RACE TWO

BRONSKI MACARENA (6) returns to start her 3YO term after placing on 4 occasions during her 2YO season. She looked set to break the maiden a number of times earlier in the season, but then she just seemed to bump into a better one each time. Despite the wide gate and no trial, she can be taken on trust to return with a bang.

STRAIGHTOUTAHEAVEN (5) is a 4YO Rock N Roll Heaven entire on debut for Bianca Hooper that is trained on the track here at Redcliffe. Ready to go in his 3YO term, he has been given more time and his latest trial here was a sharp hit-out. He strikes a winnable race 1st up and looms as a big threat.

CATCH THE BOUQUET (1) was eased back from gate 6 last start to look for some luck up the pegs when down the line behind IM SANDY BAY. With peg-line benefits she can chime into some money.

STARZZZ ON HIGH (3) will take further experience from her latest start after 2 runs since debuting. Finishing mid-field last start from a 2nd line gate, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: BRONSKI MACARENA (6), STRAIGHTOUTAHEAVEN (5), CATCH THE BOUQUET (1), STARZZZ ON HIGH (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

GRINYDONTCHA (3) didn’t fire a shot on the grass last start at Kilcoy but should be better served getting back to the triangle here. Not suited the start prior when forced to restrain from a wide gate at Marburg, she will get the opportunity to use her early moves here and gets her chance to dictate.

WHATA REACTOR (4) is on the back-up from Tues at AP where she was able to find the pocket trail and hold on for the bronze behind WHITEHAVEN LASS. That made it successive placings at The Creek after holding chasing into the money in smart time behind ALL GOOD WALLY. She can challenge.

REDNECK RENDEZVOUS (8) angled away from the pegs last start after drawing inside the 2nd line and loomed up in the stretch, beaten a pimple in a blanket finish. This is no harder and he is right in the fight.

DARTESIAN (1) should appreciate the inside line here and with a cosy trip on offer can look to chime into the money late. A passing lane winner 4 starts back, he can be ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: GRINYDONTCHA (3), WHATA REACTOR (4), REDNECK RENDEZVOUS (8), DARTESIAN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-8

RACE FOUR

FRANCO NEVAEH (6)
can be forgiven for his last start failure when having his 1st look at the grass at Kilcoy and making an early error, he was never in the mix. The start prior at Marburg, he was sent forward and was able to soccer a smart maiden breaking win. He can bounce back hard in this.

TRACES OF TARA (5) has faced wide gates at her past 2 starts and despite another tough alley, can get forward again here. Holding on for 3rd last start after working across from this same gate to find the 1x1, she can use her early speed with the front looking available here, she can fight to the line.

PRIVATE JUJON (1) went to the pegs last start for the short-cuts when trying to make ground in the closing stages. Only beaten a head the start prior, he can chime in after the cosy trip here.

WILLBE DOC (8) hasn’t had much go his way in recent starts. With a long winless streak, he can get a trail into the contest here and will get a chance to chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO NEVAEH (6), TRACES OF TARA (5), PRIVATE JUJON (1), WILLBE DOC (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO NEVAEH (6) to win

RACE FIVE

In a tricky race to dissect where the front line doesn’t have a lot of early speed, ALL MADNESS (10) might just have found a suitable race. 5 starts back he was hitting the line in good order wide off the track behind THE RAGNBONE MAN to grab the silver. Not much has gone right since and with even luck he can turn it around against these.

CHEYENNE AUTUMN (5) was forced to retreat last start from gate 7 and was back in the pack facing a forlorn task to chase. That followed a similar scenario from gate 6 and despite the wide gate again, returning to Redcliffe and pressing forward can see a sharper effort here.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) tried to take them all the way from this gate last start and was forced to go too hard early and resulted in him fading late. Looking for the trail, the cosy trip can work in his favour.

ELLE JAY (4) has been to the track 4 times this campaign and should be now close to a fitness peak. She hit the line in good order last start to grab the bronze and should appreciate these opponents.

SELECTIONS: ALL MADNESS (10), CHEYENNE AUTUMN (5), ITS YOU NOT ME (1), ELLE JAY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

KISS CAM (8) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was soon buried away in the run and didn’t see the required space to make a challenge. 2 starts back he was attacking the line strongly when grabbing 2nd behind the flying COLOMBIAN GOLD and can overcome the 2nd row to take this.

FRENCH GLOBE (1) has placed at his past 3 starts as he looks to break a 12-month winless streak. Last time out when leading them up he was grabbed by the swooping SPONDOOLEY in the closing stages when holding on for 2nd. He can get a soft run in transit and be ready to strike late.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (7) will need a slice of luck from this alley as she looks set to be buried in the run. Closing out strongly for 3rd in a mares qualifier last start, she can take the short-cuts to chime in.

SOULWRITER (2) was forced to race tough last start in a strongly run mile that saw her fade in the closing stages under the pressure. With good early speed and back to the triangle, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: KISS CAM (8), FRENCH GLOBE (1), TRUNKEY DIGGER (7), SOULWRITER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KISS CAM (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

PURE CHARISMA (5) was 1st up in Qld 2 starts back when she was only narrowly beaten after failing to get the space to issue a full challenge. Starting fav last time out from gate 11 over the AP mile, she was winding up late when 5m from the winner. Despite the wide gate, she looks to get her chance.

WILLSINTOWN (3) didn’t have the smoothest passage last start and was hampered in the run when down the line. His past 4 starts have been from 2nd line gates including a win where he finished best late to arrive. With sharp early speed, he can fire off the arm and is right in the mix here.

HESLUVABLE (9) was a winner here 6 starts back when able to lead all the way from gate 1. Since that victory he has been thereabouts without threatening and with even luck can chime in here.

TRENTLEIGH (1) has been around the money in recent starts and lands the peg-line benefits here. Beaten a nose hair 2 starts back when making a late charge, he has podium claims once again.

SELECTIONS: PURE CHARISMA (5), WILLSINTOWN (3), HESLUVABLE (9), TRENTLEIGH (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PURE CHARISMA (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

MISTER DECORUM (6) is on the back-up from Wed night where he looked to well-placed to feature strongly. The short gap between outings won’t be a concern as he went back-to-back 2 starts ago with the same gap between starts. Strong in the breeze to score a comfortable win, he can out-tough them here.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (3) rolled forward from gate 5 to find position here last start and after finding running line cover held on to claim the bronze when 6m in arrears of the winner. He took on a tougher race at AP over the 2138m the start prior from gate 7 when luckless and can feature in this.

ARBIT MAJOR (8) pressed ahead from gate 6 over the sprint trip here last start and was in the fight until the closing stages when 6m from the winner. A winner here 2 back, he has claims again.

READILY (1) hasn’t won for a while now, yet he lands the right gate for a cheap run to make a closing play here. Eased back from gate 6 last time he was sound to the line and can be closer here.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (6), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (3), ARBIT MAJOR (8), READILY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DECORUM (6) to win
