RACE TWO

After tackling some tougher contests in recent starts, SIRIUS VICKI (9) should appreciate this contest. Last start from gate 11 she went to the line un-tested after hitting a roadblock in the stretch when under 5m from the winner. A passing lane winner 3 starts back, this looks an ideal bounce back.

FOREVER ROCKING (3) will take added experience from her latest outing where she finished well beaten yet there were excuses. Starting from the 2nd line and striking trouble, the return to the front line is a big plus and after a tidy effort on debut 2 starts back, she can be challenging here.

MISTER REBBILY (4) earns his ticket back to the main draw after being banished as an ODM 2 starts back. Both runs in that time have been good, the latest when charging late for 3rd and he has claims.

SIT DOWN WALTER (2) has some ordinary numbers next to his name in 6 starts this term yet nothing has really gone right. With an improved gate and the chance to find the front, he can give cheek.

SELECTIONS: SIRIUS VICKI (9), FOREVER ROCKING (3), MISTER REBBILY (4), SIT DOWN WALTER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SIRIUS VICKI (9) to win

RACE THREE

In a race where many of these are looking for the opportunity to re-capture some form, ROCK THE HOUSE (8) can be the beneficiary of a soft run in transit and hope some gaps arrive when needed. Holding on for the bronze here 2 starts back behind SIXPENNY RED, they were a bit too slick last time. Just needs the opening.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6) isn’t having the best of luck in snaring a marble and will again be forced to start from a sticky gate. 2 runs back he stuck to the inside when the closing split made it tough for the chasers behind JAMIES BAD BOY. Finding position cheaply he can challenge.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (2) made an error at Redcliffe 2 starts back and chased hard to pinch 3rd. Angled to the pegs for the short-cuts last start, with added fitness and experience she can place.

ITMIGHTBEYOU (1) has landed some wide gates of late so the respite in landing the ace looks a great benefit here. Fighting hard in the breeze 4 runs back, she has early speed to hold a good spot.

SELECTIONS: ROCK THE HOUSE (8), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (6), VALKYRIE HANOVER (2), ITMIGHTBEYOU (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK THE HOUSE (8) to win

RACE FOUR

COLOMBIAN GOLD (1)
is the most improved pacer in Qld and last start continued marching through the ranks. After using the passing lane for the silver 5 runs back, she has gone undefeated the next 4, including a power running mile in front 2 starts back with a closing 55.1 for the last 800m. She can dictate again.

NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (8) will resume from a break and with a powerful finishing burst, lands the perfect gate at his return. Swooping hard to arrive 4 starts back, he then grabbed the bronze at his next Sat night outing. With no public trial to prepare, he will be ready to strike in the stretch.

THREE MUGS IN (2) is racing better than his return may be suggesting and isn’t far off a win. Closing strongly for the silver behind BRADS LUCK last start, he can settle handy here to be in the mix.

RUATO BAY (4) faces a tough gate as he shoots for a hat-trick of victories, but if able to sneak into a trailing position cheaply, he can swoop late. Arriving for a qualifying win last start, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: COLOMBIAN GOLD (1), NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (8), THREE MUGS IN (2), RUATO BAY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-8

RACE FIVE

AINTNOBETTOR (10) should appreciate the conditions here despite the tough gate. Taking on a qualifier last start he was wide late and finding the line strongly when only 4m in arrears of the winner TULHUST SANTANNA. Not far away the start prior up the passing lane, this looks ideal.

LIVING GRAND (3) eased back from gate 6 last start to look for the short-cuts up the pegs and looking for gaps that didn’t open when needed was only 7m from the winner. Fighting hard from the front 4 starts back to score, he can settle handy from this alley to challenge.

MUCHO MACHO MAN (7) features in a stable switch and will step out in the Ryan Veivers silks for the 1st time. Too far back from gate 6 last start over the 2138m, he stays under notice here.

ARK PATROL (5) was a beaten fav last start in an open market and after settling in the 1x1 trail couldn’t close it out. Tough in the breeze 2 starts back, he can be around the mark again here.

SELECTIONS: AINTNOBETTOR (10), LIVING GRAND (3), MUCHO MACHO MAN (7), ARK PATROL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: AINTNOBETTOR (10) to win

RACE SIX

CHERRYS THE BEST (5) was enormous in defeat last start when taking on a Sat night mares qualifier. Striking trouble at release, she was off-stride and looked to have lost all hope. Catching the field and attacking the line with venom, she was under 5m from the winner. A strong winner 4 runs back, she can take the prize.

ZARAS ALL GOOD (1) will be looking to make it 4 on end here after completing the threepeat last start. Winning successful races from behind the leader over the mile, last start from gate 12 she packed too many guns in the stretch to arrive for a smart win. Back to the pegs, she is the threat.

SPEECHCRAFT (7) has no favours from the car-park as he lines up for just his 2nd AP outing. A tough Marburg winner 2 starts back, this is a rise, but with even luck in transit, he can chime in here.

BANGKOK BRAVADO (2) has placed at his past 2 and a win is not far away when the conditions suit. Only 2m in arrears from ZARAS ALL GOOD last start, he was 4m away 2 starts back when leading.

SELECTIONS: CHERRYS THE BEST (5), ZARAS ALL GOOD (1), SPEECHCRAFT (7), BANGKOK BRAVADO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CHERRYS THE BEST (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

KILLARA KAOS (5) will take benefit from his 1st up run in Qld when racing for the 1st time in over 6 weeks. Settling in the pocket trail, he was best of the chasers behind the flying mare COLOMBIAN GOLD. With a sharp Menangle run 4 starts back, this looks easier and he can take the prize.

SHADOW ECLIPSE (4) set the tempo last start at Tamworth and tried to bust it open through the 3rd panel, but only bought himself undone in the process. He should take further benefit from the outing after being 2nd up from a break and with slick early speed can settle in the right position.

CC JONES (1) hasn’t really had much go in his favour of late and last tine from gate 11 went luck hunting up the inside behind the smart TIZ A SIZZLER. With the peg-line benefits he can feature.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (10) was only 2m from the winner last start over the 2138m after using the passing lane. Better suited at the mile, he should appreciate the trip and has place hopes here.

SELECTIONS: KILLARA KAOS (5), SHADOW ECLIPSE (4), CC JONES (1), RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (10)
SUGGESTED BET: KILLARA KAOS (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

PURE CHARISMA (11) will take great benefit from her 1st Qld start last time out after settling in the running line from gate 2. Grabbing the silver, she would have been a serious threat if seeing open space when needed when only 1.5m from the winner. With the right cart home, she can arrive here.

COUNTRY RUN (1) led them last start at Marburg and looked set to feature in the money until striking trouble on the home turn and tipping the pilot out. Still looking for a maiden Qld victory, he lands the ideal gate and if the outside pressure is subdued in this, he will have something to offer.

MISS MONEYBAGS (12) started fav last time out in an open market but made a mess of it in the early stages. It was a big run when really attacking the line late and she can feature here.

FORTES IN FIDE (3) finished mid-field in the Marburg to Albion final after snagging back from gate 7 and then working home nicely to be 7m from the winner. He can settle closer here and can podium.

SELECTIONS: PURE CHARISMA (11), COUNTRY RUN (1), MISS MONEYBAGS (12), FORTES IN FIDE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: PURE CHARISMA (11) to win

RACE NINE

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (6) started from inside the 2nd line last start and in the wash-up was buried 5 positions back on the inside. Locked away he was keen in the run but when able to find a passage was soon the widest runner and hit the line in good style. The gate hurts, but this is within reach.

LIVE ATOM (5) returns from a spell without the benefit of a public trial. Last seen when fading out at Redcliffe when setting the tempo, the start prior he was game in the breeze from gate 5 over this trip when only 5m in arrears. He can get forward here and if pinching a panel or two can see it out.

MAKE MINE JOE (10) chased home behind the airborne COLOMBIAN GOLD last start after starting from this same gate. Not far away in claiming grade the start prior, he can chime in here.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2) released the lead duties over this trip on Tues and from the good gate once again a similar tactic can be expected. A smart winner over the mile 2 starts back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (6), LIVE ATOM (5), MAKE MINE JOE (10), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (6) to win
