RACE TWO

BETTING BARON (1) has not been suited from the gate at his past 2 starts with the latest when having to work hard in the run from gate 6. He took them all the way to score in good style at AP 3 starts back and with the gate advantage will be looking to dictate.

TELL THE LINESMEN (9) pressed ahead to find the front at AP last start over the 2138m and looked to ramp it up the last 800m when grabbed in the closing stages by SMOOTH SAILOR, who has franked that with another AP win. The 2nd line hurts, but he can’t be dismissed in this line-up.

GLENFERRIE DUSTER (7) chased home well from the pegs here 2 starts back to grab the silver behind PRECIOUS CULLEN. Forget his latest run when making an error, he will get the perfect trip here.

RUHTREBO (8) circled them early to get to the breeze from the 2nd line last start but couldn’t see it out behind TRES VITE. With the peg-line an option here, he is right in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BETTING BARON (1), TELL THE LINESMEN (9), GLENFERRIE DUSTER (7), RUHTREBO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-7-8-9

RACE THREE

A tricky little final to line-up here with the heats conducted in their same sex before coming together for the final. Leaning into STYLISH FEELING (3) who was a real eye-catcher 2 starts back when storming home into 2nd and followed that with a nice finishing spurt in her heat behind the clear out winner. From an improved gate she can settle closer and issue the challenge.

ILL BE A LADY (1) won the heat where STYLISH FEELING was storming home in after she was able to press on to the front from gate 3 and after a steady opening half had plenty in reserve to cruise home to a 13m victory. Fitter again now that she has had 3 runs back from a long break, she is right in this.

SONNY SAVEAO (9) missed the chance to be behind the leader in the heat in what was a scratchy start. That saw him buried 3 back and angled off the pegs at the 600m tracked home nicely. Fitter for the run, he is in the mix.

VANTO HANOVER (5) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after 2 tidy victories here on the triangle. Her heat win was a strong effort from the breeze after hitting the front at the 300m and holding on for the win.

SELECTIONS: STYLISH FEELING (3), ILL BE A LADY (1), SONNY SAVEAO (9), VANTO HANOVER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: STYLISH FEELING (3) each-way

RACE FOUR

COMPLY OR DIE (4)
wasn’t suited last start off the 2nd line and didn’t get the cleanest passage when down the line in a slick rate over the AP mile. A winner 3 starts back when spearing to the front from gate 5 and holding on, he can look to fire off the arm and dictate.

INA GREAT PLACE (3) was working hard in the run last start after circling from the 2nd line to find the breeze and fighting on over the 2138m trip to finish 6m from the winner. His run in the claiming final 3 starts back was a top effort and he will lay down a strong challenge again here.

LONG ROAD TO FAME (1) found the pegs before releasing and chased home for the silver behind COUNTDOWN. He worked home well 2 starts back and with the benefit of the gate is right in this.

CALCAVADO (5) drops into the claiming ranks following a strong win last start from gate 6 when sent to the breeze and running a strong closing 800m split. His record on the triangle is superb and he will be in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: COMPLY OR DIE (4), INA GREAT PLACE (3), LONG ROAD TO FAME (1), CALCAVADO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: COMPLY OR DIE (4) to win

RACE FIVE

OUR UNCLE SAM (8) did a power of work in the Sunshine Sprint when pressing ahead to the breeze and fought on strongly to the line when down the line. Last time out in the 4YO Championship he again had no luck from gate 6 and the effort was strong when a 9m 3rd to OUR TRIPLE PLAY. The only query is his 1st look at the track.

ANYCHANCE (2) is another having his 1st start at Redcliffe but lands the good gate. Pressing on to find the front in the Lucky Creed 3 starts back, he fought hard to the line when grabbed on the line by OUR UNCLE SAM. Only a neck from ALLELUIA 4 starts back, from the improved gate he can give this a shake.

SLICE OF HEAVEN (5) was solid in the 4YO Championship and hit the line in good fashion to hold down 4th. That followed a strong effort when 4m from PSYCHEDELIC. Finding position early are key to his chances and he has podium claims at his home track.

FRANKIE ROCKS (3) is hard to line-up exactly where he is at after recent runs at AP through the carnival. He led them up from gate 6 in the WONDAIS MATE when a 5m 2nd to GLENFERRIE HOOD and was well below his best next start. A beaten fav last start, the track and trip pose serious questions.

SELECTIONS: OUR UNCLE SAM (8), ANYCHANCE (2), SLICE OF HEAVEN (5), FRANKIE ROCKS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR UNCLE SAM (8) to win

RACE SIX

ADRIFT (1)
put together successive wins going into his latest start when not suited off a wide gate and taken back over the 2138m behind TRES VITE. His win here on the triangle 3 starts back was a stylish effort when lighting the lamps and putting them away comfortably. From the front he can dictate in this.

MY SECRET TORQUE (7) hit the line in good style at AP 2 starts back to get within 3m of the winner JUSTALITTLE TORQUE. A Good winner here over the 1780m 4 starts back she will get the perfect trip here and be ready to strike when the lane opens.

DOLLY MACH LOMBO (5) was 1st up in Qld over the 2138m and taking on a small field went back early and the up-front speed made it hard for the chasers. Fitter from that run, with the right luck in transit she can give this a shake.

ALLNIGHT MLADY (2) was buried in the run last start from a 2nd line gate which followed a run from gate 5 when taken back. Settling closer from this alley she can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: ADRIFT (1), MY SECRET TORQUE (7), DOLLY MACH LOMBO (5), ALLNIGHT MLADY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ADRIFT (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

DATSGOOD (1) started off gate 10 last start and was wide off the track for a long way over this trip when labouring to the line. Only grabbed late after finding the front 2 starts back, she took them all the way at AP 4 starts back, defeating ACT OF VALOR. With the improved gate she can deal in front.

ACT OF VALOR (3) has been top 3 at each of his 5 starts in Qld and will sight the triangle for the 1st time in this. No match for the handy HERBS HERO last start, his previous run behind TELL THE LINESMEN was a sound effort. He can ask the questions in the run here.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (7) returned from a break with a tough run from gate 4 when cutting the breeze over the 2138m trip. Sent for a break after finishing mid-field in the 3YO Triad behind COLT THIRTY ONE, he will be coiled and ready to strike here.

IFYOUBELIEVE (2) had been struggling to land an alley and then found a race where he was seet alight from the six-hole and once in front held on for the win. He followed that with a tidy effort off the 2nd line and back to the front can take a shot.

SELECTIONS: DATSGOOD (1), ACT OF VALOR (3), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (7), IFYOUBELIEVE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7
