RACE TWO

MISTER BLACKJACK (9) was a winner here 4 starts back when sitting in the pocket trail and finishing best via the passing lane to take the prize. Luckless from gate 7 in a qualifier at his next start, he backed that up with another run when luck deserted him. Despite the 2nd line, this looks winnable.

FEEL THE REIGN (7) speared across to find the front last start and was looking to take them all the way when grabbed in the closing strides and beaten a half-neck. The start prior he found the line strongly when 5m from the winner and while he needs some luck here, can’t be ignored.

LIVING GRAND (6) took on a 2nd division qualifier last start and from gate 4 did some early work in the run when grabbing the bronze and 5m from the winner. With the ability to work, he can feature.

BARA CHARLOTTE (10) was a Tamworth winner 5 starts back when rolling to the breeze from gate 6 and proving too strong. 1 from 1 here on the triangle, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS:
MISTER BLACKJACK (9), FEEL THE REIGN (7), LIVING GRAND (6), BARA CHARLOTTE (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER BLACKJACK (9) to win

RACE THREE

GUTS (1) was snagged back from gate 6 over the 2040m trip here 2 starts back and was too far back in the pack, yet was still hitting the line in good style. He couldn’t go with them last start, but his form prior to his last 2 starts was consistent and with the improved gate, he gets every chance.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5) was looking to complete a hat-trick of victories here 2 starts back when landing gate 9 he was wide off the track in the closing stages and was well beaten. From the six-hole last start he was finding the line in fine style to grab the bronze and can challenge in this line-up.

ITSMEGS (4) closed out in good order over the AP mile last start to grab the silver. She worked hard in the breeze over the sprint trip here 2 starts back and won’t be far away in this.

ONYAJANS (7) will be further tightened now that she has started 4 times since returning from a break. Charging home to grab the bronze 2 starts back, she can feature in this.

SELECTIONS: GUTS (1), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (5), ITSMEGS (4), ONYAJANS (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (3)
was a winner here 5 starts back when finishing best to claim a 3YO race. Facing some tough gates at her next 3 starts, where the effort was good, including a 3rd to the handy BETTOR BECAUSE, she was given a freshen. Fitter for the 1 run back and the improved gate can see her tough to beat here.

LETS DIG IT (2) as forced to work hard in the run last start when rolling forward from gate 5 and under the work-load, faded in the latter stages. He set the pace 2 starts back and with a hard closing 800m taken by TROJAN BANNER, couldn’t see it out. From the gate, he can throw down a challenge.

CALL ME YOURS (5) took them all the way at Marburg 3 starts back and then didn’t have any luck in the final at AP. She will need a slice of luck from this alley, but looks to fill the minors.

MONTANA EXPRESS (10) will be further tightened from his latest start when 2nd up from a break. Forced to chase as a result of his ODM tag, he can fill the exotics with the right cart home.

SELECTIONS: IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (3), LETS DIG IT (2), CALL ME YOURS (5), MONTANA EXPRESS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (3) to win

RACE FIVE

ITZ MAJOR LOOK (2) will strip fitter from his latest start when resuming from a spell. Only facing the starter on 4 occasions through his last campaign, he returned with an 8m 4th when taking inside runs behind FELLINGFORARAINBOW. A tough 3rd 3 starts back at AP, he can look to capitalise.

SHERIFF JUJON (6) was strong to the line last start after racing wide for the last portion of the contest. The start prior he finished mid-field when he was back in the pack and looking to chase. Despite the tough gate, this is no harder than what he put away last start and he is in the fight.

SNAKES N LADDERS (10) has found the line in good order at his past 2 starts. Best of the chasing pack behind a big winner last start, there was enough to suggest he can be a player in this line-up.

MODERN THOUGHT (1) found her race last start and after finding running line cover worked home well to arrive for the prize. With the benefit of the trip she will get here, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: ITZ MAJOR LOOK (2), SHERIFF JUJON (6), SNAKES N LADDERS (10), MODERN THOUGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ITZ MAJOR LOOK (2) to win

RACE SIX

OSCARS GLORY (3)
tried to take them all the way last start over the 2040m trip and after a steady opening 800m of the last mile, looked to ramp the tempo but faded in the stretch. Back to the mile suits here and despite some ordinary numbers in his form, this looks the ideal race to bounce back.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (6) isn’t afforded any favours from the wide gate here, yet her good speed off the arm can see her find a handy position in the run. Never in the contest when snagged back last start, she will appreciate this class of opponent compared to what she has been meeting.

LAZY BLAZE (7) was taken back from gate 6 last start to look for short-cuts against the pegs. Hitting the line in good order he wasn’t too far away and with the soft trip here will be probing for space.

GIGANTIC JASPER (5) will be fitter following his last start when returning from a break. His past 3 have all been from the 2nd line and moving to the front can see a change of fortunes here.

SELECTIONS: OSCARS GLORY (3), FLASHING GOOD TIME (6), LAZY BLAZE (7), GIGANTIC JASPER (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

BRIGHTON PRINCE (2) has been dealt some tough gates in his 5 career starts and should take great benefit from his best gate to date. 2 starts back he found the line in good style to grab the silver behind LOVELAINE. Not suited from gate 10 last start, the improved gate can make all the difference.

SARIE MARAIS (4) was sent forward from gate 4 last start and created the space to find a trail. With the speed on throughout, she finished mid-field behind the smart winner LORD DIGBY. Only 6m from the winner here 2 starts back after she was softened in front, she won’t be too far away in this.

OUR BALOU (7) was strong from the breeze at AP last start when cutting the breeze and fighting all the way to the line when beaten a head in strong time. He just needs some luck from the gate.

SIR BULSKI (9) makes his 1st Redcliffe appearance after 6 attempts at AP. Snagged back from gate 6 last start, he was trying to make late ground. Hitting the line nicely 2 starts back he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: BRIGHTON PRINCE (2), SARIE MARAIS (4), OUR BALOU (7), SIR BULSKI (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BRIGHTON PRINCE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

RUM AND SCHOTZ (3)
was angled to the pegs from gate 10 last start and locked away 4 back was able to attack the line in good order in the closing stages. That followed a passing lane placing over the sprint trip here 2 starts back and with this race up for grabs, he can score his win for the season.

HADLEY (8) did plenty wrong last start when having just his 2nd career start and was banished to the trials for his errors. Earning his ticket back to the track with a tidy hit-out, he has shown some ability leading in to his debut and if able to do everything right, look for a much sharper effort.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (6) looked to take them all the way last start from gate 2 and led everywhere bar the post, beaten a neck. A smart winner 3 starts back, the gate hurts but he can challenge.

ZARAS ALL SMILES (5) rolled forward from gate 5 at AP last start and was forced to race tough in the breeze, holding on for 3rd. She hasn’t been far away in similar races and is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: RUM AND SCHOTZ (3), HADLEY (8), THE CASUAL GOOSE (6), ZARAS ALL SMILES (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-5-6-8

RACE NINE

PRINCESS KATERINA (5)
pressed on to find the front last start and taking control was able to take them all the way to score at big odds and break her maiden tag in the process. With 3 starts at the triangle, she has the win and 2 placings and in a wide-open trot can go back-to-back.

MY PRECIOUS YANKEE (10) started from gate 6 under mobile conditions last start and eased back when no forward position was available. Making a move at the 800m he was sent forward in a hurry, took control at the 400 and cruised home to a big win. Fitter for the run, he has claims again here.

NORAHS FLING (9) should appreciate this class of contest after meeting stronger line-ups in recent outings. 11m from MUSCULUS last start after racing on the pegs, she is in the mix here.

GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (11) is never too far from the action and has placed at his past 2 starts. Working home strongly from a 30m tape last start, look for him making a closing play.

SELECTIONS: PRINCESS KATERINA (5), MY PRECIOUS YANKEE (10), NORAHS FLING (9), GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (11)
SUGGESTED BET:
