RACE TWO

MORROCH BAY (2) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins at the mile since resuming from a break. 1st up he took them all the way from gate 2 when able to control a steady tempo and last start fought off a game PACIFIC DRUMS. He steps up again but with the gate advantage can dictate.

TOM ME GUN (7) hit the line strongly last start from back in the field and arrived for a stylish win after starting from the 2nd line. That followed a similarly strong effort when chasing and only beaten 2m behind LINCOLN ROAD. The gate hurts but he is racing well and cant be dismissed.

AQUA MISS (6) has been runner-up in 2 runs back from a spell when beaten 2m and a neck on each occasion. Grabbed late up the passing lane last start, she has been kept fresh and can feature.

TENNYSON BROMAC (9) makes his Qld and Aus debut for Grant Dixon and brings solid form from the North Island of NZ. 1st up and not seen at the trials, he stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: MORROCH BAY (2), TOM ME GUN (7), AQUA MISS (6), TENNYSON BROMAC (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MORROCH BAY (2) to win

RACE THREE

EXCEPTIONAL MACH (4) took on a higher priced claimer 2 starts back and from gate 4 over the mile worked forward to find the front and was grabbed in the closing stages to be 4m from the winner. Not suited last start from the 2nd line, he looks to get his chance to get forward and take control.

STIRLING WILLIAM (5) was hitting the line strongly last start from a long way back when finishing 4m from the passing lane winner CLASSY GUY. That followed a solid effort when 3rd to OUR MELS DREAM when starting fav and finding position early here will be closing out hard.

RORY MACH (9) was finishing strongly last start to be 3m from the winner CLASSY GUY and the start prior was solid late after being well back in the run. Look for him making his late charge.

COMPLY OR DIE (6) pushed on to work to the pegs from gate 6 here last start and the effort was strong over his less preferred 2138m trip. Back to the mile suits but he might be forced to work.

SELECTIONS: EXCEPTIONAL MACH (4), STIRLING WILLIAM (5), RORY MACH (9), COMPLY OR DIE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: EXCEPTIONAL MACH (4) to win

RACE FOUR

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (11)
was strong when returning to start his 3YO term and worked hard in the breeze outside the smart winner PARAVANI. That was in a Gold Pot Heat and then in the final he made a mess of the start that ended his chances. The gate makes it tricky but he is up to the task.

SEA HAWKE (4) started from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start and was eased early to work away from the pegs. He was closing fairly to finish 4m from the winner. Buried in the run 2 starts back when chasing LIFES BLACK, he steps up here but from the gate can look to take his chance.

PRESLEYBEGOOD (3) will strip fitter following her return last start when taking the trail she chased hard to grab the bronze. A winner of the fillies Triad Consolation 2 starts back she can feature in this.

CAPITALIZE (8) worked across to face the breeze from gate 4 last start and was in for the fight when going under a neck. He will need a slice of luck here but if the gaps open look for him charging home.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (11), SEA HAWKE (4), PRESLEYBEGOOD (3), CAPITALIZE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (11)

RACE FIVE

PARAVANI (9) has been impressive in 2 Qld starts and remains undefeated after al-the-way victories in each. Sweeping a Gold Pot series he was sharp on debut when zipping home a 55.4 closing 800m and then in the final did it easily. He will be chasing in this but looks to have the speed to overcome the gate.

LIFEONTHEBEACH (1) started from gate 12 last start and was tracking home wide off the track when finishing a half-neck from the winner TOM ME GUN. Strong from the breeze over the 2138m 3 starts back and claiming the silver behind CHARMING MAJOR he can make the most of the options here.

FAME ASSURED (7) is 2 from 2 this campaign after wins in some strong races. Last start she was best up the passing lane after an easy trip which followed a stylish win from the 2nd line. Kept fresh for this.

RED CHARMER (8) will get a cosy trip here against the markers and be waiting for the gaps to take her shot. She led throughout in a qualifier last start and wont be far away again here.

SELECTIONS: PARAVANI (9), LIFEONTHEBEACH (1), FAME ASSURED (7), RED CHARMER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PARAVANI (9) to win

RACE SIX

MY ULTIMATE JOE (1)
was off the 2nd line here 3 starts back and worked home strongly to run the in-form MONTANA CHIEF to a neck margin. He followed that with a strong effort at Redcliffe when working home in good style and last start chased hard. With the improved gate he gets his chance.

JOVIAL JULIE (5) found running line cover from gate 3 last start when 2nd up for the term and finished best to arrive for the prize. She struck trouble at her return run when down the line from a 2nd line gate and with the added fitness and winning confidence can go close again.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (2) made a winning return for the season when using the Redcliffe passing lane to score in t good style. Tough from the breeze when 2nd up and beaten 1.5m she is in the mix.

MEGIDDO (6) resumes from a spell and will be 1st up in Qld for Chantal Turpin. Last seen at Melton back in June, he has trialled in good order to prepare and stays under notice from the wide gate.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE JOE (1), JOVIAL JULIE (5), SAINT KILDA BEACH (2), MEGIDDO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE JOE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

ACT OF VALOR (12) was a winner here 4 starts back when finding the pegs from gate 4 he was able to dictate and take them all the way. Not suited at his next few, he faces a steep class drop fining his way into this race and despite the outside car-park gate he looks to have their measure.

MY ULTIMATE HELL (1) started from a wide gate here on Tues and worked home well to grab the silver behind ONE OFF who looked to have the class edge on the field. Taken back to find position from gate 5 the start prior, he will get the perfect trip here and be ready to take the closing shot.

FLASH UNDER FIRE (4) had a look from gate 5 last start but couldn’t quite get there and was forced to face the breeze which didn’t suit. The start prior was a tidy effort and finding the pegs here will give them something to chase.

REDDY FIRE (9) covered plenty of territory last start and as wide for a long way, fading late under the effort. With better luck here and finding an early position he can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: ACT OF VALOR (12), MY ULTIMATE HELL (1), FLASH UNDER FIRE (4), REDDY FIRE (9)

RACE EIGHT

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1)
took them all the way here 3 starts back over the sprint trip and fought them off after a strong opening 800m. Unsuited from the 2nd line at his past 2 starts, he gets back to the front line and with not a great deal of mid-race pressure looking on offer can capitalise.

NUI TOC TIEN (6) shoots for the hat-trick after successive Sat night victories at the mile and the middle distance. Taken back from gate 7 last start he charged home over the top of them to score a strong win. Freshened since that win he will be trying to swoop home in the closing stages.

WHISKEY BLAZE (2) switches stables and returns to Ben Battle. A winner here 4 starts back when closing in good order, he will get the chance to drop to the pegs early and take advantage of a cosy run.

TOP TRIO (7) was too far back last start and then faced a task when the closing panels from the front were strong. Fitter for the run, he can look for a tow home and chime in late.

SELECTIONS: PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1), NUI TOC TIEN (6), WHISKEY BLAZE (2), TOP TRIO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1) to win

RACE NINE

GALAXY HUNTER (1)
settled a long way back in the pack last start and was chasing but couldn’t work into it. The start prior he made a mess of the start which ended his chances from the tapes. A strong beginner from the mobile, he was beaten a flared nostril last start from the mobile and get his chance from the ace.

MISTER OZ (8) was smartly away from the 30m tape last start and with some early scrimmage was able to work on to the front. That looked to be his chance to break a frustrating run of outs, yet he was grabbed on the line. He can look for the perfect trip here and take the snipers shot.

NORAHS FLING (4) can boast narrow victories over both GALAXY HUNTER and MISTER OZ in her past 4 starts and with the right run can again challenge. Making the most of conditions last start she took the closing shot and is in the mix again.

GHENT (7) made a brilliant beginning last start to work to the front from a 20m tape and once in control kept them chasing. Banished to the outside owing to a barrier break from the mobile last start, if safely away he can challenge.

SELECTIONS: GALAXY HUNTER (1), MISTER OZ (8), NORAHS FLING (4), GHENT (7)
