RACE TWO

REDRIVERDEBBA (4) has been facing big handicaps in recent starts, the latest here on Tuesday when starting from the 30m tape. Back in the pack as the leader controlled the tempo to open the field up and score, her run the start prior was full of merit. Back to the front line can see her break a long winless streak.

MALABAR SPUR (1) worked home in good order on the grass at Kilcoy 2 starts back when able to grab the silver behind DAVEY MAC. Her effort had merit here 3 back when not that far from the winner HAVANA MAGIC and with the early options from the inside lane, gets her chance to throw it down.

TORFINO MIST (7) should appreciate the return to this level after tackling Saturday night company at her past 2 starts. A winner at 3 on the bounce prior to stepping up, to tackle the open ranks, she can bounce back here.

LANSBURY (2) was in a similar position to REDRIVERDEBBA here on Tuesday and after starting from the 20m tape, just could not get into the contest. Chasing home behind WEE MAN TROUBLE 2 starts back, she can settle on the speed to feature.

SELECTIONS: REDRIVERDEBBA (4), MALABAR SPUR (1), TORFINO MIST (7), LANSBURY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Sent for a spell back in August after a tidy opening preparation, SCOTCH EN ICE (6) returned to the track at Redcliffe in fine fettle. Sent into the 1780m assignment without a trial, gate 9 was not enough to stop his charge as he cruised home to an effortless 19m victory. Fitter for that run, he can go 2 for 2 this campaign.

RANCHO MAN (1) was obliged to roll the sleeves to race tough last start and despite the trip was still giving in the closing stages when 3m in arrears of the winner. Beaten as a red figure fav here 3 starts back, he has placed at 6 of his past 7 starts and from the gate can throw down the challenge for victory.

TEE JAY CEE (5) made the most of conditions last start at Redcliffe when pressing forward to take control and once in front was never in danger. This is tougher, but he can make the next step.

OUR LILLIE MAY (8) made a nice debut here last week when holding on for the silver behind MAJOR TRALEE. Giving away experience to her rivals, she will take benefit from the run and with a soft trip can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SCOTCH EN ICE (6), RANCHO MAN (1), TEE JAY CEE (5), OUR LILLIE MAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SCOTCH EN ICE (6) to win

RACE FOUR

NICKS PICK (4) returns from a break after a 10-start campaign to open his career returned 5 placings. Last seen in the Triad Consolation when not that far from the winner NONE GRATER, he has looked sharp in a pair of trials in preparation for the return. With even luck he can strike first up.

DELIGHTFUL REASON (5) will strip fitter following her last start when returning from a spell. Holding the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line, she made full use of the cosy trip to make the closing shot a winning one. The gate stings somewhat here, but with the maiden breaking win out of the way, she can challenge.

ROCK THE HOUSE (1) eased from gate 7 last start before charging home in the closing stages over the 2138m trip to grab the bronze. A winner here 4 starts back, from the gate he can be ready to strike.

BIG GEM MONTANA (6) has been on a tour of the South East in recent starts, starting at 4 tracks in his past 4 attempts. Inside the 2nd line at Marburg made it tough last start when grabbing 3rd which had followed a grass win at Warwick. The gate hurts yet he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: NICKS PICK (4), DELIGHTFUL REASON (5), ROCK THE HOUSE (1), BIG GEM MONTANA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-5-6

RACE FIVE

PROSECUTION WITNESS (3)
was buried in the run from inside the 2nd line last start and when the gap opened, he rattled home in the closing stages to get within a tally ho paper of the winner KENSINGTON BILL. Drawn inside the 2nd line at 3 of his past 4 starts, conditions look ideal here.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (1) eased from a wide gate last start before hitting the line in nice order over the closing stages when 7m from the winner. He has not had the best run of barriers in recent outings and with the improved alley here, should get the perfect trip to make a closing challenge.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (4) arrived for a smart Redcliffe win 4 starts back after landing a wide gate. Chasing gamely when holding on for the silver last start behind THE FORTUNATE SON, he can chime in here.

ITS SUPER EASY (5) was a winner here 2 starts back over this trip when settling in the 1x1 trail before steaming over the top of them. Fading under a strong mile last start, he can feature in this.

SELECTIONS: PROSECUTION WITNESS (3), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (1), HOT ROD HEAVEN (4), ITS SUPER EASY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: PROSECUTION WITNESS (3) to win

RACE SIX

With the options as the lone 2nd line runner, OUR UNCLE JIM (8) looks set to angle away from the poles early to find the running line. Gate 7 was his undoing last start as THE FORTUNATE SON rolled in front and the start prior he bumped into CARLA CLARE. The tempo in front looks to give him the chance to make the closing play a winning one.

GOTTA MOMENT (4) can be mighty tough to follow, but his past 2 starts have been sound, finishing in the money at each. Gunned down over the mile here on Tuesday, he rallied to hold on for 3rd. The start prior he was dead game when fighting all the way when only a half-neck in arrears. If the right GOTTA MOMENT turns up, this is within reach.

RANIERI (3) did some early work before receiving cover last start and as then locked in the box as the moves came. Still searching for his 1st win in Qld, he can settle handy from the gate to feature.

MEGA STAR (2) eased to find position last start in the Redcliffe Guineas and then had no luck in trying to find open space. From the gate he can settle at the pointy end to make his bid.

SELECTIONS: OUR UNCLE JIM (8), GOTTA MOMENT (4), RANIERI (3), MEGA STAR (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR UNCLE JIM (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

ROYAL OBSESSION (10) should appreciate the return to the big oval after his past 2 at The Triangle were a shade disappointing. Closing nicely for the bronze behind the leader and winner DENNINGTON HEIGHTS, it followed a smart finish when runner-up to ROLL WOTH ROCKY. The gate stings but he can arrive.

SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (1) has been in nice touch at Redcliffe and comes to headquarters with a top-3 at her past 5 in succession. Working home wide off the track in nice order to grab the bronze behind MISTER FINNIGAN last start, she was chasing the in-form BLUES TERROR the start prior. With the options from the gate, she can challenge.

MIND OF MY OWN (6) pressed forward to take control over the 2138m trip last start and once in front was able to take them all the way. That followed a tough 3rd from the breeze, and she might need to roll the sleeves again.

ALLSTAR SEA (3) was a long way back in the pack last start after staying out of an early speed duel but could not make any ground in the closing stages. A winner here 3 starts back, he has place claims.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL OBSESSION (10), SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (1), MIND OF MY OWN (6), ALLSTAR SEA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL OBSESSION (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

SLINGSHOT (4) eased across to find the 1x1 trail from gate 7 last start when chasing home to grab the silver. Tackling a qualifier the start prior, he was locked away before hitting the line in nice order behind LETTERKENNY BOY. Securing position cheaply will be key here and if able to do so can arrive.

SPEECHCRAFT (3) was returning from a spell at Redcliffe 2 starts back when sent to the front and once in control was able to stave off the challengers to score. With one month between starts, he was then buried from inside the 2nd line before grabbing 3rd. He can hustle off the arm and might just pinch it in front.

BLUES TERROR (8) shoots for the hat-trick after successive Redcliffe victories since arriving in Qld. Taking them all the way last start over the 1780m trip, he will need a slice of luck to find some gaps.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (1) is still a maiden here at The Creek after 14 attempts that have netted 4 placings. A Redcliffe winner 3 starts back when finishing over the top, she will be ready to strike here.

SELECTIONS: SLINGSHOT (4), SPEECHCRAFT (3), BLUES TERROR (8), TRUNKEY DIGGER (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

There looks a front-line flush with speed here and the tempo looks hot. AT WEST POINT (4) will be further tightened from his latest effort when setting the speed and only gunned down in the closing stages. The lead came at the expense of a sub 27 opener and he felt the pinch. After 3 runs back he can strike.

KINGOFTHESTARS (7) was sent around them in the early stages after easing away from the poles last start and with a slick closing 800m split, he could not maintain the rage. That had followed a torrid trip in the Christmas Cup. With plenty of speed, he can sit back to make a closing play.

IMASPORTSSTAR (9) resumes from a spell after hitting some nice areas last campaign that returned 3 wins from his past 5 starts. With no trial to prepare, he will follow the speed and will improve from the run.

COMMODORE JUJON (3) is never far away and last start from the pocket trail held on for the silver behind MISTER DONALD. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior, he can tuck in behind and be ready to offer.

SELECTIONS: AT WEST POINT (4), KINGOFTHESTARS (7), IMASPORTSSTAR (9), COMMODORE JUJON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: AT WEST POINT (4) to win
