RACE TWO

BRONZE ECSTASY (3) has been deserted by luck at his past 2 starts where he has struck trouble on each occasion, the latest forcing his retirement from the race. With the ability to do some work if required, he strikes a winnable race here and provided he gets a rub of the green, can take the prize.

NIKALONG HENRY (10) worked hard in the run last start when sent to the breeze from gate 7. In for the fight he only faded the closing stages behind the in-form RECIPE FOR DREAMING. 2 starts back he found the line strongly when 8m from THATS HOW WEROLL and he is a big threat here.

MEGIDDO (4) was working home in nice order last start to finish mid-field and only 4m from the winner IM TOOT. 9m from BACK PAGE NEWS 2 starts back, he can be around the mark in this.

ROCK THE HOUSE (1) was snagged back from gate 6 last time out and then didn’t get a decent shot at them in the stretch. Stripping fitter for the run, the improved gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: BRONZE ECSTASY (3), NIKALONG HENRY (10), MEGIDDO (4), ROCK THE HOUSE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

A BETTER CHANCE (2) was forced to work triple time in the breeze last start and with the leader setting a solid tempo through the early stages, she faded under the pressure. A nice 3rd to WILL THE WIZARD at her debut, she should appreciate this line-up and can take control to open her account.

FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (4) retreated early from gate 6 here when 2nd up in her career here 2 starts back and was able to finish over the top to score. Finding the pocket trail from the 2nd line last start, she finished along the passing lane to grab the silver behind JIGGLE AND JIVE. She can challenge.

BONNIES CAM (7) was strong from the breeze here 2 starts back and fought gamely to take the win. The run from gate 5 last start was full of merit and while he might need some luck, he is in the mix.
MEGA STAR (5) wasn’t far away in a stronger race last start when just beyond mid-field behind his stablemate ANOTHER STATEMENT. He should appreciate this assignment and can’t be ignored.

SELECTIONS: A BETTER CHANCE (2), FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (4), BONNIES CAM (7), MEGA STAR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: A BETTER CHANCE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

MAYWYN NO REGRETS (3)
was out-hustled in the early stages here 2 starts back from gate 1 and soon found herself buried 3 poles looking for space. Finding the line nicely to be 5m from the winner, she couldn’t see it out last time when in front at AP. Back to the triangle over the sprint trip she can capitalise.

NICOPOLIS (7) worked home in good order to grab the silver at AP over the 2138m when 3m from the winner JAMAICAN RAIN 2 starts back. From inside the 2nd line last start he was away from the pegs early and then stalled 3-wide when the pace went on. With a slice of luck, he can charge home.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1) was stuck looking for space in the same race when NICOPOLIS couldn’t go on with it last start. With the options from this gate he gets his chance to feature.

TELLELLA (8) is never too far from the action and last start followed the pegs home when 9m from the winner THATS BETTOR. 2nd from this gate here 2 starts back, she is in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN NO REGRETS (3), NICOPOLIS (7), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1), TELLELLA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-7-8

RACE FIVE

DYNAMIC DEEJAY (3) was forced to do plenty of work last start after sent to the breeze from gate 7 over the AP mile with the effort seeing him fade out in a slick tempo. Best suited if able to find the pegs, he can get across them early here and from the front look to take control.

BACK PAGE NEWS (8) started from gate 10 over the sprint trip here 2 starts back and while it took him every step of the stretch to loom up, he did land a half-head victory. His effort last start from gate 6 had merit after striking some trouble and with the right early trail can lay down the challenge.

TAXI METER (5) settled in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back when chasing home for the silver. Only 3m from WE SALUTE YOU in a powerful mile last start, he is right in this.

WEASEL (1) was trying to protect the pegs last start when he went off-stride and lost all chance. His run from the breeze 2 back was good and settling handy here can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: DYNAMIC DEEJAY (3), BACK PAGE NEWS (8), TAXI METER (5), WEASEL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DYNAMIC DEEJAY (3) to win

RACE SIX

MATRON JUJON (3)
was forced to race tough in the breeze last start over the Ap 2138m trip and only faded in the closing stages when 8m from the winner OUR LITTLE DIGGER. Her run here 2 starts back was full of merit when hitting the line in good style and in this line-up looks well placed.

FORTES IN FIDES (1) resumes from a spell and hasn’t been seen at the public trials to prepare for the return. His form just tapered last campaign, but prior to that he had been racing well including a tidy effort when 5m from TASSINI 2 starts back. With the options from the ace, he is right in this.

WEE JIMMY (10) raced in the pocket trail last start and was hampered when the leader hoisted the white flag at the 400m. He lands another tough gate but with better luck can be thereabouts.

DEADLY ROCKER (9) found the front before releasing in the early stages last start and was fighting on in a strongly run 1780m. He found the line nicely 2 starts back and can chime in late here.

SELECTIONS: MATRON JUJON (3), FORTES IN FIDES (1), WEE JIMMY (10), DEADLY ROCKER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MATRON JUJON (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

INVITE ONLY (10) was luckless last start when retreating from gate 7 in a mares qualifier and settling at the rear, she was still sitting last on the home turn and hitting a wall of horses was never tested. Only 3m from IMA TOP TYCOON here 2 starts back, with the right cart home she can arrive.

COMIGAL (5) was wide off the track trying to work into the race last start behind FAME ASSURED, yet the tempo saw nothing from the rear making any ground. Only 3m from CLARRY the start prior when using inside runs, she has a solid record here on the triangle and can challenge.

HEZ RAZOR SHARP (6) will be further tightened from his latest appearance when 3rd up from a spell. Sent straight to the front from gate, he was never in danger in scoring by 9m and is in the mix again.

THUNDER MAC (8) was a winner here 3 starts back from the 2nd line when sent forward and proving too tough. He found BILL HALEY too sharp last start and from the gate here can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: INVITE ONLY (10), COMIGAL (5), HEZ RAZOR SHARP (6), THUNDER MAC (8)
SUGGESTED BET: INVITE ONLY (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

ITS JUST KENNY (8)
was back in the pack last start and found the line in good style as KETUT made the most of a soft trip to score. 2 starts back he did plenty of work in the run and only faded in the closing stages in a strong mile. With the right early trail, this looks an ideal assignment.

MAFUTA VAUTIN (2) took the trail from gate 1 last start in a mid-week FFA at AP and via the passing lane went within 3m of the winner HUGHIE GREEN. Put a line through his run 2 starts back, he can look to pounce on the pegs here and finding the front will be a hard nut to crack.

LOCHINVER (1) was locked away on the pegs in the race taken by KETUT last start after snagging back from gate 5. With a soft trip against the poles here, look for him to take the closing shot.

SWEET AS CANDY (6) will strip fitter following her return to the track from this same gate last time out. She closed out with some smart sectionals and with even luck can chime in late again.

SELECTIONS: ITS JUST KENNY (8), MAFUTA VAUTIN (2), LOCHINVER (1), SWEET AS CANDY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ITS JUST KENNY (8) to win

RACE NINE

THE IDEAL DANCER (1)
has started in Qld 4 times this campaign and been no closer than gate 5 on each occasion. 3 starts back he found the line in good style when 4m from the winner and followed that with a tidy effort when 5m in arrears. With the good gate he can land the Qld breakthrough.

TASSINI (8) has been grafting away in mares qualifiers at her recent outings and hasn’t been far away. Snagged back from gate 5 last start she struck trouble yet still found the line in good order to be within 10m of the winner. Her Redcliffe record is superb and she can throw down the challenge.

JUST ROKIN (7) was buried on the pegs last start when finding the line in good order behind HEZ RAZOR SHARP. From the gate she will get a great trip and be ready to strike when the gaps open.

TROUBLESOME DAVE (4) is yet to miss a quinella place in 3 Redcliffe outings and last time out was best of the chasers behind the big winner BILL HALEY when 1st up for the new stable. He is in the mix.

SELECTIONS:  THE IDEAL DANCER (1), TASSINI (8), JUST ROKIN (7), TROUBLESOME DAVE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-8
