prior, he can be tucked in behind to feature here.

MAYWYNS JEWEL (1) was sent forward from gate 6 last start and was content to cut the breeze before fading in the run. Working home soundly the start prior, the improved gate helps for this.

JOVIAL JULIE (8) has placed at her past 2 starts, the latest when taking the trail from gate 1 and then using the passing lane to get within 4m of the winner HUNTAWAY. Never far away, she can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: BLISSFULDAY (6), VOODOO FELLA (2), MAYWYNS JEWEL (1), JOVIAL JULIE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BLISSFULDAY (6) to win

RACE THREE

SIGNOR JUJON (2)
started from this gate last week and was able to squeeze in behind the leader for the pocket trail. With the soft trip throughout, he was ready for the passing lane but could only get within a half-neck of the winner. If he can take control from the gate, he will take some catching.

DEVOUGED (5) has been on a streak of tough alleys and while he does not receive much respite for this assignment, he can still throw down a challenge. Wide off the track when trying to work into the contest last start, his run 2 starts back was sound when 3m in arrears. Just needs an even slice of luck.

HESLUVABLE (1) retreated from gate 4 last start and was back in the pack when trying to find the shortcuts. With his best gate for some time, he can get the right trip to make a closing play.

GUY LOOKS GOOD (4) was sent to the post as fav last start where he was able to take control over the 2040m trip. Trying to fight them off, he had to settle for the bronze. He can get forward to feature here.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (2), DEVOUGED (5), HESLUVABLE (1), GUY LOOKS GOOD (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (2) to win

RACE FOUR

CHANCELESS CENTURY (5) rolled the sleeves to do the work last start and after trying to grind it out, wilted late to trail them in. His run 2 starts back over the AP mile had merit when holding on for the bronze behind subsequent winner TEARAWAY DIAMOND. Fitter after 3 runs back from a spell, he should appreciate this line-up.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (9) has worked his way back into some nice areas to line up here with a top-two at his past three in succession. Sent around them early to cut the breeze last start from the 2nd line, he was strong to the wire when 2m away. Too strong the start prior, he will be throwing it down again here.

FORTES IN FIDES (1) has been runner-up at his past 2 outings, with both returns from the 2nd line. Working home in good order last start when within 4m of the winner, the gate is a huge plus.

DARBY BRIGHTS (2) has been in consistent form of late, hitting the board in 9 of her past 11, including a trio of wins. Gate 9 was her undoing last start and from the improved alley can feature.

SELECTIONS: CHANCELESS CENTURY (5), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (9), FORTES IN FIDES (1), DARBY BRIGHTS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CHANCELESS CENTURY (5) to win

RACE FIVE

BEYOND A SHADOW (1)
features in a barn switch and line up here for Ross Fletcher for the 1st time. Doing it the hard way last start when sent to the breeze from gate 4, she could not go on with it when fading out. A passing lane winner at her only victory in Qld, gives her the options to capitalise here.

MISS CATALINA (8) trailed through from gate 8 here last week to land the 1x1 trial and chased hard to hold the silver behind CYCLONE KELLY. Given 2 runs in 2 days the week prior, she was not far away on each occasion and with the right run-in transit can be looking to make a closing challenge in this.

JOY MAKER (4) was pinned down on the poles over the AP mile last start and was searching for a way to offer when 2m in arrears of the winner MAGGIE. Beaten by gate 9 here 2 starts back, she can join in here.

KAY NORA SHANNON (3) was asked to roll the sleeves last start and was game in fighting to the wire when within 4m of the winner despite the tough trip. From the gate she can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BEYOND A SHADOW (1), MISS CATALINA (8), JOY MAKER (4), KAY NORA SHANNON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-8

RACE SIX

TAKE IN THE GOLD (8)
is not having the greatest luck in landing a marble since arriving with the Dixon stable and lands a tough one again. He covered plenty of the Triangle last start and was still giving to the line when only 3m in arrears from gate 5. Not far from the subsequent winner COOL AND CALCULATING 2 runs back, he can arrive here.

ROUSEY (6) pressed on to find the front here last start from gate 5 but put in her worst ever performance at the track when trailing them in. Running in the top-two at all previous 11 starts here at Redcliffe, she was too good in front to lead throughout here 2 starts back. Forgiving the last start, she can atone.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (4) was a winner from gate 3 here 3 starts back when leading all the way to a comfortable victory. Following that with a 2nd, she did not have much go her way last start and is a place hope here.

ROBINMEGOOD (3) had too much to offer in the closing stages here 2 runs back to land a narrow victory and followed that with the silver last start. From the gate he can feature once again.

SELECTIONS: TAKE IN THE GOLD (8), ROUSEY (6), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (4), ROBINMEGOOD (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TAKE IN THE GOLD (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

MAKINMEFEELGOOD (5)
broke a winless drought here 4 runs back when proving too tough for his opponents in scoring a strong 10m victory. Close to the money in 3 starts since, he has placed at his past 2 outings, the latest a grinding 1m 3rd from gate 6. This might even be a shade easier and he can look to do it the gritty way once again.

PATCHWORK JET (1) resumes from a spell after being put away following his last start where he wilted after setting the speed over the sprint trip. With a tidy preparatory trial, he stays under notice from this alley.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9) held the 1x1 trail here 2 starts back and was making a closing play to grab the silver when 5m from the winner FEEL THE THUNDER. Midfield last start, he is a place hope in an open contest.

A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (7) was asked to do it the tough way last start on the grass at Kilcoy before fading under the pressure. 1st up off a freshen in that event, he will be probing here.

SELECTIONS: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (5), PATCHWORK JET (1), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9), A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

TICK OF THE CLOCK (5)
will need to negotiate the sticky gate but looks to get his chance in a race where winning form seems an elusive component of the racing package for many of these at present. Pressing o to take control from gate 4 here 2 starts back at the 2040m, he had to settle for the silver behind RAYONG PRINCESS. From the front line he is worth a ticket.

IMA REGAL JET (8) started from gate 4 last start when stuck looking for position before easing to find the 1x1 trail. Looking to make a closing raid, he could not go with them as MIDNIGHT QUEEN arrived. Gunned down when leading here 3 starts back, he can be chiming in late to challenge.

RISKY BUZINESS (2) set the tempo last start over this trip and running some even splits was mobbed late in a blanket finish to be 2m in arrears of the winner. Firing an early shot, he can feature once again.

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (6) has no favours in rubbing the paint around Garrards corner at release here but bucks the trend of her opponents in bringing a win in her past 5 to this battle. Sound to the line last start, she can be joining in.

SELECTIONS:
TICK OF THE CLOCK (5), IMA REGAL JET (8), RISKY BUZINESS (2), GROOVY MISS ANNIE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TICK OF THE CLOCK (5) to win

RACE NINE

SHEREACTS (6)
has the wide gate to overcome but might just have enough of an edge to shake off the maiden status here at career start number 7. Chasing as POPEYE RUSSELL controlled it last start, it was a sound effort when 3rd here 2 starts back. The gate stings but with a few of these likely to find the 2040m a tough ask, she can sneak home with the prize.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (4) went within a head of opening her account here last start when leading at every step bar the one that counted. After a steady opening half over the 1780m trip, OUR DOLLY worried her out of the prize. From the gate she will be there to issue a challenge once more.

GOODLUCK CHARM (8) took the trail from gate 1 last start and via the passing lane grabbed the bronze behind POPEYE RUSSELL. Stepping up to the middle distance for the 1st time, she is in the mix.

DREAMOUTS NIECE (9) was asked to roll the sleeves to do it the tough way over this trip 3 starts back and could not cope when fading out. Much sharper at her last 2 when chasing, she has podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: SHEREACTS (6), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (4), GOODLUCK CHARM (8), DREAMOUTS NIECE (9)
SUGGESTED BET:
