RACE TWO

LITTLE CHANGE (5) eased from gate 6 last start over the sprint trip to settle a long way back in the pack. Searching for open road, he was strong to the line without finding the space to fully unwind. Not far from SPARKLING CULLECT over the AP mile 2 starts back, he might just have found the right conditions here.

RUM DELIGHT (8) has been in super touch here at Redcliffe where his record shows 5 wins and two 2nds from his 8 appearances. Completing a threepeat of front running victories here last start, he will have to overcome the 2nd line but with the right run-in transit he can challenge once again.

JEROSH (4) was not suited by the 2nd line last start and was never really in contention as RUM DELIGHT controlled in front. Running in to the smart TIZ A SIZZLER the start prior, he can fire an early shot from this alley.

GANGBUSTER (1) was unable to secure position last start and had to ease to find the running line and then could not eat into the deficit. The gate is his ally here and he can feature.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE CHANGE (5), RUM DELIGHT (8), JEROSH (4), GANGBUSTER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLE CHANGE (5) to win

RACE THREE

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (5)
has worked his way back into form to finish in the top-2 at his past 4 outings with a pair of wins and a pair of 2nds. From gate 9 last week he was working home wide off the track and had too much to offer in claiming the prize. Tough the start prior when only 2m in arrears, he can go back-to-back.

HUNTAWAY (7) was buried away from this gate last start and never found the space when needed to make a challenge in finishing 7m from the winner. Taking them all the way the start prior and holding off IFOUNDTHEBEACH, he will be needing some luck from this alley, but if the gaps arrive, he can snipe.

VENUS JUJON (6) eased from gate 4 to secure position last start before working home strongly to grab the silver when 1m from the winner OHOKA JIMMY. The gate stings but she can join in again.

BLISSFULDAY (8) will take good benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from a freshen. Covering plenty of territory, he was game in defeat through a strong closing half when only beaten a neck.

SELECTIONS: IFOUNDTHEBEACH (5), HUNTAWAY (7), VENUS JUJON (6), BLISSFULDAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

TAKE IN THE GOLD (4) was wide off the track when moving into the contest here last start and as the widest runner had his race ended on the home turn when locking wheels and forced to pull up. Pressing forward to work in the run here 2 starts back from gate 5, he was in for the fight and despite the speed to his inside, can power home late.

NESTERS HILL (2) was a Tamworth winner 3 starts back from inside the 2nd line when finishing best to claim the prize. Beaten by the gate at his next run at the same track, he was set a task last time out over the AP mile and wilted under the pressure. From this gate he looks to get his chance to take control.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1) has good early speed which will avail some early options should they want to look to set the pace. Within 4m of ROBINMEGOOD last start, the gate is a big advantage.

LIVING GRAND (6) has no favours from the wide ally here but has been meeting much stronger opponents of late. Banished to the trials last start, he has earned the return and stays in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TAKE IN THE GOLD (4), NESTERS HILL (2), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1), LIVING GRAND (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TAKE IN THE GOLD (4) to win

RACE FIVE

MAKINMEFEELGOOD (4)
pressed on to take control from gate 5 last time out and once in control had them chasing when cruising home for the easiest of 19m victories. Game in defeat the start prior when working hard in the run, he has the gate to press forward and put them to the sword once again.

SWEET LOMBO (5) will take some benefit from his latest appearance when returning from a break to kick off his 3YO campaign. Eased from gate 6 to settle at the rear, he was making some ground in the closing stages when wide off the track. The gate stings again, but he can be making a play.

CONDAFEW (9) angled to the pegs from gate 8 last start and was hitting the line in nice order when 5m from the winner. Likely to go looking for short-cuts again, he can join in if the gaps arrive.

TILDALYN (1) was 1st up from a spell here 3 starts back and working home wide off the track arrived for a knockout win at big odds. Facing tough gates in both runs since, the improved gate is a big plus here.

SELECTIONS: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (4), SWEET LOMBO (5), CONDAFEW (9), TILDALYN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MAKINMEFEELGOOD (4) to win

RACE SIX

ABERCROMBIE TAB (5)
has a tidy tally sheet here at The Triangle, earning a cheque in 13 of his 20 appearances. Pinned down on the poles last start from inside the 2nd line, he could not get into the contest. Forced to cover too much of the track the start prior, despite the gate he strikes a winnable event.

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (4) held on for the bronze last start after trying to work into it from the 2nd line as MAKINMEFEELGOOD scored an easy win. Retreating from gate 5 the start prior, she was too far back to mount a serious challenge. Settling closer to the action can see her in the mix in this.

WAVEDANCER (3) was 3rd at Kilcoy 2 starts back, albeit well beaten as GOSLING IN FLIGHT blew them away. Game in defeat after working hard here last start, he can feature once again.

BEEJAYS DELIGHT (7) landed gate 1 here last start and trying to capitalise looked to lead them all the way. Grabbed in the last strides to go under by a neck, he will be probing for the way clear in this.

SELECTIONS: ABERCROMBIE TAB (5), SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (4), WAVEDANCER (3), BEEJAYS DELIGHT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ABERCROMBIE TAB (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

TICK OF THE CLOCK (1)
eased across from the five-hole last start before receiving cover but could not go on with it in the latter stages. Beaten by the 2nd line the start prior, he was gunned down when setting the tempo here 3 runs back. From the gate he gets every chance in looking to dictate.

HARRY CROFT (7) started from this alley last start back on December 31 and was soon locked away 3 back against the inside. Holding on for 3rd behind a big winner, it followed a close 2nd on the grass at Kilcoy. In the money at his past 6 in succession, he has the perfect gate to challenge fresh.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (8) was sent forward from the six-hole last start and was in for the fight despite the tough trip when only fading in the closing stages. A winner from inside the 2nd line 3 runs back, he can be in the mix.

RAYONG PRINCESS (9) is in some of the best touch of her career, with a top-3 in 6 of her past 7 outings. Working hard from gate 5 she was too strong for them in landing the prize. Despite the gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: TICK OF THE CLOCK (1), HARRY CROFT (7), FORTYFIVE ROCK (8), RAYONG PRINCESS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-7-8-9

RACE EIGHT

MELTON MAX GENTLE (1)
found the pocket trail last start from gate 2 and searching for the space to chime in was only 5m from the winner REGALIA last start. Doing it the tough way the start prior when racing first over, he will have the early options from this alley to chase down career win number 3.

TORQUE WRITER (9) will take good benefit from her latest outing when returning from a spell and tackling the middle distance here from gate 1. Holding the lead early before opting for cover, she was within 5m of the winner EULO FLYER. The 2nd line dampens the hopes, but she can still make a play.

MISS CATALINA (7) settled in the 1x1 trail from gate 8 here 2 starts back and chased hard for the silver when 5m in arrears of the winner. Buried away last start, she will be probing for a way clear.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (6) has hit the board in 4 of her past 6 starts, the latest when chasing home for the bronze behind SIR SEMPER FIDELIS. The wide gate makes it tough, but she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: MELTON MAX GENTLE (1), TORQUE WRITER (9), MISS CATALINA (7), TORQUE TO THE MAX (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

OUR BELLA LUCIA (2)
heads North to join the stables of Jonah Hutchinson and the 3YO filly brings a tidy record that shows 5 minors and a win from 11 outings. Not suited last start at Parkes when wilting after working hard in the run over the mile. A smart trial winner here last week, she has the gate to capitalise.

LILLIES (7) will need a slice of luck from this alley but if that luck arrives, this is well within reach. Last seen back in August in the APG Brisbane Sales Final when 8m from the winner HES SWEET, she has trialled here once in readiness for the return and with a rub of the green will be in the mix.

HURRIKANE HOUR (3) met a stronger line-up last start at The Creek when setting in the 1x1 trail and then finishing within 2m of the winner. A close-up 2nd here 3 starts back, in an even contest, he is right in the fight.

BRISKET (9) made the most of conditions to take control and lead all the way here 2 starts back when resuming from a freshen at just his 3rd career start. Fading when the pace went on last start, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: OUR BELLA LUCIA (2), LILLIES (7), HURRIKANE HOUR (3), BRISKET (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

OCEAN LANE (1)
was making her Qld debut off the back of a handy trial when sent to the post as fav here last Thursday. Pressing forward from gate 5, she found the front and looked to take them all the way when first across the line. Losing the race in the steward’s room after drifting up the track in the stretch, she gets every chance for redemption.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (7) looked to have found her race here 2 starts back from gate 1 over the sprint trip when worried out of it by OUR DOLLY after setting the tempo. Finding the front last start from gate 4, she could not last the 2040m trip when claiming 3rd. With the easy trip, she can challenge.

OUR BOY BOBBY (8) is a 4YO on debut by Roll With Joe out of the mare Easy Campese for Bianca Hooper. A half-brother to 6 winners, he has trialled in good order to stay under notice for this.

GOOD LUCK CHARM (6) was trying to work into the contest wide off the track after starting from the 2nd line last time out. 3rd up the passing lane here 2 starts back, the gate is a stinger for this.

SELECTIONS: OCEAN LANE (1), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (7), OUR BOY BOBBY (8), GOOD LUCK CHARM (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1 / 6-7-8
