RACE TWO

SHERBETS CHOICE (5) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a spell. Returning with an all the way victory over the Redcliffe sprint trip, he backed it up with a late closing 2nd when within 2m of the winner after retreating early. Already a winner here at The Creek, this is within reach.

STRAYTOTHEPOOLROOM (9) has been freshened since his last outing when scoring a strong all the way win, from a wide gate at Marburg. That followed a fast-finishing victory from the 2nd line at Redcliffe when settling back in the pack. This is a step up in grade as he looks for the threepeat.

TEE JAY CEE (6) pressed on to wrestle away the lead 2 starts back and once in control was able to see it out. In for the fight last start when racing first over outside the winner, he can feature in this.

FEEL THE THUNDER (7) rolled forward from this gate last start and was able to secure the 1x1 trail. In for the fight, he was able to hold on for the silver behind RANCHO MAN and has claims again.

SELECTIONS: SHERBETS CHOICE (5), STRAYTOTHEPOOLROOM (9), TEE JAY CEE (6), FEEL THE THUNDER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SHERBETS CHOICE (5) to win

RACE THREE

This race looks tough to pin down both the winner and the map with the 2138m trip not making things any easier as it will surely sort a few of these out. SHEZ GOT BLING (4) started from the 2nd line last start when chasing late to grab 3rd and finding position cheaply, might just be the one to finish them off.

SIR BULSKI (10) returns from a spell after being shut down back in May when fading after a tough trip outside the leader. Fighting hard when runner-up the start prior, he has opened the pipes with a sound trial in readiness for the return and despite the 2nd line can look to throw down a challenge.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (8) capitalised last start when able to find the front in the early stages and then take them all the way over the Redcliffe 1780m. The trip is the concern but with a soft trip can chime in.

THATS FUNNY (1) returns to Qld after starting her career here and now joins the Jonah Hutchinson barn. Last seen in a slowly run event at Junee, she has the gate to chime in.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ GOT BLING (4), SIR BULSKI (10), WILD ABOUT TOWN (8), THATS FUNNY (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

DELIGHTFUL REASON (2) made a successful return from a spell when securing the position behind the leader from inside the 2nd line. Making a swift closing move to arrive, she followed it up when mid-field after being obliged to do all the heavy lifting outside the leader. From the good alley she looks to get her chance.

MELTON INSULTED (1) had been building towards a maiden breaker after returning from a spell with 2nds in 3 of her 4 runs back. Making the most of the right conditions last start, she pounced on them to claim her first win. With the chance of another easy run in behind the speed, she can be ready to strike.

SPECIAL MEANING (8) had too much ammunition to call on in the closing stages last start and finished over the top to open his account at career start number 3. With a cosy trip here, he will be probing for the openings.

KISSESFORYAMISSES (10) was locked away against the poles from inside the 2nd line last start when trying to force clear. Forced to cover plenty of the rack the start prior, she can be thereabouts in this.

SELECTIONS: DELIGHTFUL REASON (2), MELTON INSULTED (1), SPECIAL MEANING (8), KISSESFORYAMISSES (10)
SUGGESTED BET: DELIGHTFUL REASON (2) to win

RACE FIVE

GOALKICKER (4)
found her race last start and put in charge over the 1780m was never in danger in claiming a drought breaking win with a 6m margin. Her form had been sound leading into that race against some stronger opponents and while likely needing to work here, she can look for a repeat.

PEGGY STARDUST (2) tried to take them all the way over the 2138m here 2 starts back and after trying to break them up through the 3rd panel, was gunned down in the closing stages by MISTER DECORUM. Back to the sprint trip suited last start in leading all the way at The Triangle and from this gate she can give them plenty to chase.

NON PASSARE (1) eased to find position over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back and with a powerful finish was able to arrive over the top. Down the line last start, the soft trip here should suit his podium hopes.

GUY LOOKS GOOD (9) had been in the money at 4 runs in succession heading into his last start assignment at Redcliffe where he was plain. Forgiving that run, look for a much sharper effort here.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (4), PEGGY STARDUST (2), NON PASSARE (1), GUY LOOKS GOOD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-9

RACE SIX

Albion Park is not a happy hunting ground for many of these combatants and the front line has a combined tally of 5 wins from 66 appearances. Also, a maiden at this venue LETS GO BETTER (10) has been a work in progress, yet he might just have found his race. Closing in good order last start after retreating from gate 6, he was runner-up the start prior. He might hold the winning raffle ticket.

MONTEREY JACK (6) was sent forward from gate 4 last start and working in the run outside the leader was able to cling on to claim the bronze behind BLUES TERROR. Not suited the start prior when squeezed up, he can secure position here and be looking to make a closing offering.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8) was looking to work home wide off the track last start over this trip and made one last play to be within 2m of the winner. Needing some space, if it opens, he can feature.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (9) has been to The Creek on 3 occasions for no return but comes here a last winner this time around. Finishing over the top of them last start at Redcliffe, he is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: LETS GO BETTER (10), MONTEREY JACK (6), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS GO BETTER (10) to win

RACE SEVEN

B MAC C (6) tried to take them all the way last start in a qualifier over the 2138m but was unable to see it out when mid-field to RANGER BOMB. Gate 7 was his undoing the start prior and 3 back he was winding up too late when beaten a head. The gate stings but he should appreciate this level and can break a frustrating run of outs.

GOOD AS IT GETS (5) returned from a spell and took a few starts to warm up. Beaten in the last stride 4 starts back, he followed that with a win in the Redcliffe Guineas. Only beaten a head in a qualifier 2 starts back, he was again strong last start. This is within reach with even luck in transit.

HARPAGUS (8) settled back in the pack last start over the Redcliffe 2040m trip and was making some impression in the closing stages. Set for an easy trip in behind the speed, she will be probing for gaps.

SPEECHCRAFT (10) returned from a spell with an all the way victory at Redcliffe. With one month between starts, he chased hard for the bronze 2nd up. With the right cart home and the added fitness, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: B MAC C (6), GOOD AS IT GETS (5), HARPAGUS (8), SPEECHCRAFT (10)
SUGGESTED BET: B MAC C (6) to win
