RACE TWO

RUHTREBO (7) started from this gate last start and was locked away in the run when hitting the line hard in the closing stages to be 3m from the winner WHERES THE SPIRIT. His previous 3 starts to start the season were all in stronger events and while he needs some luck here, can arrive in time.

RITCHIE BEE (8) faces a tricky gate here but has been meeting stronger opponents than he faces here. Last start he went to the front and looked to dictate when grabbed by a swooping SHERIFF JUJON. Within 5m of JAX NAVARO the start prior, he can throw down a strong challenge in this.

TAYLOR HOOD (5) makes his Qld debut for Ben Battle and arrives with a last start luckless 3^rd at Bathurst. Only beaten 5m 2 starts back if he can handle the triangle 1^st up he is in the mix.

DYNAMIC DEEJAY (6) broke a 30 month winless streak last month when stepping out in Qld for the 1^st time. Sent to the front he took control and blitzed his opponents. The gate stings but with a similar run can’t be ignored.

RACE THREE

SIGNORINA JUJON (1) settled in the running line from gate 5 last start at AP and was hitting the line in good order when 8m from the winner PRESLEYBEGOOD. That followed a good run when 5m from the winner off the 2^nd line and with the benefit of gate 1 and the options can land a maiden 3YO win.

BETTOR BECAUSE (4) will strip fitter following her return to the track last start when down the line from a 2^nd line gate. Consistent throughout her 2YO season including closing out the term with 4 successive top-two finishes, she looks to get her chance to finish in the money.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (6) returns from a spell to start her 3YO term here and looked good in a recent trial win when not knocked about. A winner at her final 2YO start she can place here.

MAYWYN TOUGH (3) looked to take them all the way last start from gate 1 when gunned down in the closing stages. Given a trial since that effort he has podium claims from the alley.

RACE FOUR

OMINOUS FLYER (1) found his race here 2 starts back to end a long run of outs by pressing forward from gate 5 to take control and once in front was too strong in claiming a 10m victory. Positioned on the pegs in a small field last start he didn’t get a shot and hustling early can take control here.

MICKEE CULLEN (7) claimed victory over the sprint trip here 3 starts back when working in the run and then angled back to the passing lane to take the closing shot. Closing out hard last start from gate 5 he went within a head of victory and he will be coiled and ready to take the snipers shot.

FAMOUS SHOES (8) scored a tidy win here 3 starts back from gate 10 when threading a passage and finishing best to score. Charging home late last start he will be hitting the line hard in this.

SAND SAFARI (6) is doing plenty wrong at the start of her races which is proving costly. Banished to the trials last start for a starting offence she hit the line in good order and can bob-up here.

RACE FIVE

NIKALONG HENRY (1) is still searching for his 1^st Qld win and after a string of bad gates gets his chance. Last start he took on a 2^nd division qualifier and chased gamely behind TED WEST which followed a gate 6 run over the 2138m trip. This is far easier than anything he has tackled recently and he looks hard to stop.

THERESACHANCE (10) dis plenty of work last start when rolling forward from gate 4 to get in the action and after finding the front was gunned down late. 5m from JAX NAVARO after racing in the pocket trail 2 starts back, he has the tricky gate but looks well placed in this company.
 
HAVANA MOON (7) doesn’t have the greatest numbers next to his name but should appreciate the run he looks set to receive here. Likely to be stalking the leader he can take the closing shot.

MODERN THOUGHT (3) started from the 2^nd line here 2 starts back and worked home in good order to grab the bronze. Doing her share of early work last start and fighting on she can be thereabouts.

RACE SIX

EPIRUS BOY (4) didn’t have much luck last start and looking for position ended up at the rear from gate 3 before trying to make ground in the closing stages. Starting fav over the sprint trip here 2 starts back he found the line in good order and in a wide-open event can arrive for the prize.

SHERIFF JUJON (5) worked home strongly from well back in the pack here 2 starts back and went within 2m of victory behind JAX NAVARO. Starting from the 2^nd line last start he finished best off an even tempo to claim a half-neck victory and can look to chime in again in this.

JUSTA DALE (6) was a long way back in the pack last start and was charging home in a real eye-catcher to be within 5m of the winner SHERIFF JUJON. Despite the tough gate he can challenge.

MAHALO (3) used the passing lane here 2 starts back to grab the bronze when 1.5m from the winner SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT. Buried in the run last start she has been kept fresh and is in the mix here.

RACE SEVEN

NOVENA ROSE (1) has been runner-up at her past 3 starts in stronger company than she faces here. Taking on a mares event last start she started from the ace and from the trail was best of the chasers behind SHARDS HALO which followed a similar run behind LINCOLN ROAD. With the options she looks to get every winning chance.

WILLSINTOWN (2) started from gate 10 here 2 starts back and after settling in the pack finished over the top to claim a tidy victory. Spearing out from gate 6 last start over the 2280m trip he then took cover and a flat tyre saw him fade late. With the speed to take control he can dictate over the sprint.

DESTINY WARRIOR (3) worked his way to the front over the 2280m last start and once in control was able to hold on to score by a head. Grabbed late here 2 starts back when in front, he will be in for the fight.

EARL JUJON (7) started from the 2^nd line last start and working into the AP 2138m trip finished best to claim a half-neck victory at start 100. He will get a perfect trip here and can take the short-cuts home.
