RACE TWO

PERFECT FEELING (1) went to Redcliffe 3 starts back and went to the pegs looking for short-cuts when eventually being buried and finishing down the line behind HADLEY. His past 2 at Tamworth have been tough from wide gates and with the good gate here gets a chance to dictate.

MADETOPLAY (7) will take some confidence from her win at Redcliffe on Thurs where she finished over the top to claim a smart win after restraining early from a wide gate. Her previous runs had been against much stronger opponents and with the right run in transit can look to challenge.

CHEYENNE AUTUMN (5) has found a top-3 in 50% of her outings here at Marburg, however the wide gate will make it tricky here. Working home well to grab 3rd at Redcliffe 2 starts back, she has claims.

ITS YOU NOT ME (2) held the pocket trail last start at Redcliffe and chased hard to hold on for the silver when 2m in arrears. Settling close to the speed, he can again be chiming into it in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: PERFECT FEELING (1), MADETOPLAY (7), CHEYENNE AUTUMN (5), ITS YOU NOT ME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: PERFECT FEELING (1) to win

RACE THREE

In a race where the front-line tempo could set it up for a swooper, the 3YO CORINDHAP CREEK (7) can settle in a perfect position and be ready to descend on them. Holding on for 3rd despite making an error when resuming last start, he tackles his home track for the 1st time and is worth a ticket.

BARBOO (6) started fav last start at Redcliffe from gate 2 where he settled in the running line to finish 6m in arrears of the winner DYNAMIC DEEJAY. Finding form with wins at 3 of his previous 4 starts, if he can see any luck at all from inside the 2nd, he can throw down the challenge.

SCHOOBY (2) couldn’t go with them last start when the sprint went on, finishing down the line behind the handy filly AMAYA BECOMES. A winner his previous 2, if he can pinch a panel, he can take some catching.

LIVING FREE (4) finished mid-field over the AP mile last start behind the smart WITH THE BAND. With good speed off the arm, he can get forward here to have a look and will be in the fight.

SELECTIONS: CORINDHAP CREEK (7), BARBOO (6), SCHOOBY (2), LIVING FREE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CORINDHAP CREEK (7) to win

RACE FOUR

GIVE ME FIFTY (4)
started from the 2nd line at Tamworth last start when holding on to 4th. The start prior at AP he was eased back from gate 5 and was soon just too far back in the pack to get into the contest. Finding position cheaply here can see him finish over the top.

GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (7) started from gate 5 last time out at Redcliffe and was sent forward to race tough in the breeze. Packing too many punches in fighting them off to claim a 2m victory, it was a tough way to break the maiden tag. Freshened since that run, he can challenge in this.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1) has raced her way into some form with placings at her past 3 in succession at Redcliffe. Doing it the tough way at her latest start, she will be gripping on here.

BAMBOLE NERE (3) made the most of the pocket trail last start over the 1850m when finding the space to loom up and grab a narrow victory. Kept fresh since that win, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GIVE ME FIFTY (4), GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (7), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1), BAMBOLE NERE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

FORTES IN FIDE (7) broke a frustrating run of outs last start, scoring his 1st win under the guidance of his original trainer Mark Reys. Forging his way to the front from gate 2 over the 1780m, keeping an even tempo he was able to take them all the way. With some good front-line pressure, he can go back-to-back.

TARGARYEN HANOVER (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe when finishing best to claim a 3m victory. Forced to work hard in the run the start prior when holding on for the silver as a red figure fav, he can utilise his early speed here. This is a step up, but the gate works in his favour.

ELZBOY (6) didn’t receive the smoothest passage last start from gate 10 when down the line. A smart winner here 4 starts back, with a soft trip he will be probing for openings here.

DOMESTIC ART (3) is one of the most experienced Marburgers and boasts a top-3 in 20 of 39 outings, with 10 of those being victories. With early speed to find a forward position, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FORTES IN FIDE (7), TARGARYEN HANOVER (1), ELZBOY (6), DOMESTIC ART (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FORTES IN FIDE (7) to win

RACE SIX

An even spread of mares to battle out this female driver invitation event where KAY NORA SHANNNON (8) can secure the right trip to take the prize. Runner-up at her past 2 starts both at Redcliffe, she has raced tough and been grabbed late after leading. He can go one better here.

WHERES TASCOTT (2) was the best of the chasers and stuck to her guns in a slick sub 28 sec closing split at Redcliff last start when chasing the smart filly AMAYA BECOMES. Taking benefit from that run where she was 2nd up from a spell, with the good gate she looks to get a chance to cash-in.

SWAFFHAM WATER (5) doesn’t have many favours from the wide gate, yet if the speed is genuine, look for her to be swooping late. Her run 2 back had merit and last start nothing went right when unable to find position.

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (4) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run looking for space. Locked away when easing back the start prior, she can be sharper in this.

SELECTIONS: KAY NORA SHANNNON (8), WHERES TASCOTT (2), SWAFFHAM WATER (5), SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: KAY NORA SHANNNON (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

ARTISTIC SAINT (1) had been showing a win wasn’t far away and franked that assessment last start at Redcliff over the sprint trip. Holding the breeze from gate 2, he was too tough in holding on for a half-head victory. He will need to hustle early, but in front can dictate.

RANFURLY RULZ (7) is yet to miss the board in 3 outings here at Marburg, with a win and 2 minors. Finishing over the top at Redcliffe 2 starts back for a smart win, he was buried away last start looking for space that didn’t really arrive. With even luck in transit, he can take the closing shot.

WEE JIMMY (2) rolled forward from gate 5 last start at Redcliffe and content to roll the sleeves, fought on gamely to grab the bronze. Never far from the action, he can chime in again here.

DONNY JONES (4) was locked away against the poles from inside the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe when hitting the line in nice style for 2nd to COREY WILLIAM. With early speed to find position, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ARTISTIC SAINT (1), RANFURLY RULZ (7), WEE JIMMY (2), DONNY JONES (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-7
